The View
The View was beautiful, Tabitha provided tables and things like that to make everything that much more comfortable. The outhouse was incredibly clean and well stocked with outdoor games which the kids had a fantastic time playing. We were amazed by the view of the valley, the sounds of the wildlife (bird watchers would love it here!), and just how kind Tabitha was. We were here the last weekend of July/first of August and there were no mosquitos or pest animals (did see a couple of really cool lizards though!), you can tell that the host cleans and organizes everything very thoroughly between guests and I really appreciated that.

Tabitha is seriously the best. We celebrated our anniversary and engagement here and couldn’t be more happy with our stay. She was kind enough to craft us a memento for our anniversary and really made us feel welcome. She has the camp stocked full of anything and everything you might need! Will absolutely be staying here again!! ❤️❤️

This was a great experience! Very private, they provided wood, games, the outhouse is filled with games, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, cards, coloring books. Hammocks as well as a few different tables, multiple spots to pick for a tent. Very happy with the stay & will definitely be camping there again! 10 out of 10 😊

The View is such an awesome experience. Tabitha is extremely kind and welcoming. They have clearly put a lot of work into this Hipcamp. We really enjoyed the special touches in the bathroom, the solar lights everywhere, the tables, really everything. We spent a lot of time playing one of the games. Our five dogs came along with us. We have five senior dogs and wanted a spot we could have some privacy for them. This spot was flat, gentle trails that were manageable for our older pups, lots of shade, trees to use for a hammock and dog lines, etc. Can’t wait to come back one day!

We had such a relaxing stay at Tabitha’s property. The scenery is breathtaking, and the campsite is thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. Tabitha was incredibly welcoming and clearly puts a lot of care into making her guests feel at home, from the warm greeting to the thoughtful little extras. Everything was clean, peaceful, and well maintained, making it an easy place to unwind. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet escape with amazing views.

My family loved tent camping at Dorcus Hamlet! Tabitha’s property is beautiful and peaceful. Upon arrival, Tabitha met us at her gate and we followed her to the camping site. The site had picnic table, firewood, fresh water and much more. The outhouse was nice and clean too. Tabitha goes above and beyond…AMAZING host! She provided sweet gifts plus she has games there on site! So much to explore…it’s a must see! We will definitely be back. Thank you Tabitha!!

We had the most incredible stay here. The views are absolutely unmatched, and the entire property is so peaceful and serene—we truly couldn’t have asked for more.
Tabitha was a phenomenal host. She was super communicative and helpful both before and during our stay, and gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. The campsite setup was clean and incredibly well thought out. Even the outhouse felt like a total throne with a gorgeous view of its own! If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful getaway, this is it. We will definitely be back!

This is truly our favorite place to camp.. Tabitha has put in so much work and goes above and beyond to make sure it’s an amazing experience every time. And the outhouse is out of this world! This is an amazing site! Clean, well cared for, and relaxing. The view beckons you to grab a chair and relax. Too many details to mention but know that the “she shed” is stocked for your enjoyment. Tabitha is an enthusiast host who makes you feel welcome. This is a great place to relax, rejuvenate, and enjoy the outdoors. We will be back!

Tabitha has created a truly special place to find solitude, peace, and enjoy nature! We will be regulars here, she made us feel incredibly welcome. The fire pit is huge and has a grate for grilling. The toilet is accessible (with a ramp), clean, and has the best view for doing your business. The view from anywhere in the campsite is amazing, be sure to wake up for sunrise! Don’t leave without grabbing some fresh eggs and saying high to the local foxes and turkeys.

The View
When we first got there and drove up to the site we were escorted by a dozen deer. The view is aptly named as your camping at the top of a beautiful Ridgeline. Late at night you can see a distant City but you hear absolutely nothing. The stars shine brightly in this beautiful little retreat. The host was amazing. Nothing but great things to say about this location. We will definitely be going back.

This place is by far the quietest and the most private place I have stayed yet !! I had to work while I stayed here and deer and turkey’s greeted you every morning and every night ! The view is awesome! Tabitha the host is awesome and is clearly trying to make this place into something special!!

The View
We had such a great time we went back the very next weekend! Tabitha made it extra special for us since we had the kids and it was Easter weekend. It will be an unforgettable memory for all of us. We had an amazing picnic by the pond, a big beautiful fire…and you can’t get enough of the view and the peace and quiet!

Absolutely loved this spot and will 💯 be back. The views are incredible and the privacy is unmatched—felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Tons of wildlife (we saw several deer and wild turkeys!), and the property is fun to explore, including a peaceful pond nearby. Perfect place to unplug and relax by the massive fire pit!

This place us amazing!
From being surrounded by woods with a clearing to camp in . You can sit around the camp fire, watch the stars, or view the city lights. Your night will be filled.
Day time view is also amazing.
Even though you can look out over city you can't hear it.
