This cabin was great. I loved hearing the river right outside. Very restful, and I’m just so happy I didn’t have to put up a tent!

Lovely tiny cabin on the river. The pull-out couch takes up the whole space (as advertised), so we let the kid stay on the folded couch and slept on camping mats on the floor. One outlet had electricity, which was a surprise! There were lovely little unexpected things, like a propane firepit (which it was too warm to use during our trip, but appreciated) and a large propane grill. Oh, and a rattlesnake! We had a lot of fun exploring this gorgeous part of the state. One note is that the cabin is about 40 feet from two-lane highway 12 (across the river), and the trucks can be quite loud even with the sound of the river. Still, a wonderful stay and great value. Thank you for hosting us.

Nice basic cabin. Beautiful view one of the best places to have a drink on the river and no fuss out. House is clean. What not to like? 👍

This place is wonderful. I had hipcamped once before and was disappointed. This is BETER than advertised, BETTER than advertised!!!! It’s a fisherman’s bunk house, with a worn but serviceable pull out couch. Put our bedding on it and we slept like babies. The site is spectacular. There is a grill onsite that’s fire-safe. There are other bunk houses around but we didn’t see a soul. And yes, the porch really juts out over the creek! The outhouse is right around the corner of the house—and has a motion sensor light, nice feature. Couldn’t totally figure out the electricity but we have a large camp battery, so no problems. I would stay here a thousand times over. Next time will book two nights to get to better explore the area.

I loved our stay! It’s so cute & cozy! Perfect for a romantic getaway. Dan was very patient with all my questions & concerns lol. He’s very attentive to messages! I’d definitely want to come back!
