This campground was developed in the 1950s by a husband and wife team and later passed to their children. My partner and I were lucky enough to purchase it in Oct 2020 and our goal is to bring it to its original beauty and charm with the most up to date amenities. It's still a work in progress! Long Beach Peninsula has been a family vacation destination for a long time and there's so much fun to be had on every inch of land! Located centrally between Leadbetter Point and Cape Disappointment, we have 16 full hookup RV sites (30 amp power/water/septic/Wifi) close enough to enjoy the fun of Long Beach and Ocean Park, but far enough to retreat to your camp for quiet and relaxation. Hang out in the rec room or at a fire pit, play horseshoes or bocce ball with family, or take a short walk down our dune path to watch the sun set on the ocean.

The Shack at Long Beach

16. The Shack at Long Beach

4mi from Long Beach · 1 site
⭐️ RATED 10/10 ON vrbo ⭐️ Welcome to The Shack—a 548 sq ft portal to a slower frequency, set on .36 acres just minutes from the Pacific. Inside, things get groovy. The space is compact but dialed with bold color, vintage touches, and just enough weirdness to keep it interesting. It’s the kind of place where time stretches a bit, plans dissolve, and suddenly you’re three games deep at the pool table wondering what day it is. Out back, the energy shifts. A detached guest house doubles as a quiet little library—your personal hideaway for reading, napping, or disappearing into your own head for a while. It’s a softer space to balance the buzz, and a favorite for slow mornings and late-night wind-downs. What you’ll find: ● Pool table for late-night tournaments and questionable trick shots ● Detached guest house library (read, nap, repeat) ● Easy access to the beach ● 36 acres to stretch out and breathe ● A psychedelic, one-of-a-kind interior

Fish on!! Emerald green River front and swimming hole for adults and children 5 years of age and older. ( Swimming hole is deep) There are lots of shallow places for kids. Let's chat if you want a younger child. I am flexible. All sites have access to the river and the beach. Great for biking, playing on the beach, swimming and exploring the surrounding area. Watch and listen for the magic of the fish jump (fishing allowed with license) Lots of wildlife! Visit the only working covered bridge in Washington State. Bring a kayak or floaties. Ride your bike on a beautiful country road. The water is very amazing and surrounded by woods. There are 2 sites directly on the river and 2 about 50' from the river with a river view. A few miles away is a little restaurant called Duffy's. Open only Thu - Sunday. It is 12 miles to nearest town in both directions for a store and gas. There is a Porta potty and picnic tables. No potable water yet so please bring your own. A contained fire allowed. Wood is available to buy. Most phones get service. No electric at this time. Pet friendly. Pets must be on a leash for their safety. ( You should be able to let you dogs run free down at the end of the beach) Life jackets are highly recommended for people who can't swim. Two sites have a little country rd that is between you and the riverfront that hardly gets used. The river is a stone throw away. Only 26 miles to Astoria Oregon and 34 miles to Long Beach Washington. There is a old farmhouse on the top of the hill that is not lived in. I store my tools in there that I use. All sites are huge. There will be other campers. Thank you Mary
