It can accommodate two tents and up 4 adults or up to 6 people with children comfortably.
On-site amenities include a firepit, picnic table, trash can, sun umbrellas, camp chairs, Adirondack chairs, and floaties for your enjoyment. Additionally, a honeybucket is available in the parking lot for your convenience.
Please note that the boat lift and on-site cabana are not available for camper use. There is no electricity so please be prepared to bring your own lighting. (There is a set of string party lights at the site that utilize solar power and click on at dusk automatically). Various chairs, paddle boards, tents and other items shown in images may belong to guests and are not all included in the rental. Please inquire if you have any questions regarding specifics of what is included.
No parties, group events or gatherings. Bookings are limited to small groups and single family camping trips. The maximum guest count for the site is 6 people including children or 4 adults. All guests (day or night) must be included in the reservation headcount.
Parking is conveniently located along East Lake Sammamish Pkwy in the Inglewood Hill Parking Lot, and the site is accessed a couple of blocks away via a staircase along the E Lk Sammamish Pkwy Trail.
We recommend bringing a cart or folding wagon to haul gear from the lot to the site if you’re not packing light.
**The structure in the image is a cabana currently being used for storage of personal family belongings. No one will be accessing or staying in the structure during your stay.
There is a security camera installed on site. This camera is not monitored during guest stays but is used to monitor the property for security purposes when there are no current or active reservations.
There is a family that keeps their boat on the lift out in front of the property, who may access their boat from time to time, and uses the South end of the site for access. This should be minimally disruptive, if at all, as they only use a small portion of the site for ingress/egress to their boat.
Please note that Lake Sammamish is located in an urban area. This is not a remote lake or location, and as such, there are frequent boaters on the lake, active recreation on the water, and neighboring properties that occasionally have occupants, as well as the potential associated noise that comes with these things. Unfortunately, we cannot predict or control these things. That said, the vast majority of mornings at the site are very quiet and peaceful.
You may notice small pieces of glass on the beach. These are beach glass— hundreds of them wash up every winter. We pick up the ones we spot but they’re hard to see a lot of times. Either way they’re almost always dull as they’ve been worn down by the water and years of being washed against the rocks. **

The parking lot is behind trees, approx 50 ft from the main road which has regular daily traffic and noise driving by at the top of the site. It quiets down after work in the evenings. Dogs bark because they are dogs, but when you go deep into the forest you can barely hear the road or the dogs. The parking area can only be located there, in order to maintain the ecology of Ames Creek.
The entrance is down through either of two driveways from the main road, on a horseshoe loop drive-through, to the L-shaped parking lot. Tent camping is 4 to 6 total soft pads in the forest near the parking sites. Note: Ames Creek does dry up in mid-summer.
For large RVs maneuvering skills are required to park on the level 23 ft long parking pads in the parking area down the hill from the road. It is a U-shaped drive-through, flat at the bottom of the small driveway hill.

Everyone who sees it remarks that this forest is beautiful. It has a main trail and many small pathways between ferns and hillocks. In an effort to preserve and protect this wild habitat, we have already planted 200 + Western Red Cedars, Douglas Firs, salal, snowberry, native current, and other native vegetation.
This is a great private spot for an RV or similar vehicles and 2 tent circles.
A firepit, and porta-potty next to each pad, another firepit in one of the 2 tent circles for each RV parking pad site.
A completely natural untouched Pacific moss rainforest about 30 miles inland on the foothills of the Mount Baker–Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington State. Some areas it is likely no one has ever walked on.
Bring mosquito repellent. Be aware of kids and dogs near road entrances, as well as near the creek in the winter.
It is located near major fun sites, it is a wilderness playground!
Ames Creek dries up mid-July and returns in Sept/Oct. There are a lot of little paths crisscrossing the creek, likely raccoon and deer trails.
We are happy to have your dogs visit - they will love it!

Campfires are welcome in the designated fire pit at the bottom of our hill. Please note there are quite a few steep steps to get there. Please request using this area in advance.
Option to purchase farm fresh eggs from our neighbors chickens. Half dozen are $5.00 and can be requested in advance.

Alexia truly has a magical farm that’s also close by to town. The campsite was clean, welcoming, and in the middle of a network of trails with access to a creek and a well maintained outhouse. It was a lovely easy stay and I would absolutely return! Highly recommend!

This was a very spacious RV site, there was enough space for me to pull through, around the site and out with my 20 ft trailer. I loved the fire pit, the nature sounds and the view of the moon at night!! My cats loved looking at the lil goats. It was very peaceful and a much needed decompression time. Quiet neighborhood surrounded by park, beach and stores. We had a broken appliance in our camper that needed a quick replacement part via mail order and Patrick graciously let us take delivery at the site. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful farm in a central Kingston location! We stayed at Alan & Marcy's RV site (water only) for a long weekend near to our extended family in Indianola who were putting on a family reunion. We have a 35' Class A RV that was easy to park using the good access and circular drive. We really only stayed at night, but it was such easy access and Alan & Marcy were SO helpful & accommodating! We enjoyed the sound of the cows lowing quietly at night and hope to return again someday to visit more with the hosts who have a LOVELY place and were very welcoming!

This is my second time camping at Tera’s property. She is a very helpful and communicative person. The property is beautiful and all amenities are clean and well maintained. Her shuttle to Remlinger Farms is super convenient if you’re seeing a concert there. I will definitely be returning if I’m ever in the area.

Overall, I had a lovely stay and would recommend this campground, but I think it's important to know that the current condition doesn't match the listing photos.
It looks like this was once a thoughtfully designed space, but some areas have fallen into disrepair. The shared gathering area shown in the photos has been overtaken by weeds, the metal table is rusted, and the picnic table is warped and splintered enough that I couldn't comfortably use it. None of this ruined my stay, but it did make the property feel different than expected.
The price is similar to a KOA, but without the amenities. If the cost reflected the property's current condition, I wouldn't have any concerns.
The porta potty was immaculate throughout my stay and was serviced while I was there. The only downside was that the door doesn't fully close or lock.
All of the campsites are nice, but Site #2 was my favorite with its beautiful large shade tree. You'll also want a 50-foot extension cord to reach the electrical pedestal.
The highlight was the sweet black cat who greeted guests and loved to cuddle!
Overall, I enjoyed my stay. I just hope the listing photos are updated—or the common areas restored—so future guests know what to expect.

Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest
Soar above sea-level at Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Just over an hour north of Kirkland at the edge of Mount Rainier National Park, Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest boasts glacial landscapes, old growth forests, and mountainside meadows. Year-round activities await as the national forest offers onsite campgrounds, trailheads, sno-parks, and water sites. For those hoping to summit Mt. Baker, glacial-climbing gear is a must. Due to its high elevation, the park sees snow well into the year, so prepare for cold weather until late June and even July.
Belfair State Park
Wander west to the pebble beaches of Belfair State Park. About two hours from Kirkland in the Hood Canal, Belfair features wetlands and beaches. Known for its gentle winds, this park is ideal for wind-surfing, kite-flying, and kayaking. With three camping loops, waterfront sites, full hookups, and first-come, first-served primitive camping, this state park has campsites for everyone. There are also three restroom locations with showers.
Bridle Trails State Park
Built into the landscape of Kirkland itself, Bridle Trails State Park brings equestrians, hikers, and horses together. Known as “the wilderness in the city” and as one of the top equestrian parks west of the Mississippi, Bridle Trails is home to four sporting arenas and 28 miles of trails. Campers can enjoy the day-use picnic area featuring BBQs, water, and restrooms, though it is encouraged to get there early—especially on weekends. Despite the lack of onsite camping, there are nearby campsites in Kirkland, Redmond, and Bellevue.
When to go
The oceanic climate of Kirkland, Washington has warmer temperatures throughout the year and significant rainfall. Summer months are generally dry and reach average highs around 77°F. May and October see temperatures above 60°F during the day and in the 40s at night. As the weather cools, the rain arrives making December and January the coldest, wettest months. With highs in the mid-40s and dropping to the low 30s overnight, winter campers should come prepared with layers and look for warmer accommodations if needed.
