We really enjoyed the a-frame in the meadow. Having access to the bathroom was also a huge plus, and it was close by.

Well, maintained A frame in the middle of a large meadow. The owner Josh was very pleasant, accommodating and knowledgeable.
In hindsight, I would have brought a thick mattress cover for the camping cot, and a small portable battery powered fan. I purchased some earplugs from the local hardware store to stop the noise of the bugs during the night!!!!!
Overall, a very pleasant experience in a well positioned campsite, the facilities were spotless.

Primitive Camp Spot (meadow)
What a cool spot off of Aska Rd.! It rained during my stay but I didn’t have any issues with flooding or staying dry. The creek sound is very peaceful, and the deer roam the large field at night. Be ready for some serious stargazing!

This is an absolutely lovely place. It has five platforms and you can choose which one to put your tent on. The platforms are next to a small creek and under big trees, the perfect place for a good night sleep.. My husband thought we would be hot at night because it was summer, but the mountains provide a pleasant climate for sleeping. The campground has 2 outdoor showers and an indoor bathroom, and the best part is that it's extremely quiet and safe. We were amazed because we were completely alone; no one else was camping. The place is near the town of Blue Ridge, Tammen Park, and Blue Ridge Lake. There is also a bike shop and a place to wash bikes although we did not do any biking this time. I absolutely recommend it!

We loved our stay here. It was pretty slow for the weekend we were there. Might be a bit crowded if it were full but you would still have your own little section of the creek if you stayed at one of the platforms. We did see a bear our first night by the bathrooms but it left us alone.
Overall a great place to stay, and close to the lake!

I loved camping on Josh‘s land. I do a lot of primitive camping so the indoor plumbing this was a nice change. The bathroom and shower were fabulous. Hot water is amazing. I camp with my dogs so having the outdoor shower to bathe them after a long day of hiking was also nice. The location is close to many trailheads. The campsites along the tree line allow the campsite to be shaded most of the day, but then you have open field to charge solar generators, etc.

This is a great place to camp! Josh and his wife are wonderful hosts and the bathroom and showers are very nice and clean. We had our two young girls with us and they were able to run around with little worry about cars and other hazards, which was so much fun! You cant beat the convenience to the trails, too!

Was a beautiful property, love the platforms. The bathroom facilities were very nice and clean. Was so quiet and everyone was very respectful. We had a great time. The host answered questions quickly through the chat and explained everything thoroughly. Loved sleeping by the peaceful little creek.

I've booked a few sites off Hipcamp and this one was by far my favorite! The land was peaceful and quiet, good location to town about 10 minutes, the bathroom on site exceed my expectations! I will be back hands down!

The Ridge is a perfect destination for tent, hammock or vanlife camping in the heart of the hiking and biking region in North Georgia.
The campsites are quiet and dispersed with excellent bath access amenities. And the location is immediately adjacent to the best trails N. Georgia has to offer.

Never saw the camp host, that i know of.. Bathroom was new and nice, but after a short shower, water would start to come up central bathroom drain. When renting tent camp site, it is first come first serve. Some noise from distant main road. Just a field with some tent platforms, 1 A frame, and what looks like A Nice VRBO.

The Ridge at Stanley Gap was beautiful and located in a great spot if you want access to Elijay or Blue Ridge. I did feel the description made it seem as though there was more space, the campsites ALL are on top of each other. I'm trying to find places that offer more privacy than a state campground and am willing to pay these prices for that, and this did not deliver.
The bathroom in the VRBO at the hilltop is really nice, and the outdoor showers do have great hot water. This would be a great site on a week day.

We had a fantabulous time camping here! We were close to activities we had planned and the camp area was beautiful with fall foliage. The campground was super clean and quiet even with several other campers on site. We have decided this will be an annual camp for us!

Josh's place at Stanley Gap is great. We stayed two nights and had a great experience. ~2 miles from Aska trails, 10 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and all of it's shopping, dining, etc. but it felt like we were 100 miles from civilization while at the campsite. Quiet, beautiful setting.

Great place and great location. I will definitely stay there again. Having a nice clean bathroom and shower is a big plus. If the light by the barn had a hood on it it would be an amazing place for stargazing.

Great site, I would highly recommend booking here. All the sites were clean, plenty of fire wood, and the creek is awesome. Bathroom is clean and stocked with soap and tp. The only thing I would add would be some curtains for the out door showers. 10/10 would and will stay here again!

We loved camping here so much. I wish I could be soothed to sleep by the sound of a stream every night 😍. This is genuinely my new favorite camp site and I’m so sad it was only one night. We will DEFINITELY be back! Thank you!!!

As a female traveling alone, this was the perfect spot to stay at. It’s close enough to town but still in a secluded area. The bathroom with a shower included is fantastic. Definitely want to come again with my husband and try out their cabin next time. The host was so accommodating and responsive. It was a great stay!

This was our first time taking our small kids camping, and it was a great spot - very quiet, seemed very safe, and had a clean bathroom. The platform was large enough to fit our 6-person tent.

Loved staying at the A-Frame. I will definitely be back. We really enjoyed the secluded area just a short distance to downtown. There were other sites close by but everyone was mindful of each other. The shared bathroom was also spotless. Josh gave plenty of recommendations for food and entertainment as well.
