We are 6 miles from Lake Lanier and the Chattahooce River, and a short drive to hiking/mountain biking trail heads. We took our pop up camper for 3 nights and it was very private and relaxing and had all the hook ups we needed! Our dog loved laying on the dock and my wife loved taking the kayaks out on the lake. I of course enjoyed fishing. Caught bass on a black trick worm about 3 foot out from bank. The gravel down to the fire is a little loose and I busted my butt lol so be careful where you step! We did have a truck come through behind us around 7am to go fishing.. which I get since it’s a shared drive so not a big bother. We will definitely go back!

Epic! Best place property we’ve visited. Stayed a week and it seemed like a minute and the week was gone. Michael is the best there is, with some folks you just know. Plenty of dried, cut, stacked, covered wood to burn. All secluded back on your own little peninsula with equipped BBQ and picnic table. And that dude is one cool cat! Met us exactly as we pulled up told us everything we needed to know then disappeared lol it was perfect. We’ll be back. It was a beautiful and private spot. Michael was a very communicative host and incredibly kind and helpful. Our car actually got stuck at the top of the gravel hill and Michael came to help pull us over the hill. (And just to add, it wasn't a bad road at all. Our Honda pilot is pulling a pop up camper and cargo storage on top, it was just too much for our car with the weight it was towing.) Would definitely recommend!

Deborah and her husband were such kind host! They made sure we got checked in and set up. The property was beautiful! Large lake and property for our pups to get some good exercise. I highly recommend this stay!

Weekend Trip to Lakefront get away

We loved our stay. The campsite is located on a beautiful lake that has almost no traffic. It a quiet and peaceful place to relax. Kayaking the lake with the kayaks available was so much fun. Michael was very responsive to all of our questions. Would definitely come back again!!

Weekend Trip to Talking Rock Motorcoach Resort

Great find! Brand new campsite, paved sites, full hookups and views of the surrounding mountains. Very nice clubhouse and amenities. Pickle ball courts, the list goes on!! My parents are headed there this weekend. Boxcar Grille and Brewery 5 minutes away. Haunted house nearby too!! Will definitely be back. Scooter and bicycle friendly.
