I really enjoyed staying at Windy’s Stargazer truck. It was quiet, peaceful and beautiful. We really appreciated the additional kitchen items in the community kitchen area. Would stay here again!

Their site was a perfect spot for us to start and end our days. They provided everything we needed to be comfortable. It happened that when we stayed it was the "hottest days of the year so far" and so we spent most of our day time away checking out sites etc. Id love to come back during some cooler days so that I can spend more time at the camp.
Hosts were very responsive to any questions I had along the way. Would book here again if I return to the area.

Had a great time. Windy was very responsive and helpful. Went to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. Secluded but not too far from town. Very cute and accommodating. Would definitely book again.

We loved camping here. We brought all of our camping supplies because we were coming from another camping trip in Anza-Borrego. We barely used any of our other camping supplies because everything else was taken care of for us. The communal kitchen and shower was amazing. My friend had fun laying on the lounge chairs and exploring the area. I really liked the truck that we slept in and the composting toilet really came in handy. We ended up having to leave a little bit early because of work things, but I am very grateful for the time that we spent there.The overall vibe of the area is amazing and I would highly recommend this camping spot for anyone who enjoys the desert, but needs some creature comforts.

Devine Stargaze Truck
I loved this truck. It was so cozy, and it felt like luxury on a long camping trip not to have to set up all my own gear. The communal space has everything you need to cook, and the truck was so comfortable with amazing personality. Had been considering tent camping in the area and was very glad I didn’t- it would’ve been tough with the wind! Plus the truck provided shade and a wind block during the day to lounge in the chairs provided. Can’t recommend this enough!

Devine Stargaze Truck
Beautiful open land with gorgeous sunsets and stargazing. There are other trailers in the same vicinity, but they are far enough away that you basically have the space to yourself. We brought a propane fire pit to use, but there is a large private fire pit provided if you have room to bring firewood. Also a basic outdoor kitchen area with running water, soap, cast iron, dishes and silverware, propane outdoor stove, and shower area (complete with propane) which I did not get a chance to use. Amazing vibes all around. It got chilly at night, but there were plenty of blankets and pillows provided along with a small propane heater for use inside the truck. Be sure you are close with who you are camping with as the composting toilet (bucket with wood chips and a toilet seat) is on the deck next to the entrance to the truck, but who’s watching?! 💁♀️

The Stargaze Truck is adorable!! Such an amazing desert vibe, it really added a magical aspect to our trip.
The only word of caution is to really think about the weather ... It got very cold when we stayed here, making it not a super enjoyable stay. We were supplied all the blankets in the world and a propane heater (thank you!!) and we were still a bit chilly.
Other than that, I would recommend!

My goodness did this place deliver above and beyond my already high expectations. This was a surprise getaway for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was more than perfect. He said this was the best birthday he’s ever had.
This place was the perfect balance of rustic and comfort. Our host Moira definitely did her due diligence providing us with a variety helpful tools. There was even a portable generator in case you might be worried about charging things. One thing worth mentioning is the bathroom situation. There is no plumbing system, but they do provide dry toilet with sawdust to add into it. Was not a problem for us but it would be good to consider if that is something you would be comfortable with. With that being said, we would definitely come back and stay longer and recommend it as well.

Windy’s spot was such a great site to call base during the holiday weekend. Very cozy and romantic. Plenty of blankets were provided so did not get cold at all during our stay! Special touches/details throughout the property made exploring so fun and whimsical!

One of the best stays I've had in Joshua Tree! There were plenty of amenities for us, and the kitchen and cookware were a huge plus as we forgot some of our own things during our last-minute packing.
The groundskeeper was helpful and attentive, and Windy was quick to respond to our questions as well! Thanks so much.

Staying at the truck was awesome for our one night stay in JT! Everything was as described and Windy was super quick to respond to any questions I had. All essentials were provided which makes things super easy. It was a tight fit but myself and two kids (7 and 10) were able to fit in the bed. Beautiful stars at night.

My boyfriend and I had a great experience on Windy’s site. She put so much thought and creativity into the site and we really felt like we were in a special, beautiful place. Only downside is it is not exactly remote so be aware of that, and our last night we did hear neighbors playing loud music. However, it was mostly quiet with a gorgeous view of desert hills and sky. Very comfy but bring extra padding, loved this place!

We absolutely loved our stay, the truck is equipped with everything that one would need to camp. We were able to see the Milky Way galaxy so clearly without any telescope or any other equipment. The truck is in the best location. It’s perfect for the couple and also the host is very kind and accommodating with your requests.

Very quiet despite the road nearby - maybe 4 cars came in 3 days, and they drive slow because of the sand. The truck is exactly as shown, I did bring my own pad because of a past review, and that turned out perfect. Very nice water supply for shower and bathtub. Very nice place just to chill.

The tubs were everything and the shade lounge was such a tranquil space. We had no active neighbors so it was very to ourselves. Bring tea candles!

This place was fun and we had a great time.
The stars really come out at night. We weren’t super prepared for the heat, so cut our trip a little early. If you are going in the summer prepare for it!

Had a wonderful time staying here so that I could go to Joshua Tree NP. The camper itself was really cute. Pretty dang hot during the day, but that’s to be expected for the area. Could maybe use a bug net around the bed.
Scott, who stays there to mind the property, was so incredibly kind and helpful any time I had a question or issue. Would absolutely stay here again.

Drove back out here for a mid week getaway and it was magical. Be sure to take advantage of the outdoor bath! Sunrise soak with coffee. Magic.

This is was a magical place to be a desert mermaid. Saw 3 shooting stars from the outdoor bath tub after a day in Joshua Tree National Park. Windy was a kind and responsive host. The property is aesthetically beautiful and you will find charming pieces of magic everywhere if your eyes are open. Truly a special experience

We really enjoyed our stay! This spot reminds me of camping but one step removed so you have a few amenities. The proximity to Joshua tree makes this a fantastic base for anyone wanting to explore the area. Cannot stress ice and cold things enough tho they will get you through in the summer.
