The power pole distance is longer than 30 feet so make sure your cable has an extension. The 110 gfi kept popping with a 110 adapter, so do not try to opt for a typical extension cable adapter you might use with your house. The dip is no joke. Make sure you have your hitch a bit higher. The spot is decently flat. The view is awesome. The loud music from neighboring homes is mostly day and evening but not overnight. We had a 22ft travel trailer. For the tent campers, the public bathrooms close at dusk.

Host: Chasen was easy to work with and readily available whenever I needed to reach him.
Site: Clean, flat. — great if you’re into fishing. Not you expect great natural view.
Noise: Be aware there was loud party music from the house next door late into the night, a constant droning sound from a nearby factory, and occasional car traffic on the pier.
Highlight: There’s a café nearby, which was a nice convenience.

I booked this site because I wanted a short drive to the beach and the State Park was booked. It was a very small slice of land next to someone’s house (not the host).
We had a tent and it was awkward with the neighbors in close proximity and people driving by.
The area next to the water is nice and the spot is fine for someone with an RV who wants to go crabbing, I actually would recommend it under those circumstances but not to someone who will be sleeping in a tent (like us).
We booked for two nights but only stayed for one.

Tokeland beach front campsite
First of all we had a great stay here. We enjoyed the location, the waterfront, the views, the nearby amenities, Nelson's Crab across the street (seafood deli, light food fare, espresso), it's close to the highway and other coast communities, etc.
But, as a seasoned Hipcamp family, here's what we think you should know about this site:
- This site has two narrow openings for backing in vehicles, campers, etc. These narrow openings have a bit of a drop off of the street, our 19' camper drug our camper jacks trying to park. Trucks with a slide camper, no problem, but large campers be cautious.
- This site has a tree directly above one side of the two narrow parking areas. Due to the drop off from the street, had to utilize the side under the tree. Our standard height camper roof and AC unit took a small beating trying to get parked. Taller campers should be cautious.
- This site DOES have electricity. The pole in the photo is there, but not listed as an amenity on the listing. But can confirm, it's there.
