A spacious deck, comfy outdoor furnishings, and an open-air cookhouse make outdoor living comfortable and easy.Hello! I’m Jim Wells. Here’s some information to help you get ready for your stay at our Towering Pines Tipi Camp, located in scenic, off-the-beaten-track Trout Lake, Washington. Let’s get started. You’ll get the full glamping experience here. Our secluded private camp sits under tall pine trees and includes a tipi with a king-sized bed, three tent cabins with queen-sized beds, and tri-fold mattresses for the kids. You will also find an outdoor shower, a 400-square-foot deck, comfortable furnishings, couches, and reclining La-Z-Boy chairs. For meal or beverage prep, enjoy our fully equipped cookhouse with hot running water. There’s also a cedar shake-shingled privy called the “Rose Room”. We provide sheets, pillows, and a comforter for the king bed in the tipi. If you’re staying in a 125-square-foot tent cabin, please bring your own sleeping bag, pillow, blankets, and sheets. Orientation and Walk-Through: + We’ll cover how to use the stove, lights, shower, recycling, compost, trash bins, sink disposal, and fire extinguisher, and show you where our first-aid kit is located. + If you have a travel delay or any last-minute questions, you can reach Jim at 509-637-6175 (mobile), Jim & Sally Wells at 509-395-2553 (home), or Sally at 509-637-0038 (mobile). + When you check out, please let Jimmy or Sally know by texting or stopping by our house. Emergency Telephone Number: Call 911 for emergencies, police, or fire. + Equipment Rental (please arrange rentals in advance and pay in cash): Inflatable kayaks (one- or two-seat, paddles, pump, and PFDs) are $50 per day each and fit rolled up in your car. These are high-quality AIRE LYNX or FORCE kayaks. Hard-shell kayaks with paddle and spray skirt are also $50 per day and can be strapped to the roof rack of your car. Deluxe, top-quality float tubes are available for $10 each per day. General Guidelines / Camp Rules: + Please do not park, walk, or place items on wild plants. + Stay within the property boundaries. + No fires are allowed due to a strict burn ban. +Quiet time starts after 10:15 pm. +Keep your valuables locked in your car (we’ve never had a theft problem in 45 years). +Keep counters and tables clean and free of open food to avoid attracting yellow jackets, bears, or mice.
