There's 2 properties, both beautiful and special. ADDED AMENITIES!!! Shower available! Game Room!! Porta-potty/Outhouse!! Pedal boat on the pond!! AND visit the farm with the CUTEST farm babies!!!!! "The Twenty" is a neat campsite right on the Little Wolf River. This land has been in my family for generations. My dad tells stories of fishing the holes while they made hay when he was a kid. Definitely fishing opportunities, as well as floating down the river (tube, canoe, kayak, sup). There's a nice swimming hole right out from the campsite. The other property is on my pasture-based farm. It's a few miles from the Little Wolf. There is the "FarmStay" Camper, as well as a couple campsites nestled in the woods with a great views of the pastures, woods, and wetlands. We've also recently added a pond that's able to be used by our guests to swim in! There are 100+ acres that can explored on this 100% pasture-based beef operation. We're working on improving the trails. It's beautiful out there! Farm tours and canoe/tube rental available. The surrounding area has a TON of activities to offer for water fun and exploring! Feel free to ask! HipCamp STAR Host!!! woohoo!

Ever want to leave your job and unite with nature? Me too, after 10-plus years of tax preparation, I found myself with a desire to farm and to become closer to the food we take for granted. This farm is unique in that it was cleared and stripped of its topsoil and its fill was sold off to the state. What was left behind was a pond and some poor farmland. I purchased this less desirable property inexpensively and have been working tirelessly to regenerate the property to a farm that mimics nature and our natural ecosystem. I have planted over 1000 trees and perennial shrubs to move this property into an oak savannah-like natural farming system. In 2015 I purchased this property without any farming experience and have begun to transform this property into a beautiful destination. We look forward to seeing you and welcoming you into our ecosystem.

Back in the 1800s the land conditions were ideal for a raspberry farm. The original settler's barn and farmhouse were still standing in 1960 when our family obtained the land. Since then, old buildings have diminished back to Earth. What used to be a small creek is now a small pond and trout stream. We have a cabin, outhouse, outdoor shower and other camping accommodations depending on the camping experience you are looking for! Reconnect with nature, find your tranquility, enjoy the wildlife, be amazed by the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. There's swimming, or just relaxing here!

The farm has been in the family for four generations. We don't have any livestock anymore and rent the fields to the neighbors but the home, outbuildings and five acres are well-loved and used as our home base and also for rustic weddings, graduation parties, reunions and barn dances. In 1974, the farm was used as the location for the TV movie "Things in Their Season" starring Patricia O'Neal. We put up one of the first barn quilts in the county and are on the route of the Bike the Barn Quilts bike ride (held last Saturday in September.) Learn more about this land: Pitch your tent or roll your RV up to a beautiful farmstead (we no longer have animals, crops only).  We are a rustic wedding / event venue located mid-way on the Mountain Bay Trail, Wisconsin's longest rail-trail which runs about 90 miles from Weston to Green Bay.   Fire pit available.  Views of farmland all around.  Quiet and peaceful but not secluded.   (See pictures on Facebook Country Events at the Koeller Century Farm.) You can move tent into the machine shed (wood chip floor) during severe weather.  There are electrical outlets to use to re-charge devices.

One of the first farms in the area, dating back to 1860’s. Grainery is believed to be the oldest building, followed by the house. The original house was a log cabin and added onto making it into 2 story house today. The current Barn was built in the early 1900’s. The property was once dairy farm, and plant nursery. Enjoy the trails and the lawn around the barn. Be cautious of stinging neetle. Many birds; morning doves, thrushes, catbirds, green herons, gold finches and many more are seen. Raccoons, squirrels, snakes, turtles, deer, rabbits and have been seen 🦌🦝🐇 Learn more about this land: Rustic Farmette located on quiet county road. A gravel area is available for cars and campers. A above ground fire pit lined with logs for sitting is available. Electricity can be made available upon request. Nighttime is filled with the sound and sights of local wildlife. Barred owls, frogs and song birds of all types frequent the property. Raccoons🦝 have been seen in the area, so always take food precautions. Absolutely perfect for stargazing on clear nights. CAMPFIRES: Property has a burning permit. From DNR website https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/forestfire/permits If you are burning in a campfire ring or fire pit with the intent to eliminate debris, a DNR burning permit is required. However, small fires for warming or cooking purposes do not require a DNR burning permit and are allowed anytime of the day, except during Emergency Burning Restrictions. A post will be made if there is burning ban on Sunshine Farmette info page. Small town Fremont offers the basics and much more. Additional parking is available for tow vehicles, and there’s a public parking lot less than half a mile away where you can unhook before arrival and set up in the driveway. The property offers plenty of shade in the summer and space for tent camping on our empty lot next to the house and garage buildings. We have a woodworking studio where we create one-of-a-kind pieces using a scroll saw and other tools in our large workshop. You’ll also find a variety of vintage items for sale, along with handmade Christmas ornaments, puzzles, and wall hangings to choose from. Our property includes about half an acre fenced with chain link, providing plenty of room for pets to enjoy off-leash playtime during your stay. Lakeside Cozy Camp — Your Own Private Acre Near Big Hills Lake Looking for a simple, peaceful place to camp with easy access to the lake? Welcome to Lakeside Cozy Camp! Our campsite sits on a private, wooded one-acre property directly across the street from Big Hills Lake. You’ll have the entire acre to yourself, with plenty of room to relax, explore, set up your tent, or bring a small camper or RV. 🌲 A private property — but not a remote campsite The campsite itself is tucked into the trees, giving you your own space and a peaceful wooded atmosphere. There are no other campers sharing the property, so you won't be camping in a campground or next to another tent. We want to be completely transparent about what to expect: this is a private acre, but it is not a secluded or remote wilderness campsite. Although there are many mature and towering trees, you may occasionally see or hear our neighbor, especially during busy summer weekends. If you're looking for a private place to enjoy the outdoors without needing complete isolation, this could be a great fit. 🚣 Big Hills Lake is right across the street One of the best parts of staying here is the easy access to Big Hills Lake. The public boat launch and recreation area are directly across the street, giving you convenient access to: • Boat launching • Fishing • Swimming • Kayaking & paddleboarding • Ice fishing and winter lake activities • A public dock • Public restrooms You’ll need to cross the road to access the lake, but it's just a short walk from the property. 🔥 Your campsite The property is a simple, rustic camping experience surrounded by mature trees. You'll have access to: • Private one-acre property • Fire pit • Firewood • Picnic table • Flat camping area • Space for tents • Space for camper vans and smaller RVs • Pet-friendly property • Outdoor solar string lights There is no electricity, potable water, shower, or private toilet on the property, so please come prepared for primitive camping. A public restroom is available at the recreation area across the street. 🐕 Bring your dog Dogs are welcome to enjoy the property with you. Because this is a wooded property near a road and neighboring homes, please be respectful of property boundaries and keep an eye on your pets. 🌲 A simple Northwoods getaway Lakeside Cozy Camp is best suited for campers who enjoy the simple side of camping — sitting around a fire, exploring the woods, spending the day on the lake, and coming back to a quiet campsite at night. We're close to snowmobile trails, hiking, fishing, boating and Nordic Mountain, making this a convenient home base for outdoor adventures in the area.
