We had a wonderful time staying at Los Pollitos Family farm❤️ The space had ample room and the family was kind and generous. Their children welcomed mine and made fast friends! Introducing them to the farm animals and showing them around. We were able to get fresh eggs from them and even left our camper a few days while we had business out of town to take care of. Everything was safe and secure and we genuinely enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Shawn and family for sharing your property with us on our adventures! We will try to come back 🫶🏻

Great place to stay especially if you have kids because they will have a great time interacting with the many farm animals they have. If you like fresh eggs from Chickens , ducks or quail they have them for sale at great prices. So don’t bring eggs ! The family are salt of the earth and have several children whom are very respectful and love to play with other kids. So if the parks are full as they usually are they are only 5-10 minutes away from Manatee Springs or Fanning Springs. Lots to do in this area and they are located in the center

We had a wonderful time here. This family is warm and welcoming, and our children had such a memorable experience. The animals are well cared for, and it was nice to have power and water for our RV. Centrally located to the springs, which were beautiful. We will likely return next year!

It was great camping there! So much fun to see n enjoy the farm life and all the animals! The hosts were great! Sheldon the turtle was so neat, and fresh eggs from the chickens was an added bonus! Great central location to the springs. I would definitely recommend this place, and I hope we can go again some day!

We had a wonderful time at the farm. The location is perfect for going to the springs, close enough to town for any necessities, but far enough to see the beautiful stars at night. Whenever we needed anything, Shawn and his family were quick to respond and incredibly helpful. They take great care of their animals and I loved having the opportunity to get some fresh eggs for our stay. I hope to stay here again next time I’m in the area!

Vanessa and her family are lovely and came out to greet me warmly when I arrived. There's a nice level spot to park, a good electric hookup, and water if you need it. This place appears to be a working homestead, so there are goats, chickens, ducks, geese, dogs, human kids, and sheep--some wander around, some are penned (not the human kids). This would be a wonderful stop if you have children. It's a peaceful spot and was a terrific break from the road. Thanks, Vanessa and family!

Nice camp setup with plenty of room, the privacy toilets were a nice touch and they supplied a water reservoir. The area is great for seeing stars.

The hosts were very kind and the campsite was great! It was fun waking up to see the animals and getting to meet them on the farm tour. The fresh eggs were amazing! We had plenty of privacy at our site and it was clean and well kept. Was a great stay while we were here viewing the springs.

We absolutely loved it Veronica was super nice and friendly and so were the kids and very informative on their farm animals unfortunately we had to leave early due to the hurricane but will definitely return. Thanks you for everything and for the Easter eggs 😁

My grandkids and I had a wonderful stay . We felt right at home with Shawn and his beautiful family. They were very kind and helpful.
We stayed several days on their property, which was absolutely perfect. They have all kinds of animals, some even came to visit us everyday, like Clair (little red hen) . At night , the owl sung us to sleep.
I couldn't have asked for a safer place to take my grandkids.

Thanks to Shawn, his wife and family, and the 2 pups and several chickens I briefly met for a short but amazing stay.
They were quick to respond to messages and had everything ready to go as soon as I arrived.
The site is behind the main house (you have to pass through 2 gates), so it feels extra secluded, safe, and private.
The site is nice and shady, which is a + in the FL heat. There are chairs, picnic table, fire pit, firewood, “toilets” - picture a bucket w a seat in a privacy pod (which I found to be great cause I didn’t have to use mine!), and the bonus - foot pump sink! Not potable, so bring drinking water. But not having to set up a sink/hand washing spot was great.
Manatee Springs and Fanning Springs are both 10 min away, and Cedar Key is about 40min away. I did all three in one day (spending a couple hours exploring/snorkeling in both state parks).
Oh. And they’re a farm. And they have eggs (you should buy them to support). And the eggs were hand delivered to me in the morning by their son. Nice touch…
Also, I t’s a farm. Expect to hear roosters and dogs.

We visited Shawn and Veronica’s farm as part of a trip with BSA T2115. We had a wonderful time at the farm; very peaceful, well maintained property. This family has very hard working parents and beautiful children that were very excited to show us their animals and gardens.
We will definitively come back if we visit Crystal River again. Highly recommended!!

We went during thanksgiving with a couple of friends and family for 3 days. The host and their adorable kids made us feel comfortable and showed us to the property as soon as we arrived. We saw free-roaming chickens, ducks, and turkeys and we got our fresh eggs for breakfast. Toward the end of our camp, they even added a pair of pigs! We had a great time. The campsite is very private and quiet just like we wanted. The host was accommodating to our needs and responds promptly. We hope to come back again and highly recommended it.

Shawn and his wife couldn’t have been more lovely, patient and communicative. Fantastic hoses who had everything I could possibly need set up and waiting - fire ring with plenty of wood and chairs, picnic table, private and clean potty (not your plastic building kind! Very cute and clean) and even a station for washing up. All under a canopy of old oaks and Spanish moss and a TON of space. Loved my visit and will be back!

What a nice family! We were greeted by one of their sons who was very sweet. They set up a private spot for us with a portapotty, a picnic table and a portable sink for hand washing. The camping spot was on sand It was about 40 minutes from Cedar Key where we paddled and close to Manatee and Fanning Springs and the Nature Coast bike trail.

We really enjoyed our stay at Los Pollitos Family Farm. Our host’s were very welcoming and helpful and it was located where we were able to do lots of things we had planned in the area! We wished for better weather but other than that had a wonderful time.

I cannot recommend this camp enough! The hosts and their children were so amazing! Very accommodating and kind. We had everything we needed for a very fun and exciting camping trip. From home cooked breakfast to petting all the farm animals, including a turkey! The kids loved it and their children were the best little tour guides and extremely knowledgeable about their animals they raise. Also we bought some eggs home with us because they were so good. The best I’ve ever eaten. Store bought cannot even compare. The land was beautiful and well manicured by Shawn. A lot of beautiful trees and shade, perfect for tent camping even in this Florida heat, and being 7 months pregnant I was very comfortable. Please consider supporting this young family and their camp. It is well worth the trip out. There are beautiful, clear blue springs 10 minutes from their home we swam in. Perfect for the hot days! The kids had a blast, so much, they haven’t shut up talking about it since leaving hahah!

The site was beautiful! It was secluded and private but close enough to the hosts for if we needed anything. It was the perfect location to visit all the nearby springs. The hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable and we would love to come back in the future!

Shawn and Victoria have a beautiful property that made for a perfect campsite. They were incredible hosts, providing everything we needed and more, and their children were wonderful tour guides. Manatee and Fanning Springs are both less than 10 minutes away so the location is also ideal! Prefect way to see the springs without dealing with the crowded campsites at the state parks.

It was a clean and quiet area. The family with 4 kids were very friendly.
So were the two dogs Tiny and Digger. We became their friends from the start. Veronica and the children gave us a tour so we could learn about chickens, ducks, turkeys etc. In the end we bought some duck and turkey eggs and baked them for lunch on the way to our next stop. The taste of those fresh eggs was great. During our stay we went to the manatee springs by bicycle and the second day we hit some balls at the close by golf course of Chiefland, which was only 15 minutes by bike. We really recommend this camp for your stay.
