**WE ARE CLOSED FOR THE 2026 CAMPING SEASON- Our home and property sustained extensive wind related tree damage this winter, and we are still cleaning up, removing hazard trees, and rebuilding. We hope to be hosting campers again starting Memorial Day weekend 2027. ** We have a private, single site located on the banks of the McKenzie River in Rainbow, Oregon. The campsite is near our home, but feels private. The access driveway and site size make it best for camper vans and smaller RV’s. Long trailers, large RV’s and tent camping are not permitted at this time. The site has 50/30 amp and 120 volt outlets, as well as water and Wi-Fi. We have a porta-potty on site Memorial Day through Labor Day. The property has many areas to set your camp chair or hang your hammock, and lots of short paths to explore. Recreation opportunities abound around here: hiking, biking, fishing, hot springs, cold springs, waterfalls, lava beds, whitewater boating on the river, and flat water paddling on the reservoirs. There are also four restaurants, a food cart, golf course and a general store nearby. The spot is on a medium sized gravel pad within view of the river. Access is down a private driveway about 100’ long. The power and water hookups are next to each other on the southern edge of the site. There is good shade about half the day in the summer, more in the winter. We have some very large cedar and fir trees surrounded by many ferns. In the summer, lemon balm, water leaf and wild flowers blanket the forest floor. We have a cat who mostly stays inside when we have campers. We are allowing dogs and other pets at this time. Please pick up after them so we can continue to welcome guests and their pets. We have a porta-potty on site Memorial Day through Labor Day.
