Freshwater Bay Park is one mile East and Crescent beach is less about a 15 minute drive. Lake Crescent is about 20 minutes away. The two campsites are set back in the trees behind the house but there are views of the Strait from both campsites. Full signal WiFi at 30-50 Mbps. There is also one spot for a camper van with electric and water, however there is parking for three vehicles so more than one camper van is possible. The electric is 20 amp service. There is a gas hot water shower available to all campers. There is access to the Bluff overlook with a spectacular view and a fire pit. Firewood is provided. The mouth of the Lyre River flows right alongside our beach — just a short walk from where you’ll be staying. Skip the crowds and enjoy the Lost Coast in a private setting. The property is waterfront on the Strait of Juan De Fuca, and is secluded at the end of the road. Freshwater Bay Park is one mile East and Crescent beach is less about a 15 minute drive. Lake Crescent is about 20 minutes away. The two campsites are set back in the trees behind the house but there are views of the Strait from both campsites. Full signal WiFi at 30-50 Mbps. There is also one spot for a camper van with electric and water, however there is parking for three vehicles so more than one camper van is possible. The electric is 20 amp service. There is a gas hot water shower available to all campers. There is access to the Bluff overlook with a spectacular view and a fire pit. Firewood is provided. There is a trail going down from the bluff to a private Cove. The trail has steps carved into the hillside and a rope railing so it is very accessible.

Water hook up required pumping, so we used our tank. Beautiful location perfectly situated for exploring some truly stunning scenery.

What a peaceful location. Site are nice, flat and graveled. We arrived to an easy check-in, site selection and quietness. The location had a great fire pit, picnic table and close access to the restroom with shower. Everything was clean and organized. There is a great little restaurant and general store about .5 mile away. Great location and great host.

This was our first time using Hipcamp and we had placed Shangri LaPush on our favorites list a while ago and decided it was finally time to go! This place did not disappoint! Dale was a wonderful host and very welcoming! The bathroom was clean and warm in the chilly weather, and our camp site was clean and spacious for our setup. We loved that it was dog friendly (we travel with our fur pups) and equipped with a doggy poop trash can. We used the water from the well spigot a lot and even the kids had no problem getting the water for our camp. We saw some beautiful stars in the night sky and enjoyed the view of all the gorgeous trees. We did hear some road noise but it wasn't bad and it honestly did not take away from our experience whatsoever. Very good location close to Forks, the beaches, and some quick convenience stores. The whole family agreed we will be coming back to make more great memories here!

The property is directly on the shoreline of the Strait of Juan de Fuca….beautiful! Site 2 is spacious. Harrison gave us some fresh eggs from his coop…tasty. He also gave me sound advice to launch from the river channel with my sea kayak to get through the surf zone more easily. We saw seals and a sea otter from shore. A little piece of “heaven!”

Tent spot 1 was perfect for a rooftop tent! A couple of sandy places next to the beach would work for a standard. The host came up to us after a bit for the check in, and told us it was good to drive down on the sand. We will likely be back! The sound of the waves of the background knocked us out so good.
