Quality Campsite, lots of activitie
I went camping for the first time as an adult with two young kiddos and other family. We were told it could fit 4 tents but we fit more that we brought just in case we could use them. We were told potable water but realized it is actually a high quality filter on the water. We were told the bathroom was pretty far away but when we got there he had installed another outhouse recently and it smelled mainly of cedar it was so new. They checked the bathrooms daily to fill back up the high quality TP. They had swings you could find around and a boat and canoe on a small pond you could use. There was a close by waterfall that you could walk or drive to. Up two steep hills from the waterfall is a gorgeous cliff with a great view we accidentally found trying to find the waterfall. The fire pits had a rotating grate on it to add more fire when up or cook on it when down. Tyler, the owner, drove around daily I think just to make sure there was quality control which made me feel better about it.
Only cons: it has tics in the area but if you're careful that's fine. It's kinda humid, yeah a little uncomfortable on the warmer days but you forget about it and if you have a good sleeping bag it is just fine, which we did. I told him of a noise complaint and Tyler responded immediately and he said he preferred no music.
So we caught salamanders, swung over a creek, saw a waterfall, hiked up to and saw a huge lookout, collected local firewood, and had loads of fun. I would go back.
