I love love LOVE this place!! Camp spot #2 is gorgeous. Overlooks the river and surrounded by trees. Only a 10 minute walk to the private beach. I definitely will be back!

This is like boondocking without the worry of finding a spot. Very remote and SO BEAUTIFUL. We had spots one and two. Both have amazing views of the river but spot 2 is private. (You have bushes seperating from the road. ) Spot 1 has 2 trees you can hang a hammock between on the edge of the cliff and you can lay there and gaze at the river. We were lucky and had the place to ourselves. THE BEACH! Stunning and secluded with lots of sand. We brought our paddle boards and had a blast just floating around. We will definitely be going back!!

Me and 6 of my friends went here for a night in may. Weather was great and so was the location. I little tricky to find but once you find the driveway just follow the arrows. Overall was a great trip with a great view!

Great site for big groups

Site B was a beautiful, big, and secluded location, great for larger camp groups. Getting back out of the grounds was a little tricky with a short and steep dirt hill, but weather was dry and we were able to get all our cars including a FWD sedan in and out without too much trouble. The river water wasn't as cold as I had expected, very refreshing on the 80 degree weekend. Bugs/mosquitos weren't a big problem despite being near the water.

Great spot right on the river! We had an awesome time. Hosts were friendly and attentive. We did have an issue with other parties being loud and disruptive late into the night. However, the hosts dealt with it promptly the following morning and we were able to enjoy the full beauty and peace and quiet of this location. We would definitely camp here again.

My son and I had a great time on Justen and Jenn’s beautiful property. We will definitely return! Loved the availability of firewood and the communal fire pit and chairs on the beach.
It was delightfully quiet, except for the logging trucks out on Spirit Lake Hwy, and that’s far away enough not to be an issue. A lot of the day, we didn’t hear any at all— just ravens, jays and kingfishers.

This site was lovely! Plenty of space for a larger group, lots of flat spaces for tents or camper vans. Justen and Jenn checked on us as a thunderstorm was coming through to make sure we had what needed -- much appreciated! The site sits on a high bank above the river. While there are beautiful views of the water, access is a little challenging directly from this site. Easier access with the sites that are closer (A, 1, and 2). Trade off is privacy though!

This was an awesome spot ! Rough road getting in but totally doable ! Directions were super clear which was nice. The spot had a great view of the river but access was pretty steep. There is great access to the river for everyone a couple spots over. The river was sandy and we had a lovely time swimming.

This was a lovely spot to camp. Easy access to a beautiful river that is super great to float with very few people around. Our party pretty much had the entire river to ourselves. Bald eagles and deer were everywhere and the trickle of the river next to the site was super pleasant. While the camp next to us was pretty close, they were far enough removed through the trees that it didn't really matter. I really wanted to be off the grid this weekend and this served the purpose wonderfully.

definitely bare bones camp site but you can't beat the proximity to the beautiful river ! spacious area for large groups. great swimming and hanging out on the river bank. very kind hosts who stopped by to say hi and check in but did not linger.

This site is really private and we loved the sound of the river at night. The common area for the river entry is awesome and has access to a sandy part of the river. Oddly it was a warm river too, would recommend! It is a bit dusty though

Had a great time camping here. It's very remote and the site was private. The river was amazing. We had blow up chairs and floated down the river a bit. I do not think their is fish in it though. The fire pit was great. The gas grill was really a nice feature. Great spot for a hot summer weekend. I would go back to this spot again. Thank you to the owners for letting us stay their.

Our first time using HipCamp and we couldn’t have had a better time, in a better spot. Our site felt secluded, but still so close to the river.

Beautiful massive forested property with river that has sand beaches! You are unlikely to get cell service on the property, but this is a huge benefit. It was incredible to be unplugged surrounded by miles and miles of pure forest and beautiful scenery. The experience completely reset my mind in the best way.
4-wheel drive is recommended for driving to the campsite areas. That said, using a Honda Pilot, we were able to pull our small camper trailer to our campsite no problem. My only reservation is campsite's #1 and #2 are together relative to how huge the property is (roughly 50ft). If there are babies or young children, they are very easy to hear. That said, this location is in their early stages of development, so still figuring things out. If you have a larger ground, I highly recommend reserving both #1 and #2.

Stayed at Campsite B and it was very chill. Plenty of room for groups. You're really out in the woods here and right near a beautiful river. The river was about waist deep/ chest deep for me when I was there at the deepest part. The fishing was good too, only had luck with some Mountain Whitefish.

It was a beautiful camp site with a really nice view! The only downside was that it was a little hard to find (the directions tried to take me through another fence/property) and when I did find the correct fence to go through, the trail down to the site was a bit rough even while driving my 2000 Dodge Durango. With that being said, I still definitely recommend this campsite and had a ton of fun!

Personally we won’t be returning. My friend and I booked dispersed camp spots A & B and yet now our listing is showing as tent spots? We were charged nearly $200 for each spot for just a weekend so almost $400… We each went over the description and even though we new it was “dispersed” (so not a typical camp site) we still felt that when we showed up the spots we were given the choice of were not at all what the listing had described. They had quite literally just been either mowed down or began to be worked on by a small tractor. There was no level ground for tents or even our tables to stand we had to just make it work at that point though as we all had driven hours from home with our young children. There were sticker bushes and even blackberry bushes all around our site, tree roots and branches all over. It was as if they last minute made these spots they weren’t cleaned up or at all ready for campers. Honestly the spots shouldn’t have even been listed yet especially not at the price they were!
The people who had taken over the rest of the camp were a very large group that literally partied the entire weekend blasting music until 2am or later every night. They would immediately occupy and take over nearly the entire beach area each day and would deliberately break the rule of not parking on the path and had it blocked by like 8 vehicles at one point.

River front was an amazing spot to hangout during this heatwave! Justen and Jenn were so helpful. Pay close attention to the address when trying to find this site, google maps takes you a little further down the road than the actual entrance.

I had a very peaceful night at Justen and Jenns site #2. Being able to drive right up to the site was perfect and I found a good hammock site. I also appreciated the locked gate and signage on their land. Looks like they are creating more sites for the future and I’m sure it will be awesome. I imagine it would be pretty difficult for a low clearance vehicle to make it down the road to the sites. I felt comfortable with my dogs off leash which was also very nice. Thanks for the visit!

Camping at Justen & Jenn's place was amazing! It was a short drive to Mt. Saint Helens, so it made a perfect basecamp for a weekend of hiking. The campground itself was beautiful and right on the river. There weren't many others on site staying when we were there, so it was peaceful and felt as if we had the campground to ourselves. We would definitely stay again!
