Legacy Creek Acres was just what we were looking for. Private, with lots of land to explore, and a great mix of sunny and shady spots. Noah was responsive and easy to work with. I'd definitely book again!

Noah was very accommodating when we needed to switch days due to weather and that was really appreciated.
My kids loved playing in the stream.
We loved the privacy of the campsite.
The grass was really tall which made walking the trails difficult, but with some mowing I'm sure they would be really nice to walk.

This site was a FANTASTIC find. Booking this last minute site on memorial day weekend was exactly what myself and a few friends needed. This site is massive and completely tucked away. My group consisted of 5 people. There was ample space for us to branch out on our own or huddle up around the fire. There is a lovely creek for easy water access for filtering, soaking your feet, or just taking in the scenery. There is a nice path that leads to a beautiful open prarie where we spotted owls, hawks, and other natural wildlife. This site has a lot of character with a couple pieces of wire furniture tucked here and there loads of fire wood. And the perfect balance of shady and sunny spots. There are multiple spots for tying up hammocks and lots of space for cars and tents. This site could easily host 10+ people.
10/10. Will definitely be back.

We had a great stay! The fall colors and leaves falling were magical. It’s a very private spot, where the kids and dogs can enjoy the woods! Will definitely be coming back next year!!

Really cool site down a gravel road. Dog and girlfriend and I really enjoyed it. Was able to get down the road in my tiny Honda Fit.
The road goes on for a bit after the camp site and was a nice little walk about.

We really enjoyed our stay at legacy Creek again this year. If you enjoy peace and quiet this is the place to be. Noah has a beautiful piece of land to enjoy!

We enjoyed our stay, the listing is accurate, and Noah was a great host.
Noah was only renting out one of the sites this year, and I think it would be my preference.
• Site 1 is nicely surrounded by trees, and it still gets sun and has a view of the stars. There’s level ground and lots of room to accommodate just about any set up (tent, hammock, RV, camper), but it’s still protected from wind and has some shelter from rain. It felt private without anyone in Site 2 (and it wasn’t in view or noise distance of Site 3).
• Site 2 is close by, completely in the woods by the creek you see in the listing pictures (it was muddy when we went mid-August).
• Site 3 is on the edge of the woods/farmland farther away (and where Noah was set up/not renting out).
While we got swarmed by mosquitoes getting out of our car (the amount was almost regretfully alarming), after lighting a couple Thermacell repellers, we had no problems with them at all (we didn’t even need spray).
We were attracted to this listing based on the length of the driveway from the main road, which offered the privacy we expected, and while we could still hear some road noise, it wasn’t too bad (it’s so hard to find someplace where you CAN’T hear road noise at all…). We were surprised, however, that we could hear train horns overnight (12a and 6a) from tracks over a mile away, although it wouldn’t keep us from booking again.
Overall happy and appreciate Noah sharing his land!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Legacy Creek Acres. Its is absolutely our favorite Hip Camp to date. It is o easily accessible yet once you get to the site you fell a though you are in the middle of nowhere surrounded by miles of gorgeous farmland and greenery. The site is nestled along a creek, and the host provides, a huge fire pit, picnic table, fire wood if you would like and there is unlimited space for tents and rv's. Noah is an incredible host and is super responsive. It is truly a gift that he hares this spot with all of us. Cannot recommend enough and you will not be disappointed. It is a perfect setting.

Gorgeous site with a lovely little creek and fields- we were completely secluded and very comfortable. Noah's instructions were clear, and he even checked in on us via text after a storm blew through on our first night. Would definitely stay here again.

Great private campsite. It was a great spot to let the dogs off the leash and roam freely and play in the small stream. The site and A small trail was mowed nicely. We really enjoyed site 1

This site was absolute perfection. Host was so friendly and accommodating and the site exceeded our expectations. Was so clean and lots of land to explore. We were the only ones camping so we had the place to ourselves. Will be back for sure!

The property is beautiful. Exactly as described. A large open space at site one. Perfect for our tent, and car with loads of room for the provided fire pit and picnic table. Noah told us to feel free to move things around to our liking. He was very accommodating, and left us to our privacy.

Had a great weekend getaway just a 2hr drive from Chicago. Had the place to myself so explored all three sites, and I would stay again at any of them. (But keep in mind for summer stays, site 3 gets a lot of direct afternoon sunlight, might get a little toasty!) Very easy to find, right off a main road and visible signage on the property. Noah was very responsive making sure I found everything and settled in. Will definitely stay again!

This place wasn’t bad for our first camping trip. We stayed at lot 2 and it was pretty hidden from the other 2 lots. The lot can be hard to get to if you have a bigger SUV. The sight is very buggy so bring lots of bug spray. You get swarmed getting out of the car. There were a bunch of animal burrows and holes in the ground so you have to watch your step. The lot came with a small fire pit. I definitely think this play is way over priced than what you’re getting. Overall not horrible for your first time but I would save my money and go somewhere else worth staying again.

We really enjoyed camping at legacy Creek acres! Site #1 has plenty of room for a camper! All 3 sites are pretty private. Noah the host was always available to answer my questions. We really wished we could have stayed longer! But we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time camping at site #1 for two nights with our kids. We woke up each morning to hear a lovely chorus of birds. The site is definitely big enough for multiple tents if needed and even though there were campers at site #3, it is a good distance away and we still felt like we had the place to ourselves. There was plenty of firewood provided for a very reasonable fee and communication with the host was great. Nearby, Back to the Best Country Store had a wonderful selection of produce, meats, cheeses, and various other groceries (along with very kind owners). We also really enjoyed Scoop DeVille Ice Cream Shop in nearby Hartford as well as the Honey Bee museum at Honey Acres, Inc. Kettle Moraine State Park is a very easy distance away with lots of hiking, including a very small child friendly .75 mile nature trail that teaches you about identifying trees. We wouldn't hesitate to come back!

Our favorite Hip camp site!! It's so accessible, right off a main road with a long driveway basically. You are nestled away in a very isolated spot, very safe, and all you can see is miles of fields and farm land. It's so beautiful you would think you're in the middle of nowhere. We drove our camper there, and had tons of space for other people to be in tents. They provide wood for a minimal fee and a fire pit for grilling. Noah was available for any questions and very quick responses. This was our second time staying here and looking forward to our next visit. Can't recommend enough.

Great private property near corn fields, prairie grass and a creek. We were in site 1, right by a small creek which was behind the trees. The site is mowed grass, very sunny (hot mid day so bring a shade tent if you have one) with a great fire pit and picnic table. Our dogs bark at people and other dogs.- we got lucky there was no one at site 2 up the road so they were able to run off leash with the kids. Surprisingly there were no mosquitoes. Some road sounds, farm sounds and freight train noise overnight. Noah was great to communicate with.

Noah was very nice and checked in with us prior to our arrival. We camped at site 1 which was large enough to accommodate our two travel trailers, an awning, and a couple vehicles. The other sites were a distance away which allows for great privacy. We enjoyed being out in a more rustic site, swimming at the near by Pike Lake, and access to Neosho for a quick bite.

Great little spot! My dog and I camped at site three for a night, and we weren’t disappointed. The land is beautiful, full of rolling hills, trees and a creek. We had the whole place to ourselves, so we took some time to explore the other sites as well. Noah was very friendly and accommodating, and Pike Lake is nearby in case it gets too hot. They have a little dog access area there that we took advantage of as well. I’ll be back! Thanks Noah.
