Here’s some information to help you get ready for your stay at our Towering Pines Tipi Camp, located in scenic, off-the-beaten-track Trout Lake, Washington. Let’s get started. You’ll get the full glamping experience here. Our secluded private camp sits under tall pine trees and includes a tipi with a king-sized bed, three tent cabins with queen-sized beds, and tri-fold mattresses for the kids. You will also find an outdoor shower, a 400-square-foot deck, comfortable furnishings, couches, and reclining La-Z-Boy chairs. For meal or beverage prep, enjoy our fully equipped cookhouse with hot running water. There’s also a cedar shake-shingled privy called the “Rose Room”. We provide sheets, pillows, and a comforter for the king bed in the tipi. If you’re staying in a 125-square-foot tent cabin, please bring your own sleeping bag, pillow, blankets, and sheets. Orientation and Walk-Through: + We’ll cover how to use the stove, lights, shower, recycling, compost, trash bins, sink disposal, and fire extinguisher, and show you where our first-aid kit is located. + If you have a travel delay or any last-minute questions, you can reach Jim at 509-637-6175 (mobile), Jim & Sally Wells at 509-395-2553 (home), or Sally at 509-637-0038 (mobile). + When you check out, please let Jimmy or Sally know by texting or stopping by our house. Emergency Telephone Number: Call 911 for emergencies, police, or fire. + Equipment Rental (please arrange rentals in advance and pay in cash): Inflatable kayaks (one- or two-seat, paddles, pump, and PFDs) are $50 per day each and fit rolled up in your car. These are high-quality AIRE LYNX or FORCE kayaks. Hard-shell kayaks with paddle and spray skirt are also $50 per day and can be strapped to the roof rack of your car. Deluxe, top-quality float tubes are available for $10 each per day. General Guidelines / Camp Rules: + Please do not park, walk, or place items on wild plants. + Stay within the property boundaries. + No fires are allowed due to a strict burn ban. +Quiet time starts after 10:15 pm. +Keep your valuables locked in your car (we’ve never had a theft problem in 45 years). +Keep counters and tables clean and free of open food to avoid attracting yellow jackets, bears, or mice.

Once in a lifetime experience

TINY HOME

This is by far the absolute best place you could glamp in the area! The tiny home was the best hipcamp experience my husband and I have had since using the app. The outdoor living room and showers is an amazing unique experience you definitely don't find quite anywhere else. The land is beautiful and a prime location for the Ice Caves, lakes and so much more. Everyone in Trout Lake is extremely nice and happy to meet you with a smile as you go around town, even waving at you as you drive by. I highly recommend this place with a cheerful host like no other it truly is an experience of a lifetime! Including a very happy puppy that would love to play fetch :)

A Well-Crafted Tipi Camp Experience

Wonderful property and host. Jimmy was very welcoming and helpful. He knows the area well and gave us great recommendations. The Tipi bed and sleeping pads were comfortable. The kitchen and and were great! Outdoor shower was warm and in a beautiful location. Would recommend!

A Well-Crafted Tipi Camp Experience

We really enjoyed our stay at Cascadia Tipi campground. There is a large tipi and 2 tents that are already set up for you when you arrive. There is a stocked kitchen with burners and dishes and pots and pans and a refrigerator. Lots of couches on the deck to relax and play cards. Just a really enjoyable experience. The camp is pretty secluded there is a tiny house and a treehouse that are on the property but other than that there isn't anybody around. There's water about 30 minutes from the camp, either north or south. One day we went 30 minutes north to Goose Lake and the next day we went 30 minutes south to Hood River. Both were enjoyable experiences. There is also an outdoor shower that is hooked up to a propane water heater. The ability to have a 3 AM hot shower, secluded in the wilderness, open to the millions of stars was worth the trip all by itself. Jim seems super friendly and his staff was available by text very quickly. Definitely an enjoyable experience and we hope to visit again.
