Amazing location with panoramic views of the Vermont Green Mountain range, this property adjoins a public 9 hole golf course. Located on over 260 private and secluded acres, property also has a 2 acre pond for swimming, paddling or just relaxing. There are several miles of maintained hiking trails meandering throughout the forest, ranging from an easy walk, to hilly and somewhat challenging. Many varieties of tent locations or places to park an RV, pop up, or car. This is considered a "Primitive camp site". There is no shower, toilet or electric available at this time, but well water can be had from our residence, via a hose spigot on the side of our home. This is our 3rd year of hosting, and due to the overwhelming popularity of having an abundance of privacy, we will continue to be only hosting one party at a time. Which means you'll get the privilege of not having to share your surroundings with anyone else! Your own private camp ground! We are hoping this all works out and intend to continuously improve amenities, activities and overall experience. We are hoping to provide an exceptional value and experience that will bring back repeat campers, that we can trust and build a rapport. We are looking forward to meeting you! There will be a picnic table, two Adirondack chairs, and a firepit on site, for your convenience. Beautiful Views and Very Private!

We loved this spot! It had amazing views and we walked around the property some and enjoyed seeing the lake. It was a bit cold this time of year but made a fire and the most of it! My daughter loved meeting Gypsy the cat. The RV was very level and no issues getting here. Thanks again!

Quiet Hilltop Getaway

Very peaceful and relaxing site at the top of the hill with great views overlooking the valley. The host was responsive to all questions and was very friendly. We stayed in mid april so the nights were a bit chilly but we did make use of the huge fire pit for cooking and warmth. The grounds are a naturally undulating hill so make sure to have a few level blocks handy! I expect on clear nights the stars are great, although for us it was snowing haha! Definitely a great location for a quiet getaway.

What a beautiful property! The view was wonderful! It was easy to find a pretty flat spot, leveled out in no time. We LOVE hip camps where you have the whole place to yourself. Peaceful and private. Weather was chilly when we stayed but the pond would be refreshing in the summer I'm sure. Evan was quick to respond to questions.

Evan’s property is beautifully situated and well kept. My three dogs enjoyed romping around in the grassy fields and loved the trails. We even saw a porcupine in the woods! The views of the mountains are so beautiful and it was truly such a relaxing weekend. We would love to return in the summer when we can really utilize the pond!

We are so grateful for the opportunity to stay on Evan’s land. The views are unbelievable. We enjoyed a swim and boat in the pond in the back and walked a few of the short trails. Honestly this experience was one we will remember forever. Definitely book it!

The perfect getaway

Incredible property, so serene and peaceful. Great for an active afternoon hiking their local trails or simply sitting and enjoying the stunning view. Not to mention we had AMAZING stars last night, very little light pollution made for fantastic viewing. They were welcoming of our pets as well! Worth every penny, Evan and his partner were absolutely lovely. Definitely stay here!!

This place is what is cool about Hip Camp. Getting to spend time in a place like this is one of those rare life experiences that will change everything forever. As the other reviews have said, it’s special. Sacred. Evan is an incredible host and super nice guy. His land is precious and it is an honor to have been able to share. The views, the solitude, the beauty, the pond (!!) the hammock, everything about it is next level. Hip Camp should use this place for Hip Camp commercials. Truly. If you can book some time here, do it, do it, do it! We can’t say enough about this place.

My friends and I loved to be able to enjoy Evan’s land for our 4th of July trip! Although we weren’t able to meet Evan in person he was very easy to get ahold of for any questions we had and even assisted us in removing a bag of garage for us as we didn’t have room in our vehicles for all of it. The views were incredible, plenty of fireworks to see from the site which were awesome to experience. The pond was perfect for our dogs and us for cooling down during our stay and there was so much room for the dogs to play fetch and run around. Overall a great trip for us with great weather and even better views thanks to the hospitality of Evan! Our first hipcamp trip but definitely won’t be our last! Thank you Evan!!

Evan's site has a breathtaking view of the Green Mountains, and there are trails around the property perfect for taking a relaxing nature walk. We saw dozens of orange salamanders on our walk, my son was amazed! There is a pond nearby with a floating dock and provided kayaks, and a smaller frog pond that was really hoppin'. The provided picnic table and the chairs near the fire pit were a welcome addition to the site. Evan is a great host and made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Gorgeous hilltop view! More space than imaginable. Very nice adirondack chairs and picnic table to take in the scenery and relax. Host was accommodating and explained directions well- he even called the day of to go over things and see if we might need anything before we arrived. We woke up to the peaceful sounds of nature and the mist of the clouds rising in the distance. If you think the photos online are beautiful, in person is even better! It was a 5 star Hipcamp experience!

An absolutely magical spot! Evan and his wife were incredibly kind, and their property boasts some of the best Hipcamp views we've ever experienced. Our dog loved running free in the field, and we had a fantastic evening paddle on the pond. I highly recommend this place to anyone considering a visit!
