Long Beach Peninsula has been a family vacation destination for a long time and there's so much fun to be had on every inch of land!
Located centrally between Leadbetter Point and Cape Disappointment, we have 16 full hookup RV sites (30 amp power/water/septic/Wifi) close enough to enjoy the fun of Long Beach and Ocean Park, but far enough to retreat to your camp for quiet and relaxation. Hang out in the rec room or at a fire pit, play horseshoes or bocce ball with family, or take a short walk down our dune path to watch the sun set on the ocean.

We bought this land in 2017, there were 7 derelict mobile homes on the property. We cleaned up the area and remodeled the house next door and put in the 5 RV sites. We hope you enjoy this property as much as we do, it is a one-of-a-kind beautiful, quiet place.
All of our sites have full hook-ups (water, sewer, and power). The sites are just a couple feet from the bay with access to miles of beach hiking. You can walk to Bottle Beach State Park which is approximately 1 mile north or hike about a mile south to Elk River. Enjoy unobstructed views of Westport and the freight ships coming into the harbor. Enjoy a peaceful beach with amazing sunsets.
Whether you are surfing for the weekend or tuna-fishing, this is your go to spot - you will not be disappointed. Westport is 7 miles by car and the Westport Winery is only 5 miles. There is two nearby boat launches - one off of Elk River just 2 miles away and the other off of Johns River launch just 6 miles away.
We are located in the middle of an outdoor paradise and want others to enjoy all it has to offer.

What to Know Before You Book
The cabin sleeps 3 adults comfortably and has basic amenities inside: bed and futon with bedding, chairs and table, games and a small library. The outdoor kitchen includes two picnic tables, a gas and charcoal grill with burner, basic cooking equipment, and dishes for 8. Propane and wood fire pits are included.
Camping at Hidden Pillar is a primitive, off-grid experience:
- No electricity; no running water
- Bring all water or purification system; pack out all trash
- Gravel roads are steep and rutted—high-clearance vehicle recommended for cabin and Creekside access
Hidden Pillar Retreat provides easy access to Southwest Washington Coast beaches, historic river towns (Skamokawa, Cathlamet, Astoria), Julia Butler Hansen Wildlife Refuge, and excellent boating/kayaking.

Fish on!! Emerald green River front and swimming hole for adults and children 5 years of age and older. ( Swimming hole is deep) There are lots of shallow places for kids. Let's chat if you want a younger child. I am flexible. All sites have access to the river and the beach. Great for biking, playing on the beach, swimming and exploring the surrounding area. Watch and listen for the magic of the fish jump (fishing allowed with license) Lots of wildlife! Visit the only working covered bridge in Washington State. Bring a kayak or floaties. Ride your bike on a beautiful country road. The water is very amazing and surrounded by woods. There are 2 sites directly on the river and 2 about 50' from the river with a river view. A few miles away is a little restaurant called Duffy's. Open only Thu - Sunday. It is 12 miles to nearest town in both directions for a store and gas. There is a Porta potty and picnic tables. No potable water yet so please bring your own. A contained fire allowed. Wood is available to buy. Most phones get service. No electric at this time. Pet friendly. Pets must be on a leash for their safety. ( You should be able to let you dogs run free down at the end of the beach) Life jackets are highly recommended for people who can't swim. Two sites have a little country rd that is between you and the riverfront that hardly gets used. The river is a stone throw away. Only 26 miles to Astoria Oregon and 34 miles to Long Beach Washington. There is a old farmhouse on the top of the hill that is not lived in. I store my tools in there that I use. All sites are huge. There will be other campers. Thank you

This beach front campsite is located next to the Tokeland marina and nelsons crab shack. It is within walking distance to The Tokeland Hotel and public crabbing and fishing. The property has power only and can acommodate tent camping or small to medium sized RV's or trailers. This is the site of the old historic coast guard boat house and the dock is still there which hosts plentiful wildlife and a variety of bird watching. Enjoy walking on the beach and playing in the water or just relax and take in the view of Willapa bay and the hillsides. You can crab all year from the warf so come get a great catch!

We have been trailer camping at Shelby's quite a few times, and always have the best time. Getting there is a breeze and it is usually pretty quiet. It is VERY close to the beach and all the sites have a view of the bay. Very close to Westport and Grayland for exploring. Did I mention Full hookups?! Love it and we will be back.

Weekend Trip to Coastal Family Hideaway
This was an excellent spot that was nice a private but still close to town! We were able to talk to the beach using the trail, but needed our rubber boots to get through the flooded spots. The only issue we had was with the gate lock. It got jammed pretty bad a few times and was difficult to lock/unlock even with the correct code.
