Nestled in the heart of Giles County, our campground stands out as a unique family-run retreat, rooted in over 40 years of history as a sawmill and logging operation. Since 1976, our family has called this beautiful area home, and although we no longer operate the sawmill, we are dedicated to providing a welcoming space for family adventures in the mountains we cherish. Our campground is designed with families in mind—both ours and yours. Having grown up in this picturesque region, we are passionate about giving back to the community while sharing our love for camping and the great outdoors. After dedicating over 29 years to service in the U.S. Army, we returned to Ripplemead to transform our childhood property into a campground that offers ample space for exploration and relaxation. We invite you to experience the stunning mountains and exhilarating whitewater of Giles County. Enjoy the warm hospitality of our community, where friendly locals and beautiful landscapes await. We can't wait to welcome you as you pull into our driveway and start your adventure with us!
