Truly a great as spot with easy access to the 101. Property was as advertised, structure felt stable, and beautiful views. Host's dogs were behaved, just a little startled by Vader at first. Definitely recommend this to serious campers in the colder months as there is no heat or portapotty. Will return here for sure.

We loved the treehouse! Small, but could fit 4 people cozy. Enjoyed all the deer that came by our place, and the restroom was so clean we were all so shocked and happy! Thank you for an amazing time!

As another reviewer mentioned, there was dog poop everywhere. It smelled and was difficult to avoid in the dark. The property and campsite were also difficult to find. Both google and Apple Maps took me to the wrong location. When I entered the address it took me to the wrong street. There were no check-in instructions included which exacerbated the difficulty.

While the stinking pile of garbage overflowing next to the outhouse was charming, the real frosting on the cake was getting out of my car and stepping in a fresh pile of dog crap, only to realize there was dog crap all over the campsite. Dried, soft, smooshed into the grass, you name it. Since there was no table I was forced to put my stuff on the ground. I did my best to pick up all the crap I could, and had to wash my stuff off after. And, BTW, if there’s a burn ban please don’t tell me it’s OK to have a fire.
I do expect Hipcamps to be at least as nice as campgrounds, considering the cost. Most hosts take pride in their land and offer a nice spot. Not the case here.

Staircase is rickety and splintery, no screens on the windows, sprayed with obviously toxic stuff stinking up the small sleeping space. Port-a potty was clean enough but there was trash overflowing a huge trash can. The ground was uneven and just not a nice place to stay.

The overflowing trash, no welcome, dangerous steps, sagging mattress, trip hazards, and lack of screened windows convinced us we didn’t need to stay there. After 10 minutes, we left to find other camping and I returned only to gather our belongings as quickly as possible. Sorry, but it was by far the worst Hipcamp I’ve ever seen.

Cute eagle nest treehouse. My kiddos loved it and are already asking to go back. Definitely worth it to make it to the river. Swimming in the river was amazing. Wish the other campers had picked up their trash. We carried our trash out but there was a giant pile of trash by the porta potty.

It’s a nice quiet site, we found the little secret trail leads towards the river, we had a great time. The “get direction” button on Hipcamp app will lead you to a different location tho, you’ll have to put in the address manually to get it right

I enjoyed this campsite! It was easily accessible for our Olympic National Park trip - easy to find the porta potty was clean and enough information was provided to not feel anxious arriving at night! Would stay here again if I’m ever in the area.

Overall, we had a really great time! The treehouse was really clean, along with the outhouse, and it was exactly as described on the listing. The property is beautiful and the trees were gorgeous. That being said, the stairs were a bit unnerving and the mattress sleeps like a mattress on the floor. Again, overall this treehouse was great and we really enjoyed our stay.

Cool spot! We had the place to ourselves (no additional tent campers in the area) and it’s tucked away so you have a nice peaceful getaway that’s still close to town. The treehouse is sturdy and seems well built.
There were 3 functioning electric candles and a little switch plate thing that gave off some light but we brought lanterns up which helped a lot. The windows do not have screens so I could see if getting hot if you wanted to avoid letting the bugs in, but it stayed pretty cool in there for us.
Cool little path to the river, definitely worth checking out!

My kiddo wanted to stay in a treehouse, and this place fulfilled that desire beautifully! The landscape is lovely, and the treehouse is as described! The port o potty was literally the cleanest I’ve ever seen in all my 52 years—thank u, Heidi!
My advice is to read the information carefully so that u know to bring ur own bedding and be ready to make ur bed when u get there—no big deal. It is a place with animals, so watch out for piles of poo scattered about!
On the whole, we’re stoked to come back sometime—I recommend it happily!

I loved camping in my van on Heidi's land. My van is a little high to get to the tent site because of beautiful hanging cedar branches which make the tent site a magical little spot. Because no one was in the eagles nest tree house I was able to park next to it. The tree house is close to tent site but there is privacy. It's well worth walking through the forest yo the river! I would have spent more time there if I could have. The Porto potty was spotless. You can hear road noise but property is well set back. This was my first hipcamp experience. I loved feeling safe and private. Thanks Heidi!

We loved the location. Nearby gas station, 7min drive to dwntwn Seqium. River was a really nice touch to the site, it was a squat crawl in some moments, but we enjoyed the experience. Sweet fire pit and peaceful time. Only con was the dog poop scattered around our site on arrival. Thankful for clean porta john and trash cans.

Quiet spot at the back of the property. The treehouse is close by, but there is a good screen of vegetation between the two sites. I enjoyed the river sounds as a backdrop; only heard highway sounds when sirens were going by. While it is a bushwhack to get to the river, there is a small side channel just a short, easy stroll from the site where my dogs enjoyed a splash each day. Porta potty was clean but out of TP, and the trash cans were full. I didn't need either so didn't contact the host, but I expect they would get right on it if someone let them know.

The treehouse was rustic and fun! We had a great stay, and enjoy the peace and quiet, and the childlike fun of climbing up to a treehouse to sleep at night. Good location close to downtown Sequim.

The treehouse is great!! Simple, but beautiful looking out the window at the maple leaves and blue sky. We just threw out a sheet on the mattress and then our sleeping bags and pillows. Very cute. My wife and I loved it. Thanks, Heidi!
ADVICE: Getting there is tricky though so heed my advice: Google map Traxinger Trl, Sequim WA exactly. That is the correct road. The Hipcamp map address put us somewhere random in the middle of sequim, and Traxinger Trail (spelled out fully) puts you on the next road over.

Overall site was nice. Fire pit had a grill. Outhouse was clean.
Really depends on your purpose. We used it as base camp and went exploring the coast to Cape Flattery. If you are camping there and that is it then you might be disappointed.
There is a treehouse site that was is right next our site. There was a group that had kids and did a birthday party. We could here baby crying at night.
If you are staying there the whole weekend then it might not be for you. Not much to do there.
Could not find access to river as shown in pictures. Messaged Heidi and she responded quickly to cross the creek and go through the woods. We decided we did not want to get wet going through the creek to get to river.
Wish there was a bridge to get over creek, and an obvious way to get to river.
For us the camp site was nice. We were only there couple hours during the day in the morning. We were mainly there at night around campfire.
This was our first hip camping experience. It was a fun weekend. Host was easy to work with and responded quickly to questions.
