Plenty of parking for your tow vehicle and there is even a Ford dealership with Service department in walking distance. A featured walking path located across the street, nearby state parks and beaches. We are a full time traveling family and we created this RV lot to be everything we want when we stay here. *PLEASE NOTE* we are on a busy street that leads to the beaches and shopping so backing into the lot can be intimidating to newer RVers. Beautifully landscaped waterfront setting. 15 minutes to world famous Warm Mineral Springs and 35 minutes to Gulf beaches. Clean and orderly. No smoking, marijuana, heavy vaping or illicit drugs. 14 day limit per 6 months. Maximum RV length 25', no trailers (except for bikes and kayaks), no buses. No vehicles older than 2015 unless presentable and well maintained. Please include description of vehicles so I can determine placement. Considered a safe area. Trash and recycle bins, bench swing, outside seating and tables. Power is protected with a surge protector. Water is filtered from a well. The waterway offers fishing, small boating and wildlife watching. I have two friendly dogs that wander around off leash. Please don't allow them to access any of your or your pet's food. Visit econeato.org/host for list of other rules and very helpful info. The longer your stay, the more likely I will ask questions to understand compatibility as this is a residence. We had a good experience; the campsite is spacious and has plenty of shade. The bathroom was clean and close to our tent. John was very attentive. We had a problem with our inflatable mattress and had to buy a new one, but luckily, and very conveniently, there's a Walmart only 20 minutes away. The only thing we didn't like is that for us, the camping experience is about connecting with nature, but the constant noise of passing cars disrupted that connection. We would come back, but to a different campsite. Overall, we enjoyed it.

This spot was exactly what we were looking for. The amenities were great, electric hookup, water, and a bathroom with a shower, which made the stay very comfortable. The farm itself was adorable. The horses were beautiful, and we loved spotting a peacock wandering around the property. It was a short drive to the beaches, yet still far enough away to enjoy wonderfully dark skies for stargazing at night. We also enjoyed having nighttime fires, with firewood conveniently available for purchase on-site. Overall, it was a perfect little getaway for my partner, our pets, and me. We’d absolutely stay again.

John, his wife Patty, and son John are all so wonderful! Extremely family friendly with lots of activities if you have kids, and REAL dog lovers. If you're looking for the perfect peaceful relaxing getaway for ALL your family members look no further. Dogs are allowed off leash and our dog felt very much at home and happy to have so many new friends! We were so at peace we extended our stay. We had 2 different sites that I'd strongly recommend. The Hideaway was stellar and felt like a literal hideaway! Cute and tucked away with a shady spot with a hammock. Shadie Oaks was exactly how it sounds, wonderful and shady and an extra nice big space with plenty of room in the sun! Both spaces have a fire pit, some chairs, and a picnic table. You're not far from town to get more supplies or ice, but it feels like you're out in the middle of nowhere. Potable water isn’t available, but electric is provided and an amazing outdoor shower! Very nice bathroom as well. Highly recommend getting wood from them too. Got a huge bundles and well worth the price. It was a very pleasant stay. If peace, quiet, and relaxation is what you're looking for you've found THE place you NEED to stay. It helped going out on the river a few times as well. The kayak rentals are VERY reasonable. We had fun taking our dog out on the tandem kayak! Fixed us right up and we're looking forward to our next trip because we plan on visiting again in the future!

Amazing campsite! Very secluded with excellent privacy. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to accommodate us and our kids. The site was clean, well-maintained, and cozy, and our kids had a blast with all the campsite had to offer. Our kids love fishing, so this was an awesome spot for them. We also purchased the firewood add-on and were given plenty, which was much appreciated. We will definitely recommend this place to friends and look forward to coming back again.

My family had a great time at John’s camp and we were all sad to be leaving. The place was clean and well stocked. John was friendly and there if you needed him but, we never felt like we were being watched. My husband and I loved being able to take our daughter on the kayaks (which were a great price), my daughter loved the trampoline and plethora of swings, and our dog loved being able to lounge on the deck with the occasional visit from John’s dogs. Overall could not recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a quiet getaway especially if you enjoy being on the water.

My dog Marty and I had an awesome stay at Shell Creek—it’s truly a touch of old Florida! The campground sits right on a beautiful freshwater creek, and the peaceful setting made it easy to relax and enjoy nature. We stayed at Creekside Site B, which had a great view and plenty of shade.The hosts were fantastic—welcoming, helpful, and made sure everything was just right. It’s a place that feels genuine, quiet, and full of that classic Florida charm. I’ll definitely be recommending Shell Creek to friends, and Marty and I will be back for sure!

We know people throw around the phrase “crystal clear water” all the time — but with Fanning Springs, no description is more apt. The spring stays at a cool 72-degrees year round, thanks to the 65 million gallons of water it pumps in daily. And like we said, the water is as clear as a freshly-windexed window — which makes it super easy to spot the manatees that float into the spring from time to time. So don your swim goggles, snorkel, or full-on scuba gear and take a dip. When you’re ready to dry off, try exploring the park’s nearly mile-long hiking trail that winds through hearty hardwoods and pines. Just be sure to watch your step; you’ll spot quite a few small sinkholes along the trail, which were formed when underground caverns collapsed. Since the spring sits right off of the Suwannee River, it’s a super popular spot for paddlers to launch from. And pro tip: Fanning Springs in only seven miles away from Manatee Springs, so paddling from spring to spring on the river makes a great trip.
