We've spent the following years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads.
Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry).
We offer multiple listings - the cottage, a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot.
Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk).
Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy.
Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower.
Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk).
Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house.
You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee).
Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis.
Masabaje is a clothing optional space.
We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!

Welcome to one of the most magical places in Kittitas County. Here you will be the ONLY campers on this 1 acre site! The spot has a crystal clear 80/gpm well and power. There is plenty of room for extra tents (can be rocky) and parking. The driveway can be challenging if you are new to trailering. I suggest walking up the driveway prior to entering. There is a turn around for backing up but it is not a pull though. See photos ;)
Here you will feel a world away but a 15 minute drive down the mountain and you are in downtown Cle Elum. The property is minutes away from the Yakima River, Hwy 10, I-90 and the Teanaway Forest. Fly fishing, rafting, hiking are all nearby.
When the sun goes down get your chair ready. Sunsets are breathtaking and with little light pollution, the star gazing is incredible.
This original 24 acre parcel and surrounding area was destroyed by the Taylor Bridge fire in August of 2012. The fire destroyed 61 homes and 36 square miles. BURN BAN as of 07/07/2026, so please no fires.
Well socialized dogs are ALWAYS welcome to run and play. The owner has a very friendly Aussie who “sneak out” to say hello. If that is a problem please let us know.

Lots of large groups have reserved multiple or all sites for their large groups and for more privacy. However please keep in mind the place still needs to be cleaned up upon leaving.
Private camp area close and easy access to Forest service road 4517 that has ATV, dirt bike and snowmobile trails in amazing Cle Elum's Little Creek and Granite Creek area. Can take ride ORV from campground to Forest road, but no trail riding in campground or surrounding gravel roads. Vehicles must have spark arrestors.
Quiet and private for groups to hang out and enjoy the area, hiking, exploring, and enjoying the night sky. We often kayak at Easton State Park or at Cooper Lake and then come back to this private camp area away from the crowds.
Huge parking and camping area where 10+ vehicles and RVs can easily drive to and park before heading out on the trail or use as a base camp to enjoy the peaceful mountains around you and explore are area around you.
You will enjoy the peaceful hills and unobstructed views of a stary night sky.
No electrical or water hookups. This is not a KOA, it's a very private rough campground area with beautiful views. There are no manicured lawns, but lots of rocky areas and often wildlife walking about. Deer and turkeys often are seen and grasshoppers when its warm. Forest Road to campsite often is bumpy with good sized potholes.

Our camp spot is away from our house with its own grassy area. The view is open and looks toward the surrounding hills.
There is much to see and do in the Wenatchee valley. And we are only a 10 minute drive to many of them.
To name a few, golfing, wine tasting, swimming, boating, biking, hiking, shopping and and lots of great places to eat. We are happy to offer suggestions and give directions.
We have two dogs that roam our property and we welcome friendly dogs.

We loved camping at the Del Rosario Family Vineyard. The rather remote location meant we had the place to ourselves, but we were within driving distance to restaurants and recreational activities. The property was well kept and desert wildlife was everywhere. We enjoyed getting to meet Renato, learn about his history and share our experiences living in California and Oregon, and taste his unique organic wines. We would stay here again!

Stayed over 4th of July weekend with 3 of my 4 grandkids at site 13 and we had a great time! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly.
There weren’t many campers, but Kent and Iza invited us over with the ranch residents to watch the fireworks and we had a lovely time.
Kent was great and so helpful with all of the kids, giving them sparklers and helping them with the smaller fireworks before the “big show”.
We were able to feed the livestock and even encountered a wandering piglet over at our campsite one afternoon and the following morning. The kids were beside themselves with joyful laughter during his visits. Lots of wonderful memories made this weekend, we will absolutely be back again.

I loved camping at cottonwood Country Camp. Our host Paul checked in with us to be sure we had everything we needed, brought us eggs and introduced us to his pet goose Emily. It was such a treat having hot showers, water and electricity, and our dogs could explore off leash. We’ll be sure to book a site on our next adventure.

Kent and Iza are a lovely couple. They are hard workers that are trying to make their land work for them and diversifying their land in to several projects- and that is really admirable. I would say that while they have some parts of the farm in great shape with beautiful features, such as the pond, the barn and the view to the mountain, there are other parts that truly are a working farm and all the things that come with that. We had booked the Shady Tent site 6 and I had put that we have a pop up camper but when we arrived, it was clear that the pop up camper would not be able to park near the shady tree - it truly is a tent only site and we ended up in the field nearby. In retrospect, I wish I had read the listing a little better and consider it my own fault. The field has little shade, so hot in the sun, but would be great if you have lots of sun awnings and/or ways to keep cool. Where we were on the field, which is truly an open field that was once an airstrip, there was not a firepit nearby, so we were not able to do a fire at night. The bathroom is a little walk from the field, but not that big of a deal. The bathroom was clean with 3 toilets and one shower stall. There is an additional outside toilet that has a mirror. There are other campers on the property, including some people who have this as their permanent residence. All of them were really nice, kind, and accommodating, but it was not quite as remote as I had expected. Despite this, it was quiet.

Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. This is a great option if you're attending events at The Gorge, it's about 15 minutes away.
The property is well-kept and lots of grassy areas for tents. The corral site also has a nice grass pad (the photos look like dirt, but its very green) and a lovely garden-like setting. There are trees around, but mid-day sun can be brutal, so be sure to pack your own shade.
The dogs are very sweet and no problem at all. they just excitedly bark a couple of times when you first arrive, and then we never heard them again during our stay.
