This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. No tents, please. Also we have NO public restrooms. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 10 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs above the shop, right on the property. Tilton River Studio Gallery. Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site available Memorial Day to Labor Day. This site is a private lot tucked in amongst a community of cabins. It’ got a mountain stream in the back, gazebo, chairs, picnic table, fire pit, full hookups , Wi-Fi, and a new gravel pad. I wished we had built in a longer stay. It’s less than a 5-minute drive to an entrance to Mount Rainier National Park.

Weekend Trip to Glacier Rock Wellness Ranch

This property was calm, clean and offered us privacy, nature, a place to cook, showers and a hot tub. The camping locations are spread out and we didn’t mind the quick stroll to reach the various amenities. It took us about little more than an hour to visit Mt. rainier and offered a view on the river as well. We hope to come again.

We had an awesome night out in the Wooded Glade site. This was our Shepherd's first camping trip and it was a huge success. Justin's property is wonderful, and we loved walking around on the hiking trail.

Weekend Trip to Majestic Meadows

The campsite came with chairs, a picnic table and a fire pit. They had wood for sale and buckets for putting out the fire as well. The outhouse was clean and they had a spigot with well water nearby. Fern gully was so cute. I would definitely come back. I did peak at the other sites too and sun-kissed meadow was just so beautiful. Highly recommend.

Weekend Trip to Coal Creek RV

We had a wonderful stay at this site! It was a great little setup nestled in the woods in a nice little mountain neighborhood that backed up to a little creek (with easy access to the staircase down). The covered table with lights was a great addition and you can’t beat full hookups and WiFi. Close to town and to Mt. Rainier National Park (though the nearby entrance was closed this month for construction and we had to drive an hour to Nisqually). Would definitely book this spot again.

Peaceful setting in a golf course community perfect for dog walks. Large site is close to the small town with gas, groceries, restaurants and breweries. The area is surrounded by National forests. And of course, there is Mt Ranier.

Beautiful well kept campsite! I loved running the trail around the campsite. The land and views were scenic and comforting. The shower was quite an experience. I would stay here again.

4 nights at Coal Creek RV

Great location if you are looking for a place tucked in the woods and close to Mt Rainer. Although you are next to cabins, the spot still feels private and the sounds of the creek below make it so peaceful and relaxing. The fire place, gazebo, and full hook ups were an added bonus. Also, we had no problems backing our 26ft trailer in and there was enough room for 2 vehicles to park. We would definitely recommend and would rebook if we were coming back to the area. Weekend Trip to Towering Pines Tiny Home

What a wonderful place. I can’t wait to go back. Tiny home was very comfy, loved the outdoor kitchen. Has everything we needed and close to the lake and town. Jimmy was an excellent host and super nice guy.
