This campground was developed in the 1950s by a husband and wife team and later passed to their children. My partner and I were lucky enough to purchase it in Oct 2020 and our goal is to bring it to its original beauty and charm with the most up to date amenities. It's still a work in progress! Long Beach Peninsula has been a family vacation destination for a long time and there's so much fun to be had on every inch of land! Located centrally between Leadbetter Point and Cape Disappointment, we have 16 full hookup RV sites (30 amp power/water/septic/Wifi) close enough to enjoy the fun of Long Beach and Ocean Park, but far enough to retreat to your camp for quiet and relaxation. Hang out in the rec room or at a fire pit, play horseshoes or bocce ball with family, or take a short walk down our dune path to watch the sun set on the ocean.

Welcome to the emerald green River front and swimming hole for adults and children 5 years of age and older.... PLEASE READ the description for each site. Photos reflect the whole property not just 1 camp site. (Swimming hole is deep) There are lots of shallow places for kids. Let's chat if you want a younger child. I am flexible. All sites have access to the river and the beach. Great for biking on the quiet little country Rd that is split between the the river sites and other sites. Playing on the beach, swimming and exploring the surrounding area. Watch and listen for the magic of the fish jump (fishing allowed with license) Lots of wildlife! Visit the only working covered bridge in Washington State. Bring a kayak or floaties. Ride your bike on a beautiful country road. The water is very amazing and surrounded by woods. There are 2 sites directly on the river and 2 about 50' from the river with a river view. A few miles away is a little restaurant called Duffy's. Open only Thu - Sunday. It is 12 miles to nearest town in both directions for a store and gas. There is a Porta potty and picnic tables. No potable water yet so please bring your own. A contained fire allowed. Wood is available to buy. Most phones get service. No electric at this time. Pet friendly. Pets must be on a leash for their safety. ( You should be able to let you dogs run free down at the end of the beach) Life jackets are highly recommended for people who can't swim. Two sites have a little country rd that is between you and the riverfront that hardly gets used. The river is a stone throw away. Only 26 miles to Astoria Oregon and 34 miles to Long Beach Washington. There is a old farmhouse on the top of the hill that is not lived in. I store my tools in there that I use. All sites are huge. There will be other campers. Thank you Mary

We bought this land in 2017, there were 7 derelict mobile homes on the property. We cleaned up the area and remodeled the house next door and put in the 5 RV sites. We hope you enjoy this property as much as we do, it is a one-of-a-kind beautiful, quiet place. All of our sites have full hook-ups (water, sewer, and power). The sites are just a couple feet from the bay with access to miles of beach hiking. You can walk to Bottle Beach State Park which is approximately 1 mile north or hike about a mile south to Elk River. Enjoy unobstructed views of Westport and the freight ships coming into the harbor. Enjoy a peaceful beach with amazing sunsets. Whether you are surfing for the weekend or tuna-fishing, this is your go to spot - you will not be disappointed. Westport is 7 miles by car and the Westport Winery is only 5 miles. There is two nearby boat launches - one off of Elk River just 2 miles away and the other off of Johns River launch just 6 miles away. We are located in the middle of an outdoor paradise and want others to enjoy all it has to offer. ***If you have questions about how to add sites to your reservation or change dates, please reach out to HipCamp support. They will be able to better assist you.*** PLEASE NO FIREWORKS ON SITE OR SURROUNDING AREA.

* Please note that there is no hunting allowed and please be mindful of fire band Welcome to Timber Ridge Ranch! A rustic tree farm with close proximity to the beach. Experience a variety of epic timber campsites just above the iconic surf spot, Oswald State Beach, also known as Short Sands (aka “Shorty’s”). Nestled in a coastal Forrest, a short stay with us will have you feeling both inspired and connected as you experience our regions legacy industry: evergreen farming. So pack your flannel and join in the heritage of the Pacific Northwest logging traditions… Whether you're set on catching waves, hiking Smugglers Cove, or exploring the charming towns of Cannon Beach and Manzanita, our picturesque property provides the perfect basecamp for your adventures. Sites range from secluded two person hideouts to large open group sites for 30 people. With this unique setting, why settle for a traditional campsite ever again? Embrace the majesty of Timber Ridge Ranch. Disclaimers: We had one person say that this place is not 2 Wheel Drive accessible. Therefore we highly recommend four-wheel-drive (4WD)! There have been cougar, bear, and elk sightings, so please don’t leave food out and be careful! Although Short Sands Beach / Oswald State Park is close, it’s not really walkable. However, it is only two miles South on Hwy 101 to the parking lots from our gate. Most of the campsites are about a mile up the hill from our main entrance. So a total of about 3 miles to Shorty’s. Fair warning: All of these sites are great for car camping and not great for tent camping. There is lots of rocks and not a lot of grass padding. Lastly; there are no bathrooms! Please make sure you bring your own bathroom! If we find any messes left we do charge a $250 fine. Thank you for for helping us keep our sites beautiful and safe for all!

⭐️ RATED 10/10 ON vrbo ⭐️ Welcome to The Shack—a 548 sq ft portal to a slower frequency, set on .36 acres just minutes from the Pacific. Inside, things get groovy. The space is compact but dialed with bold color, vintage touches, and just enough weirdness to keep it interesting. It’s the kind of place where time stretches a bit, plans dissolve, and suddenly you’re three games deep at the pool table wondering what day it is. Out back, the energy shifts. A detached guest house doubles as a quiet little library—your personal hideaway for reading, napping, or disappearing into your own head for a while. It’s a softer space to balance the buzz, and a favorite for slow mornings and late-night wind-downs. What you’ll find: ● Pool table for late-night tournaments and questionable trick shots ● Detached guest house library (read, nap, repeat) ● Easy access to the beach ● 36 acres to stretch out and breathe ● A psychedelic, one-of-a-kind interior

We look forward to sharing this magical area with you! P.S. There is a neighboring homestead with 2 very friendly dogs who may come to say hello during your stay.
