Farm, Forest, Happy People
This was our second time camping here. It was nice to see new animals explore the farm. We found a freshly laid duck egg on the ground! The campsite is secluded and nice to hike in. We loved building a fire in and eating in the yurt.

Friendly farm, happy kids!
Spot was absolutely wonderful! With small kids, it was nice to be close to town but not feel like it, and the all adored the tour of the farm and being able to feed animals and learn about the farming process. There was plenty of woods for the kids to also feel like they could 'explore' still. The yurt as a central gathering spot was great to have and the composting toilet was a big step up from your normal outhouse.

Loved it!
Our group loved it! The kids enjoyed seeing all the animals and adults loved having the site to ourselves. The yurt was amazing and surprisingly warm once the fire was going. Alexia and the farm team have put so much effort and care into the farm and it was a great experience. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Country Spot
Great spot outside the bustle of the city. Beautiful property and a lovely little cabin in the woods. So peaceful to come back to after a day in the concrete jungle. Will definitely be back to this spot. Alexia was great and communication was prompt and super helpful.

Peaceful Little Cabin
What a beautiful permaculture farm . The owners work in many ways to support more sustainable forests, landscapes, and communities: let’s definitely support them !!!
This small Hipcamp cabin is a masterful, artisan cabin built by the owners. The ART, in its creation, is evident everywhere: from the whole cabin design to the smallest beautiful details- making it a very healing & inspiring space.
It is a great place to camp and a very peaceful place to hang out and read/journal/work. Bonus: your eno hammock will easily hang on front porch from logs that are part of the cabin.
There is a mattress provided in the tiny loft and it is very comfortable. It provides a comfortable sleep. From the sleeping loft there is a beautiful triangle window looking out to trees on the farm: conifers and deciduous (the elder trees were in bloom).
Having a clean/cotton sheet on the mattress and pillows with cases was very appreciated and a thoughtful touch.
The composting toilet is very close to the cabin- a nice convenience. And it is clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
The people and the landscape at this farm make camping in the little cabin a true oasis. Birds, plants, trees, with adjacent forested area for camping and walking.
I love that there is are several individuals living/working on the farm. A small organic farm community- and everyone is very kind.
An organic farm is a gift to the community it lives in.
Many blessings To Hawthorn Farm

Relaxing hobbit style.
Their little hobbit cabin was darling inside and out! I was greeted with smiles and a simple lay of the land. I immediately picked raspberries and settled in.
I met the resident horse and miniature horse while going to the composting toilet. In the morning, I met the ducks and a wild rabbit. Everything was great.

Cabin with a Farm Visit
This place is a treat. The cabin is small and cozy. I loved reading on the built in bench with the soft fur. My boys loved the goats and bunnies, especially the baby bunnies. You should take a morning stroll along the trail. It is like walking through a magical forest. Definitely a unique and wonderful place to stay.

We loved every moment of our stay here. Our multi generational group with small kids enjoyed camping in their mini forest with great amenities in this lovely hipcamp location. The tour of the place at the start and being able to spend unlimited time with the animals was amazing and loved by the kids. The adults enjoyed having easy access to a lot of firewood at the campsite and spent a lot of joyous time around campfire. Definitely coming back in the future.

Great Cabin for 1-2 people!
Had a great experience at Alexia's Raspberry Cabin! The cabin is on a beautiful farm with many things to see with nice greenery. The sleeping space is quite small with very little space to really move around.. but other than that the cabin is very well planned out and cozy! The compostable outhouse was also clean and the shower ran hot water without any issues! Hosts were friendly and very responsive.

Tranquil place, fresh air!
This was my first time using HipCamp. I am trying to heal from an environmental illness and need to spend as much time outdoors as possible. The air could not be fresher, and I had the huge campsite all for myself. Of course with my kind of luck, the weather forecast changed to rain. No problem, Alexia helped me hanging a tarp above the tent because I have not done this before. Even when raining, it was nice and not cold. The bathroom is clean for a compost toilet and the shower has hot water. In 2 days that I was staying here, my energy improved. Will definitely come back!

Farm and forest camping!
This place is amazing if you have kids and are a tentative camper. The owner Alexia is a true gem and has created an oasis that must be experienced to understand. There are nooks and crannies for kids to explore freely while the grown-ups enjoy the peacefulness of nature. Say “hi” to the goats, bunnies, chickens, ducks and ponies on your way to the lovely forested camp area with a covered shelter with a fire pit if it rains and ample firewood. The composting toilet is clean and well appointed. There is a little stream that the kids can splash around in. Lots of shade to keep cool. We had so much fun and people who were willing to set up a tent and sleep over came and joined us for s’mores and adult beverages while the kids ran around and played until dark. Next time I will plan a little ahead to reserve an educational tour but Jenn was generous enough time give us an informal tour and even let my daughter bottle feed the baby goat. Love this spot. Keep in mind you aren’t in the wilderness or really a rural area so there are houses and non-nature sounds around that I don’t think detracted from this sweet property.

Woman's fire circle
I brought some women for a woman's circle and everyone had a lovely time. The connection around a fire in the woods is such a powerful thing. It brings out some amazing stories and creates community.

Don't miss out on this gem of a place to stay. There is so much care in this place and we got to have cuddles with some baby goats. The forest was so luscious and beautiful with mornings of waking to bird songs. Hawthorn Farm is a place of magic and I highly recommend this stay.

Great first camping experience
PNW weather is all over the map but here it didn’t matter! We had a day/night of rain but the canopy of trees shielded us as the kids explored the trails and the parents enjoyed the fire- firewood provided was a huge plus! The yurt was great for packing up in the rain. My daughter’s favorite part was visiting with the baby goats and bunnies! We’ve camped a good amt but this is definitely the easiest. First time camper, do it!
