Caledon State Park

The towering trees and paintbrush stroke leaves of Caledon State Park will have you seeing green. Lace up those well-worn boots and trek one of ten designated trails designated for hiker's feet only. Four multi-purpose trails offer the opportunity to bike through the picturesque marshlands and scenic wooded areas that characterize the park. Fishing may not be available at Caledon Marsh or James Pond, but a short trip to Potomac River will remedy that. If you're looking for a slice of history, hop over to the nearby town of Fredericksburg, where the King George County Museum calls the town its home. As the leaves turn to a brilliant red and orange, Caledon State Park is the ideal spot to enjoy nature at its finest.
