Use the boat launch to get out on the water or fish from the 100-foot dock. When looking for boat rentals, remember the lake has a 5-mph speed limit. The park offers kayaks, paddleboards, and pedal boats rentals along with two swimming areas.
A little over eight miles of hiking trails meander through the cedar and fir trees. Along the trail, catch sight of wildlife and bird species. If you prefer biking, this park has you covered with 7.6 miles of trail.
During peak season, grab a burger or pizza from the Lakeside Grill and Boats with the family.
Settle into one of the 120 standard campsites that accommodate trailers up to 35 feet. RV owners can select one of the 48 campsites with partial hookups.
There are a couple of group campsites that include a historic kitchen shelter to whip up a meal. The park offers a snack bar and firewood for sale.
The best time to visit Millersylvania State Park is during the summer, from 6:30am to dusk, when all facilities are open and the weather is ideal for outdoor activities. Winter offers a quieter visit from 8am to dusk, but be mindful of seasonal flooding and trail closures.
