this is our 3rd time van-camping here and we’ve loved it each time! beautiful surroundings, nice fire pits and love being on the creek! plus, Ed is a very kind and communicative host. super helpful! 10/10 recommend!

Nice affordable campsite with firepit and latrine. Access to showerhouse, but I didn't use it. Next to river - nice to hear sound of river in the evening. Was quite windy, but did fine in the tent.

Great place with a great owner!
It was an awesome place to camp! Tent sites literally right on the river! Site #7 was perfect! We had our own little area down by the water where our 5 year old had the time of his life walking in the water and throwing rocks. It’s a small campground but that’s what makes it so nice because it’s quiet. And even if somebody is camping next to you you’ve got plenty of room and privacy. The bathhouse feels like your own personal bathroom. The doors have codes to get into them so you’ve got plenty of privacy! Some might now like it but we loved it because it felt totally private! And IT WAS VERY CLEAN! AND SANITARY!! the owner Ed was so nice and very helpful! He actually took time out of his day to come down and help us with our truck because it wouldn’t start! Thankfully because without him idk what we would have done! We are definitely going back a lot this summer! We loved it and so did our son. Nothing beats the sound from the river so close at night time! It’s an awesome place!

Riverfront Tent Site 8
Night stay
Stopped here to catch a few hours of sleep. We showed up at dark and left before sunrise. We showered and appreciated the nice clean restrooms. The park was quiet and clean from what we seen from our headlights. I would stay there again. I will also say Ed was very helpful and nice when I called him for the restroom code.

Riverfront RV Site 4
Meandering across NC
Headed to Virginia Beach Virginia from Dayton Tennessee. Meandering through North Carolina we came upon Ed’s camp and decided to stay, the price was very good, the grounds we well kept and the facilities were clean and the small river was just beautiful we would recommend this place highly. Ed was very nice and helpful.
