We love to come to the cabin and Hike the trails on our own property, and of course, the world famous ones that join them, namely the Bartram and the Appalachian Trails. As you explore the lake, the trails, the rivers, and the mountain roads you'll see why our ancestors settled here. In 2018 - we bought the remainder of Uncle Frank's land - and in his honor built our second cabin - Frank's Landing. Also in that year I started managing my brother Bill's cabin. When we were stationed in Alaska for 6 heavenly years - we purchased a remote parcel of property and have slowly begun to develop it. We just completed building our cabin there. There is an outdoor pavilion with a BBQ, picnic tables, and comfortable places to sit. We also have a tranquil fish pond and bonfire pit located in the center of the property for all of our guests to enjoy. Make s'mores or just relax and listen to the gurgling water and enjoy the fish. Explore our 6 acres of property including a pond, fire pit, outdoor pavilion, and our professional flower fields where you will see the team cutting fresh flowers daily! During the spring and summer months, enjoy our flower farm, Rainbow Roots Floral, which is always abundant with seasonal flowers including dahlias, sunflowers, peonies, zinnias, ranunculus, tulips, and other varieties of color. Most days you will see Adrienne (+team) working in the flowers! Don't hesitate to ask her about the flower farm, she LOVES to share her love of flowers with all her guests! We offer flowers for sale seasonally at our farm stand if you would like to take some flowers home with you! We can't wait to show you our little slice of heaven! The property is completely hidden from all streets and the surrounding neighbors by our bamboo forests. It is a wonderful venue for those who desire privacy. Aircraft Hangar This space boasts an open floor plan with 15-foot ceilings and plush and cozy king and queen size bedrooms. There is a large closet and bathroom space for getting ready. Our open kitchen features every appliance and bar tool you could need to make a meal or prepare cocktails with your guests. Perfect space to entertain or hang out as a family! Feel free to settle into the sofas and enjoy your favorite Netflix/Amazon shows. Or go outside and enjoy the amazing views of the Smoky Mountains, across our own flower fields, and onto the private airstrip that is adjacent to our property. From time to time you will actually see our neighboring pilots practicing with their aircraft. Vehicle access is clearly marked and very easy to navigate straight to the hangar. Just follow the gravel road at the end of the culdusac all the way to the end where you'll see a large wood sign indicating our Airbnbs. Turn left at the sign and follow the drive all the way up and around to the rear of our main house. Feel free to pull right into the designated parking area for Terminal 1344. We are McGee Tyson Airport close (10 miles) and just 30 to 45 minutes to Gatlinburg, Dollywood, Anakeesta and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

As to cold weather, the chapel has an electric heater that keeps it fairly comfortable in cold weather: not blazing hot, but comfortable, unless it gets VERY cold; then, the heater just takes off some of the chill. Zinus Ultima Comfort Memory Foam 6 Inch mattresses are very comfortable! Using the outdoor solar/camp shower is wonderful. The privy is clean and well-ventilated. Appliances: fan; toaster oven; microwave oven; coffee maker; and, small micro-fridge. Lighting is provided by four rechargeable lanterns. Screens on the windows and door to keep the bugs at bay. I loved my experience at the little barn house! The cabin itself was very cute, and the atmosphere was peaceful for a solo trip to escape city life. Jon was fabulous and incredibly helpful when I was needing some support. It was fun to have some animals nearby too, though hunting season is real, so something to keep in mind. Overall I am super grateful for my experience and would recommend it for anyone looking for a little getaway.

We loved our stay in the hangar! Adrienne and Dean were awesome hosts and the hangar has everything you need. There is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy with seating, fire pit options and is highlighted with all the beautiful flowers on the flower farm. Taking a walk through the property will just bring a smile to your face, the flowers are incredible and Adrienne is a wealth of knowledge. The property is near the western border of the Smokeys and close to the Cades Cove area of the park. A quick drive into Maryville will bring you to more urban amenities or activities as well. We felt very at home here and enjoyed cuddling the friendly dogs. If you are in the area, you are missing out by not experiencing this property! We will be coming back anytime we are in the area. Thanks Dean and Adrienne for an awesome trip!

I cannot emphasize enough how beautiful this spot is. The stream, the trees, the quiet. I have camped in almost every state, and this is easily one of my favorite sites. The road in a bit bumpy, but doable. I easily made the trek in a civic. The road is also great for taking a scenic walk. The covered porch was perfect for a rainy afternoon, and the heater was a welcome addition on cool autumn evenings. Close to the stunning Joyce Kilmer Wilderness & Nantahala National Forest. I hope to come back again!

We loved our stay at the Magical Resorts Groundskeeper Cabin! Mary truly thought of every detail when designing and decorating each space. The beautiful stained glass, cozy bedding, fire torches, and even the dishes made us feel like we were actually in Hagrid’s cabin! Even if you’re not a Harry Potter fan, the cabin is simply beautiful and so thoughtfully done. We have two younger children who absolutely loved it—they spent hours on the swings and the play area by the water and enjoyed feeding and petting the animals. One evening we visited downtown Haynesville and had a great meal at a local restaurant. We probably could have spent more time exploring the town, but we just loved relaxing in nature. Mary was so kind and quick to respond to all of my messages. We will definitely be back!

I can’t say enough good things about my stay! The farm setting was absolutely serene — nestled along a river and within striking distance of the mountains. Every detail was so thoughtfully done, from the well-kept amenities to the little touches that made it feel both comfortable and connected to nature. What really stood out was the hospitality. The hosts were genuinely kind and welcoming, and they went out of their way to help me plan things to do in the area — from scenic spots to local hidden gems; they went out of their way to make my stay extra special. Between the peaceful surroundings, beautiful scenery, and top-notch amenities, this place was the perfect balance of comfort and adventure. Such a great experience! The cottages were super cute, the property was peaceful, and we loved the animals and the little fairy village—it added so much charm. The hammock area was a really fun and relaxing touch. The host was kind, thoughtful, and very understanding when we had to leave earlier than planned. Everything was clean and cozy, and we truly enjoyed our time there. If I could make a small suggestion, it would be to add a few towel hooks for after showers and maybe clean the AC units or consider fans for better airflow. Other than that, everything was perfect—we’d happily stay again!

I really enjoyed my stay here! The campground is quiet, peaceful, and has a unique charm that makes it feel special. The rental was well stocked. Also, the owner was friendly and welcoming, which added to the great experience. The only thing I’d mention is that the air conditioning unit could use some cleaning or maybe an upgrade, and having a ceiling fan or two would really help with air circulation. Other than that, everything was great — I’d definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot to disconnect and be in a serene place all weekend! PLEASE BEWARE there is a giant active yellow jacket nest right on the bank of the creek at the site. If you have kids or are allergic, just be mindful. Brian was very easy to communicate with. The directions he sends you beforehand are spot on and we had no problem getting there. We did download an “offline map” (iPhone) before we lost service which was great to use on the way out of there. Wasn’t necessary but it was helpful. Even during the day, the cabin is pretty dark so bring extra lighting. Everything was very clean. The wood stove kept it nice and cozy. We will definitely be back!
