Our campground has been operating for years, This is a NEW listing with the same management! ONLY PROPANE CAMP STOVES ALLOWED FISHING IS CATCH AND RELEASE! BARBLESS HOOKS We do shut fires down if the county restricts them on a county wide basis but currently it’s allowed! Retreat at The Goldbar Ranch is nestled in the heart of the Wild West, offering a one-of-a-kind experience for those seeking adventure, relaxation, and connection. This beautiful campground offers endless opportunities for fun and relaxation. Take a dip in the refreshing water, cast for huge fish in the stocked pond (catch and release, Barbless hooks please!), or enjoy a peaceful evening roasting marshmallows by the campfire with friends and family. Amazing location to get away! It was a pretty view. Be aware it’s not in an area of hiking trails but a great area to enjoy peace and quiet. Having bathrooms and a shower is a nice touch for me personally. Mike came over and was nice to check in, and we had some cow friends 🐮

The lake view from RV/tent site #3 was amazing! This was my grandson's first time camping and he had so much fun swimming in the lake, riding on my SUP, riding his bike around camp, and playing in the dirt!

Property was awesome! Seriously a hidden gem. Fishing was great and it was quiet and clean! We meet the owner Mike before we left and he was super genuine and awesome to talk to! We are 100% rebooking again! 🙏🏼

The property is fantastic. The lake is beautiful. We were disappointed with the site we chose (#7). Not all tent sites have fire pit or table. We would not have knowingly booked a site without a fire pit or table. The photos were a bit misleading, showing table and fire rings. While the listing says Gold Bar Ranch, the property is NOT where the sign says Gold Bar Ranch. The entrance is a little further down the road and has a sign that says Bed & Breakfast Campground. We decided to leave early. If you have a camper this is an awesome property. They do have nice clean bathrooms.

We had a really good time on the pond and rope swing. Working Flushable toilets and a shower too. Our site had electric for our RV which was nice. Lots of big trees too!

This campsite was perfection. We came out here on a whim for Memorial Day weekend and didn’t really know what to expect, but wow, we had an absolute blast! The rope swing was so fun to use to cool down in the water - which was so refreshing, not too cold at all! There is even a bathroom/shower! If you stay up late enough, the stars are so bright out there too. A super peaceful & quiet campsite, we will absolutely be coming back again to escape the heat in Phoenix !!

The pros: Good clean bathrooms, great little lake with paddle boat for use by campers. The owners came by and checked in twice. The cons: it was hard to find. Not sure why they don’t post a pic of the entrance so you know what to look for. We stayed at RV site 2. There was no picnic table, and there was highish grass with stickers that stuck to our shoes and socks. These was basically no shade either. Also, they imposed a wood fire ban which they texted us the day we got there about so we didn’t have time to prepare. That said, the other sites had shade and picnic tables and seemed to be mowed. I think we just got unlucky with our particular spot.

The view of the pond is amazing. Very quiet and relaxing. We love that it’s small and private. The bathroom and shower facacilty’s are a must for us. They were in good working order and clean. We love Mike and this is our favorite place to camp! /

Beautiful little spot, nice and quiet.the rope swing is great for the kids. Caught plenty of fish. We were in a 5th wheel but there are clean restrooms with running water on site.

WOW! I hesitate leaving the review that this place DESERVES because then everyone WOULD want to camp there! Mike and his daughter are wonderfully nice! The campsight is amazing to say the least! It has EVERYTHING we desire and more than we thought of! This is our new GO-TO camping place! Thank you to Mike for welcoming us to and allowing us to have a very memorable, much needed time as a family!

Great clean campground ! The restrooms are a plus ! Super easy to get to and is a good jump off point to explore the area and the fishing is great! We caught 3 species largemouth bass, bluegill & catfish there is some big catfish in the pond for sure!

Loved everything about this place. Clean, safe and fun. My kiddo enjoyed tent camping for the first time, we used the paddle boat there, went fishing, sat by the fire and basked in the peace and quiet. I thought I made a mistake by not choosing a weekend were the weather was perfect but it helped us have the whole place to ourselves the whole time. Definately coming back with both kiddos next time.
