Here you will find the peaceful quiet of being "away from it all", yet in reality you are only a little over a mile from the local grocery store, restaurants, and gas stations along Hwy 12 in Randle. We have 20 spacious sites on 70 acres, bordered by the Cowlitz River in Randle, WA. We are centrally located between Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Adams. Since we are not open for public entry, you can feel safe leaving your camp set up while you take day excursions. We have dry camping ONLY. There is a spigot for water at the gate, but no water or electricity hookups at any of the sites. We welcome individual campers as well as groups. Many of our sites will hold 20-30 people, all in one site area. We can also accommodate much larger groups.... Weekend Trip to Cowlitz River Rentals

We were a group of 3 families celebrating a birthday, and we had a fantastic time. The camp spot has gorgeous views, privacy and great river access. The porta potty was very clean, no unpleasant smells with hand sanitizer and TP. We enjoyed waking on the property, spotted 2 foxes and many cool birds, and floated on the river a couple of times. It is really dusty, but it's worth it anyway. We are already making plans to come back, great spot!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Cowlitz River Rentals. It’s amazing, I really couldn’t recommend it more. We stayed at River Bar West, It has very easy access to the river. The sites are large and very private. Also the spacing between them is perfect, it almost felt like we were the only ones there! There were several port-a potties around the sites, and they were clean and serviced regularly. Hazelanna is such an amazing host! She is very kinda, communicative, and extremely helpful with whatever you may need. We are already planning our trip for next year and cannot wait to come back! Thank you! - A&H

Loved our one night stay here - I wish we could have stayed the whole weekend! Beautiful view of the river from camp site #1. There were people at the next camp, but still felt private. Spots to hang hammocks, flat areas for our tent and pop up table. I did initially think we’d be able to walk into the water from the site, but it’s just a quick walk to the beach. Great swim spot. As hosts mentioned, 4WD would have definitely helped with leaving and we had a bit of trouble getting back up the hill. Can’t wait to come back!
