I could not have asked for anything else. James met me at the property just as I was walking in and explained all of the local spots to me. Plenty of grassy space was there, as well as a canopy, potable water, and the composting toilet. There were some mosquitoes, but some bug repellent did the trick.

In all, the environment was perfect. I slept in a hammock and didn't even use my tent. There wasn't a single noise during the night except for the frogs and occasional squirrel on a tree branch. If you can get out here during a clear night, do it...the stars are AMAZING.

I took this picture from my hammock. It was like this all evening!

James and Patricia were a pleasure to chat with and super helpful. The campsite was clean and secluded, and we were treated to some excellent star gazing. The canopy was very nice to have on our last morning when it was drizzling a bit. We didn't see any mosquitos; not sure if it was the time of year or just that all of the dragonflies were keeping them in check.

All in all it was a great spot and we would definitely camp there again.

Beautiful, quiet, spacious site. We met the owner, James, who was wonderful and provided many local recommendations. We would definitely go back and recommend to friends.

Very nice little site, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating.
The pond had newts and frogs to enjoy, and on our walk back from the car at night we were up close and personal with a deer who was not afraid (or angry).
Thanks to the gracious hosts.

The campsite was great and pretty spacious. Not far off the road but tucked away between trees and next to little pond full of salamanders. And tons of birds- even saw a heron fly overhead. Good option if you don’t want to travel too far out of the Portland area

The site was absolutely beautiful and we loved being so secluded. We saw bluejays and heard lots of wildlife wach night. We spent most of our day in Cannon Beach and came back to the site pretty late at night. Getting the camping gear to and from the campsite from our car was the biggest struggle for us just because we had so many things. But other than that we loved our stay!

We had a great camping at Coast Range Serenity. Very Private camp site with a beautiful view of the pond! Trails around the campsite are full of wild flowers. Very pretty! Hosts are very nice and friendly so as their dog!
It was our first HIPCAMP and glad we chose this place.

I was super impressed with how quiet and picturesque the campsite was, and how gracious the hosts were to provide a table, easy-up and water. It's definitely one of the most unique spots I've landed outside of remote camping.

Only thing to note: come prepared with bug spray if you're a mosquito target.

The clearing for stars behind camp was also an A+. This spot sure lives up to its name. Will always consider it when I'm headed that way!
