Hello Campers, We are a 125 acre property that has 36 holes of championship disc golf. The North Oconee River runs through our property as well as three ponds throughout. We have plenty of room to pitch your tents. It really depends on how far you would like to be from the bathhouse. We are 6 miles from Lake Lanier and the Chattahooce River, and a short drive to hiking/mountain biking trail heads. We have a wonderful bathhouse with restrooms, showers and laundry just a very short walk from our sites (maintained by the staff at the park). We're also pet-friendly and love our furry campers! Just add the pet fee for each pet in the extras section at check out or send us an email letting us know ahead of time and we will get that added. We just ask that you do not leave your pet alone in the tents at any time unless properly crated. You are financially responsible for any damage that is done to our accommodations by your pets.

It is completely private and unspoiled nature, with about a mile of walking trails throughout. The Mountaintop is a 3 acre high elevation site bordering 140 acres of undisturbed woods and is also very close to the Toccoa River. The river is controlled flow and usually at low water from dawn to about 2 pm, ideal for fishing or swimming/wading/boulder bopping. The River release schedule is available online at the website TVA.gov. The River has swift current when the dam is opened for release, usually daily. This property is conveniently located in Mineral Bluff, Georgia 30559, just 4 miles off the 4-lane highway (Highway 515/76) and just a short drive to Blue Ridge, Georgia; Blairsville, Georgia; Murphy, North Carolina, McCaysville, Georgia and Copper Hill, Tennessee. It is a paved road drive all the way to the entrance. Parking is about 150 feet walk down a small hill and a few stone steps. It is not handicap accessible. 3 miles to grocery and or Target/Walmart. The Chattahoochee river old Settles Bridge is 1/2 of a mile past my driveway trout fishing and kayak if you have one. I have a medium bike you can use.

Learn more about this land: Cabin is a 10 x12 with a porch across the front. Sit on the porch and listen to the breeze thru the tree leaves and birds chirping and owls hooting. There are 2 lofts for sleeping and a futon. Small area with coffee pot and fridge. Enjoy your meals either inside cabin or outside at the picnic table. There is no running water in the cabin. No cooking in the cabin, but toast or roast your meal at small fire pit near cabin and picnic table. A full bathroom is available in the basement of nearby home with a private entrance. There is unmarked hiking in the surrounding state forrest. With in a 30 min drive, you will find access to the Appalachian trail, lake Blueridge, toccoa river for paddling, Serenberry Winery. One room, tiny cabin, 10‘ x 16‘ ( it's small) with bathroom , kitchenette , shower, space heater and air conditioning twin bed all in one room it's perfect for one person but it sleeps two with two twin beds one rolls out. Complementary coffee , hot tea, and water. There is a microwave and a mini fridge. It is in the woods by a stream and it is right beside my house where I live. Parking is about 150 feet walk down a small hill and a few stone steps. It is not handicap accessible. 3 miles to grocery and or Target/Walmart. The Chattahoochee river old Settles Bridge is 1/2 of a mile past my driveway trout fishing and kayak if you have one. I have a medium bike you can use.

Another great trip to the Cove! For anyone who comes right after us, we set up your first fire logs in the firepit. We brought our own firewood but you’ll find enough logs in the wood crib to do about two fires, plus the giant stumps that are great to prolong the fire if you can get one going. George also has a bale of pine straw in there which is super helpful to get a fire started. My whole review is about fires, can you tell it was cold while we were there haha! Saw several deer and hawks. Lots of stars and quiet.

Richie was a great host and the shack was cute. The land is just uphill of the host's main house. You don't have to worry about the shared property because he respects your privacy. He said hello to us when we arrived and then we saw him again just before we checked out. It rained each night we stayed here and the shack kept us warm and dry.

I have to say, this was hands-down the best organized, cleanest, easiest, most amenity-laden cabin I’ve ever rented. So many details, from the embroidered robes to the bound book of instructions and recommendations. From the kitchen appointments to the coffee. There are really too many amazing little things to list here, but you could really tell the owners absolutely care about the experience their property provides. And we went panning for gold in the creek below the back deck and even found a little! It was incredibly comfortable and lots of fun. Just make sure you’re ok with stairs and aren’t too large to fit the spiral to the loft. I honestly cannot think of a single improvement to make. Didn’t even matter that it rained so much, because there was plenty left to do inside.

Weekend Trip to Peace Apalachee

My husband, my two children, and I had an amazing time at the airstream! It felt decadent to have our very own hiking trails. It was remote enough to feel like we were really out in the middle of nowhere, the stars were so incredible because there was no light pollution. The airstream itself was clean, well stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed eating at the picnic table for all of our meals and toasting marshmallows. The outdoor shower was a hit with my husband and I, and because there was a little bathtub, my children were able to take a bath after a very dirty day outside. We would really love to come back in the future and visit again! Highly recommend.

This is such a gorgeous and relaxing spot. The cabin is clean and roomy and the outhouse is pretty nice lol! One of the best parts is that the dogs got to be off leash around the site. It was a perfect way to spend a few chilly October night. We had everything we needed: a fire pit to keep warm, cozy blankets in the cabin, and forest sounds to keep us company. I highly recommend giving this spot a try. George is a phenomenal host who was available immediately when I called him with a question. 10/10 would come back!!

Really nice camper set up on a quiet back road with beautiful mountain views. Conveniently located to multiple area wineries, distilleries, hiking in the Chattahoochee Forrest, etc. We enjoyed a day trip into Helen to check out the Oktoberfest fun.
