Curley Creek Canyon

8 sites · RVs, Tents10 acres · Port Orchard, WA
Forest camping on a huckleberry farm with a salmon stream. 10 acres of permaculture and mycology includes 5 granite fire pits and loop trails with dispersed tent sites. A remote island, naturist beach and kayak at the creek. Parking is limited. Guests love it here: "We stayed two nights at Curley Creek Canyon and loved the experience! Jerrett was a wonderful host and met us upon arrival with great recommendations of places to explore on his beautiful property. The camp sites are clean, private, and have fire pits, and benches provided. We took the roped trail down to the creek (bring gloves its a bit steep) and saw large groups of salmon swim upstream. This time of year is magical with the dropping leafs and lush moss/fungus sightings. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick getaway from the city to connect to nature. Thanks, Jerrett for the experience and look forward to our next visit!"

Bumps & Bruzas

3 sites · RVs, Tents5 acres · Orting, WA
I recently bought this place from a friend's family. The name is in honor of him, "Bruzas in Bumps & Bruzas." He loved having people out all the time for fires and BBQs and just random fun. This place was went meant to be shared in his vision, so thats what I'm doing with it.The setup is simple, we are a property on the Carbon River with nearly 800ft of river front access. The levee runs along the length of the property creating continuous camping availability. Please honor the property and adopt the LEAVE NO TRACE habits~ if possible please leave it better than you found it. We're a casual family friendly environment. We look forward to seeing you at our special property on the Carbon River. Please contact us for any other questions you may have!

Wishkah Blue

1 site · RV, Tent4 acres · Hoquiam, WA
Two years ago I bought this property, cleaned it up and changed an old local 1930s grocery store into my pottery studio. I continue to try to be a good steward to this little piece of land with very big trees. One side faces my studio with drive through access to a bunkhouse and hookups and the other is tent camping with room to explore. With a dog yard available you will be able to relax and enjoy.Learn more about this land:Part meadow part stand of very tall trees, over 70 years old with birds, hummingbirds, deer. Choose to camp there or in a wheelchair excessable drive next to a 1940 era grocery store that is now my pottery studio. A large bunkhouse is also on site in case of rain, if not rented. Welcome to our picturesque property boasting stunning views of the serene Dyes Inlet cove, where the mesmerizing sunrises and sunsets paint the sky with intense colors. Spanning 2.8 acres, our estate offers an expansive waterfront, hosting both an inviting Airbnb and a well-appointed campsite. Immerse yourself in the tranquil waters with a leisurely canoe or kayak excursion, or, during low tide, don a pair of the provided rubber boots for an enchanting stroll around the point. Our intimate cove is a haven for bird enthusiasts, featuring an eagle nest perched on the edge of our property, along with blue herons, numerous ducks, and an array of other bird species. Fischer's Place on the Estuary

1 site · Lodging6 acres · Union, WA
My family bought this property from a wonderful man renowned in the world of plant pathology. My father once asked him, "George, what is the secret to a long and happy life?" George took a deep breath and exhaled. He smiled, a twinkle in his eye, and said, "Randy, (dramatic pause), don't worry, {another lengthy pause) don't hurry." We are fortunate to live here, and we want to share the beauty with you. Please stay here and take a moment free of worry and free of hurry. About the hosts: Camas and her father, Randy, co-host this property. One or both will be onsite at all times should any issue arise. Please message if you need a last-minute booking and it appears to be blocked. We can't do an "instant book," but there's always a possibility that we can accommodate you. About the site: This 17-foot 2005 Jay Feather Ultra Lite trailer is clean and cozy - perfect for one or two people. A third person is welcome, but it will likely be a little cramped. The double bed has a memory foam mattress and is made-up with quality sheets. Towels are provided at no extra cost. The kitchen has a 3 burner propane stove and oven, a small fridge, a microwave, and sink. Coffee, tea, tea kettle, French Press, creamer, and sugar are provided, as well as a few dishes, a pot and pan, and utensils. The spring water is sourced directly from our property and filtered, so you can enjoy it from the tap! In my opinion, it's some of the best water around - feel free to fill up before you depart. The site is set back from WA-State Route 106, but only by about 20 yards. There is traffic noise during the day, but it's not too bad, and it is typically pretty quiet at night. Hopefully you enjoy the sounds of wildlife ~ birds, lapping waves, and even a creek add to the experience. A panoramic view of the estuary is one of the best parts of this property. It's dreamy, really. With the tide changing every 6 hours, you just can't get bored. You may fall asleep to tide flats and wake up to what feels like a lake. If you like being on or in the water - bring some kayaks, surf or paddle boards, and some high quality water shoes (never go barefoot!). You will have access to 400 feet of private beach and tide flats. Kayaking is tide dependent - recommendations for paddle times will be in the binder. (Currently closed to harvesting 6/23) If you have your shellfish license, feel free to harvest a few oysters or clams (depending on DOH recommendations) . Be aware - it is a rustic beach, and it is across the highway, so watch for traffic and watch your step on the beach. Our house is within sight of the trailer, but you have to make an effort to see it. From our house, we can only see the parking spot, and due to shrubbery & a shed, we can't hear talking voices, so it is pretty private. We do have 2 very friendly, small dogs who will undoubtedly alert us to your arrival, but they stay on our deck and quiet down right away. A welcome binder and maps will help you get an idea of the area. For a tiny town, Union has a LOT to offer - there are several dining choices within a few miles. Union was even listed in the top 10 "Prettiest Towns in America" in Forbes Magazine in 2009! Learn more about this land: One of a kind view of the Skokomish Estuary and Olympic Mountains. Enjoy a different scene with the changing tide. Bald Eagles, Salmon, Great Herons. One night stays may be optional for an additional fee. Message for more info before booking.
