The property is made up of Piñon and Juniper Trees along with sage brush. There is incredible views from camping area . The Natives say this was an ancient hunting grounds and I can see why There is tons of wildlife around. It’s very quiet and peaceful out except when the coyotes are howling at night lol. The forest entrance is just down the rd and on the nw side of me is all public land although the only thing you will see on it is a few cows and wildlife. The sunsets are amazing. Follow us on IG @grandcanyonfarms Learn more about this land: We are approx 22 miles from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.. We have great Views of the San Francisco PeakS and Red Butte. This is located right in the middle of unit 9 if you’re a hunter. Our closest neighbor is about Mile away. We have a 1 mile hiking trail. There is plenty of wildlife around Deer Elk and many more . You can access the forest just down the rd from us. This is a true off grid experience we have lived out here for 7 years now and just love it. There is a lot of Native American History in the area and have found many arrowheads. There is very little traffic once you go past first two miles so it’s nice and quiet out here. We look forward to meeting you and thank you for considering. There is a few rough spots so just take it slow.

Grand Canyon unplugged Red Butte
It was nice to have a quiet campsite away from the crowds, but still have close proximity to the Grand Canyon! Our site had plenty of trees to shelter us from the wind and sun, with a nice picnic table and fire-pit. Christian was so sweet and checked on us a couple of times, and provided us with a stack of wood foraged within the area. The pit toilet has a seat on it, with lighting, toilet paper and wet wipes provided. The drive to the site is a rather bumpy one - about 4 miles of unpaved road that only gets graded a couple times of year, so 4-wheel drive is a must!

Site 1 - Grand Canyon Unplugged
Even though we only got to stay 1 night out of our booked two, the stay was wonderful. It is about as secluded as it gets, in the best way possible. Each site has what you need for RV camping or tent camping. Christian was a great host, super communicative and very helpful. The only caveat I would add is that the road to get there is definitely rough. Christian mentions that in the listing, but I think it is a bit understated. Especially if you are in an RV. Car/SUV would've been rough but doable. RV felt borderline dangerous at times. Other than that, it's a perfect spot to kick your feet up under the stars and camp the night away after a day at the canyon.

Grand Canyon Unplugged Sunset View
Camping: Sunset View in a Woodland
The campground provides nicely spread out sites in a handsome Pinyon-Juniper woodland. The site included a very nice picnic table, stone fire ring and very even ground. The view of the sunset is magnificent! The campground is not far off 64 on a nice broad dirt road. However, keep in touch with Christian (host) about the simple directions to drive there- GPS will not get you there! Christian was so nice and went above and beyond to help us when we used GPS and needed assistance. 45 minute drive on 64 N to the Village in the Grand Canyon.

Grand Canyon Unplugged Sunset View
Family camping
I really enjoyed my time at Christian’s campground. The campsites are private (plenty of space btw each) and there was plenty of firewood available. Christian is very kind and provided great insight to any questions you may have. Please follow his directions carefully and try to get there before nightfall. Wish we could have stayed longer.
