Weekend Trip to Bianchi Vineyards RV Site

Beautiful and private spot on their vineyard. TV was great. I ordered a bottle of wine and it was delivered. Private area to walk around and see the two horses. The airport didn't bother me. No planes at 6am and 2pm like I expected - it was fine. I'd go again. Be sure you can back up your trailer 100' to get out. You need to back it up straight for 100'. No problem for me. I had a great time meeting Rene, talking, and tasting wine! The campsites are spacious and there was a lot of room to let my retriever roam and chase after a tennis ball. The scenery in the Palisades canyon is spectacular, as is the stargazing. I'll be visiting again.

Weekend Trip to Heron's Rookery at Yakima River

The spot was clean, level and easy to get in to. The host was responsive to my questions. Right on the river and a quiet country road to walk on. It was just my dog and myself and I felt safe there. Recommend!

2 nights at The Hay Farm

This is my first hip camp, so I was not sure what to expect. The host, Shane was very nice and greeted me when I arrived. Explained to me a few things and gave me some directions to some scenic areas and also where to use the RV dump, which is only a few miles down the road. Ironically, it’s free between 730 and 3:30 PM each day. For the most part, it was quiet. You can hear interstate 84 in the background a little bit. There’s a nice little stream with a bunch of frogs to go look at. The sunset was absolutely beautiful. My only problem that I had that someone else may not have is that it was very, very rocky for my dog. And there was not a lot of grass for her to do her duty. Other than that, it was a very nice trip for my first one. There are some permanent tenants that live there but they were no bother at all. I did have some power issues. My surge protector blew in spot 1. I had to go buy a new one. I had a 30 amp cable and 30 amp surge protector. Once I got the 50 amp, there were no issues. Not sure if it is me, being new or? In all, it was a very positive experience and I look forward to using this app in the future. Thank you Shane for poppin my 🍒 😆

3 nights at Otherwise Farm

We loved our time at Robert’s land, it’s truly a little slice of heaven. He was there to answer any questions we had immediately. Although we wish we could have been a bit more social with them! Unfortunately we were in town while vending at Apple Blossom Festival so were in and out a lot. We plan on definitely coming back when we are in Wenatchee again in the future. There will be tractors here or there, as you are really within the fields. Nothing that will be a bother all too much. The friendly neighbors and host really made us feel like we were back home in Wisconsin. (Felt the Midwest nice again). Pretty much every car or Utv we passed on the way to the property on the ridge would give us a friendly smile and wave. Thank you so much for everything Robert!

Weekend Trip to Del Rosario Family Vineyard

The sites are very large and well kept. Great area to have a dog. We enjoyed the stay and Renee is very hospitable. The tasting room is nice and he even allows dogs in. A storm blew in during the night so we had a lot of wind but that is just Washington weather.

The vineyard site and Renato were lovely. We had a great time wine tasting and chatting with Renato before a quiet nights rest in the vineyard. The toilet was spotless, the nicest portapotty I’ve ever used. We would stay again!

3 nights at Earthlight Camping

Van camping spot with a beautiful view, well worth the drive from the city. End of April was a perfect time to see the wildflowers. We lucked out with sunny skies, but should have taken wind gusts into account—makes for difficult outdoor cooking and campfires. However, when the winds stopped, it was the most peaceful experience.

1 night at Bianchi Vineyards RV Site

Stunning views, a lovely covered area, & flat parking. We weren’t sure what to expect, but were charmed to find we were plugged into a former tasting room that looked towards Mission Ridge. The host was very helpful and quickly responded to our questions. Watching sunset with the fire pit on was a great way to end the day and my toddler loved playing on the lawn the next morning.

Weekend Trip to Earthlight Camping

We loved our stay at Earthlight! Almost every angle had a beautiful view of the mountains and valleys. We will highly recommend this site to others. We have a very reactive dog and this site was perfect for her. No other noises or animals around (minus the occasional bird or two, which she’s fine with) it was fun watching her truly relaxed for a few days. Great place to disconnect and enjoy the beauty.

This place is truly a hidden gem! The host, Renato, is a wonderful guy — so welcoming and full of knowledge. It’s peaceful, quiet, and the perfect escape from the noise of everyday life. My dog, Sebastian, was absolutely thrilled to be there and had such a great time exploring. One of the highlights was going wine tasting with Renato. Hearing his story and learning about his passion for winemaking made the experience even more special. And the wine? Hands down the BEST wine I have ever tried — absolutely exceptional! At night, the stars are mesmerizing, creating a magical atmosphere you don’t often find. The property is well-equipped too, with access to water and a clean portable toilet, making the stay comfortable and easy. Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to come back!

This was such a wonderful space to stay in! Safe, clean, quiet. Friendly and accommodating host! Caveat to staying here: you must like dogs and your dog(s) must be very friendly with other dogs. There are 2 dogs who live on the property, both are very sweet. Obi was with us a LOT, but we are dog people, so it was a joy! Great place to see wildlife as well! Tons of American bullfrogs and red eared sliders in the pond, as well as nesting redwing blackbirds. Bring bug spray!

Purchased in 2013 after a fire came through the area. We've spent the last 7 years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads. Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry). We offer five listings - a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, retro trailer, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot. Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk). Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy. Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower. Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk). Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis. Masabaje is a clothing optional space. We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!

Lots of large groups have reserved multiple or all sites for their large groups and for more privacy. However please keep in mind the place still needs to be cleaned up upon leaving. Private camp area close and easy access to Forest service road 4517 that has ATV, dirt bike and snowmobile trails in amazing Cle Elum's Little Creek and Granite Creek area. Can take ride ORV from campground to Forest road, but no trail riding in campground or surrounding gravel roads. Vehicles must have spark arrestors. Quiet and private for groups to hang out and enjoy the area, hiking, exploring, and enjoying the night sky. We often kayak at Easton State Park or at Cooper Lake and then come back to this private camp area away from the crowds. Huge parking and camping area where 10+ vehicles and RVs can easily drive to and park before heading out on the trail or use as a base camp to enjoy the peaceful mountains around you and explore are area around you. You will enjoy the peaceful hills and unobstructed views of a stary night sky. No electrical or water hookups. This is not a KOA, it's a very private rough campground area with beautiful views. There are no manicured lawns, but lots of rocky areas and often wildlife walking about. Deer and turkeys often are seen and grasshoppers when its warm. Forest Road to campsite often is bumpy with good sized potholes. The internet service via T-Mobile is incredible on 4/18/2024 I was getting the following at the entrance of the camp area: 80 - 181 Mbps Down 5- 10.2 Mbps Up

Our group-style camping area is ideal for small groups of people or couples. We have a total of 4 spots. Spot #1 is our largest spot, suitable for 4 or 5 two-person or three-person tents. Spot #2 is a bit smaller, ideal for up to 3 medium-sized tents. Spots 3 and 4 are suitable for two small to medium-sized tents. Camp spots are next to each other, so there's not a lot of "wild forest camping" here. We refer to it as urban camping. Please be aware that there is some traffic noise in the area, as we are located near Highway 2. There are also picnic tables in the camping area for all campers to use as well as several hammocks.. Access to the river is very nearby. Weekend camping is limited, and you may occasionally hear the sound of a train whistle. WiFi and a fire pit are included, as well as on-site port-a-potties. There is a large communal fire pit, but no individual campfire pits; however, the option is available to bring a propane stand-alone fire pit. Fires are allowed in April, May, and June; the fire ban starts on July 1st due to wildfire concerns. No smoking and children are OK as long as they are kept under control. Our property features potable water, on-site outdoor showers, and a foot-operated hand wash station. Our camping area is somewhat small and does not have grass, but it is graveled. Please be respectful of our neighbors and other campers by keeping your music at a low to medium volume. Please bring a photo ID and a credit card to complete our camper registration form.
