Take a break from the city and connect with nature by staying at our magical farm property located on the very south end of Whidbey Island, WA (12 minutes from the Clinton ferry dock). You can enjoy such activities as swinging in one of the many hammocks, getting goldfish pedicures, feeding some of the sweet animals, singing with the parrot, doing goat yoga or goagility (don't bother Googling it because it doesn't exist anywhere else), picking fresh fruits and vegetables for dinner you can prepare in our outdoor cabana kitchen, eating s'mores at one of the many firepits, visiting the beautiful flower gardens or simply enjoying the peace and quiet. Wildlife galore including bald and golden eagles, red tail hawks, deer, raccoons, heron and coyotes. Some nights, we have live music in the evening by one of South Whidbey's amazing bands and beer flowing from the taps built into the wall of the cabana. It is just me and an occasional worker operating the property so you may see us weeding, milking goats, feeding farm animals, or watering some of the many gardens. You are encouraged to participate in activities on the farm and children are welcome to do the same. We are 5 minutes from Bailey's Corner Store, Whidbey's best burger joint, which has great music various nights of the week, and Ogres Brewery which also has great entertainment and beer. Langley and Freeland are each 20 minutes away.

Aerie Oasis

I unfortunately did not have a good experience at this hipcamp. When I got there the host let me know that one of her farm workers had been sleeping in the “ glamping tent” that I had booked, and still had belongings in there. This was several hours after check in time, and obviously there would be no cleaning up the space before my arrival. The port o potty was not close to the tent either. The host told me I could not smoke outside on the property, even though it was not listed in her host rules on Hipcamp. Had it been, I would not have booked it. I left and had to find last minute accommodation at a premium price, as I had to be there for work the next day. Very disappointing. I wish I would have also looked at the dates of the four reviews that she has listed as they were all within a few days of each other, and that’s just weird. I love Hipcamp, and probably go on about 12 to 15 trips a year with them, and have always had a great experience, so this was unexpected.

Geoduck Flats

This property was one of the most magical spots I’ve ever hip camped at. You can tell a lot of love and had work has gone into this place. The kitchen made us forget we were camping and the animals made me want my own farm! Debi was an amazing host and definitely gave us a Taste of Whidbey. Truly lucky to of stumbled on her property for our girls weekend. The only thing I regret is not staying longer. Can’t wait to return!

Whimsical fairy tale campground

We loved A Taste of Whidbey! This is such a beautiful place to stay! The pond and garden are amazing to look at and all the animals on the property are so friendly! We loved watching the peacock and we met a very sweet cat that tried to sneak into our tent at night for a cuddle! It rained the whole weekend but we were still able to enjoy the place! The outdoor shower looked lovely! I would have used it if the rain had gone away!

Eclectic Island Camping

We enjoyed camping on GeoducK Flats and were easily able to set up three tents. It was an easy walk to the port a potty and the outdoor kitchen. Lovely place to stay in Southern Whidbey.
