Chom's RV Campground staff have been working on an extensive remodel, so bare with us as we are new here too! (Update:work has paused on buildings) Camping is unaffected as there are still plenty of woods to explore here. The initial appearance of the old laundry(to be restored in near future), might send confusion. The bathrooms are completely ready to use and we have hot showers!
Also, we just finished making an amazing nature walk along the river, where you can find blackberries, huckleberries, salmon berries, and even apples, (depending on the time of year). There are birds to watch, among many other types of wildlife. I will be adding more pictures of more campsites soon!

Last Chance Getaway is a small eleven acre farm exceptionally situated in the gorgeous Walla Walla Valley. There are level access and pull through camp sites along the Burlingame Canal and the South fork of the Little Walla Walla river (a creek). Enjoy nature here on the Old Oregon trail in the form of beaver ponds, coyote song, deer trails, bird watching and star gazing - just a half mile from the historic Whitman Mission.
Park on the partial pavement (Mountain and Garden Sites) or drive gently on the grass to one of the well separated sites. Each site has its own picnic table and fire pit.
There is self service firewood for sale. Fresh eggs most days. Both available as an "extra" on the app. ($10, $5)
Orchard Site and Park Site are shady and cool on the north side of the drive. Park Site is nestled in the trees next to the barn. Orchard site has mature trees for both shade and sunshine. Park site is closest to a water spigot and is within reach of a 110amp electrical outlet with your extension cord. No A/C or high amp use please.
Mountain Site and Garden site are both situated along the Burlingame Canal, a historic waterway and engineering marvel worth googling. Both have an unobstructed east facing view of farmland and the Blue Mountains - perfect for full moons and sunrises. These two sites are generally in the shade around dinner time. Note: The canal is empty August and Sept
Creekside Site is the newest site. Fully fenced. Full hook up. Private and secluded.

This property offers tranquility, with occasional visits from deer, coyote, owls, rabbits, and eagles. River access is just a short distance away, providing opportunities for fishing, sunbathing, or floating along the Cowlitz River.
Just follow the pink flagging from our "Black Tail River Trail" sign at the south end of the grounds along the mowed path into the woods to the river. Approx 750' from the sign.
*please note: Rivers by nature change. Every year the beach here changes due to the dam's releasing water in the winter/spring and also weather related flooding. Sometimes our beach is large, some years it's small. Access to beach changes as well. There is a steep decline to the beach in 2026, but the beach is much larger this year than last!
Conveniently located near the towns of Kelso and Longview, and only 2.7 miles from Castle Rock. A day trip to Mt St Helens is very possible.
Two full hookup sites are available, two water/power sites, along with ample dry camping areas. We have a porta potty as well.
Horses are welcome on the property, we are looking at building a corral in the near future. We also welcome leashed/penned and friendly pets. Dogs can be off leash at the river only, but be courteous and aware of other dogs. Please clean up after your animals!
Cell phone coverage is good here, we do not have wifi available.
We offer firewood for sale (cash) and allow propane fire pits in our gravel fire pits during burn bans. We follow the Cowlitz County ban, July 15-Sept 30.
We also have a community fire pit for our dry campers (or large groups) called the Lave Pit, directly across from our dry camp area. It's located in the middle of the loop.
Motorized off-road vehicles are allowed for transport of gear to/from the river and also for those with mobile disabilities or difficulties. We ask that you are respectful of the trails and drive slowly.
Please note: we will no longer refund due to poor weather. Hipcamp offers insurance for this.
No fireworks allowed.
*During Independence day celebrations, our neighbors usually participate with fireworks though. Be aware it can be loud.

Rural farm camp in Yakima's west valley. This relaxed campsite is bordered by fruit orchards and farms on a very quiet dead end road. Over two acres of field grass surrounding by rolling hills with views of farms, cows, horses, and the eastern foothills of the Cascade mountains.
There is a 1/2 acre pond on the camp property with frogs, turtles, wild birds and wild ducks and geese drop in all the time. Very quiet and peaceful out here, the frogs will sing you to sleep and that's about the only sound you will hear.
There is power and water hooks up at 2 of 3 camp sites. Multiple tent sites , restroom available
Two large and level RV spots are graveled and can accommodate your 5th wheel, diesel pusher, trailer or toy hauler. The third RV/camp spot is grass but also large and level. This grass spot is dry camping but water is available from nearby spigot and a generator is also available for rent at $20/night.
Forgot your wood? No problem, firewood is always available $ 5.00/bundle. There are fire rings at each site for your use (unless burn ban in effect)
Camp host always has plenty of S'mores supplies (complimentary of course) for that campfire treat. :)

If you are into quads, motorcycle riding or 4x4 off-roading this place is perfect. There are forest service roads and trail riding nearby. Jeep and off road groups come from all over the state to ride in the foothills, just 30 minutes away.
Winter time campers are welcome too!
Winter access is easy, county road to entrance of Hipcamp is plowed by county road crews and as host I have tractor 🚜 to plow the camp area prior to your arrival.
Snowmobiles are welcome in winter and you get a reduced nightly rate. Ride and play in the snow around the camp property or drive 20 minutes to foothills with trails and forestry roads open to sleds. Bring the whole group, plenty of room on this property for as many as 20 rigs and trailers.

At 180 acres Glendale Farm in Chimacum, in operation since 1857, is one of the largest single agricultural properties remaining in Jefferson County. The farm includes prime agricultural soils, over half a mile of East Chimacum Creek, and forested areas. The easement protects a buffer zone for salmon and wildlife habitat along the east fork of Chimacum Creek and protects the agricultural and forestry values of the property forever. Jefferson Land Trust and collaborative partners purchased the easement to Insure Glendale farm maintains agricultural practices and wildlife habitat forever! Please be aware this is a working farm with poultry, livestock, and the use of farm equipment providing a great experience for farm life.
Glendale Farm experienced a devastating loss in 2022 when the primary residence burned down. Since then, we have been engaged in a long-term restoration effort, including extensive cleanup from an extreme hoarding situation.
Please wear sturdy shoes at all times, as we are still carefully removing glass and other sharp debris from parts of the property. You may encounter old farm equipment, a few derelict RVs, and other remnants of the site's history as we continue this work.
We appreciate your patience as we gradually improve the farm with future showers, a communal kitchen, gathering spaces, and enhanced landscaping. Your stay directly supports these ongoing improvements.

Historically, Deep Creek Canyon was a winter encampment for the Spokane Indians, whose ancestral lands surround us. We feel the healing spirit of the land, in partnership and stewardship. Our original house was one of the first in the canyon, in the early 1940's.
There’s a map of the 5 acres that leads you to hidden features, like the gypsy fortune-telling tea house, a fairy mound at the base of a huge fir tree, a yoga platform, and a Buddha bench for contemplating or conversation.

Cedar & Fern was the perfect place to escape to for a few nights of camping in nature. The moss and ferns kept us great company throughout the long weekend. We stayed at Site 1 and we couldn't have enjoyed it more. This is a truly magical location. We spent a lot of time down by the river watching the salmon swim and jump upstream. Nice place! Our kids loved the horses in the morning and absolutely beautiful location! The yurt is a little difficult to find if you arrive in the dark. You park near the stables but it is down a little road past the roofed arena and then to the left. Maybe 1/8 mile total from parking.
The horses were a little loud at night, but our toddlers slept soundly through it. Would stay again for the price and location!

We loved Chom’s RV campground! We stayed at site D1 which had an incredible view of the river and cascades. It was quiet, private, and serene. Well enough room for the four of us. The bathrooms were modern and incredibly clean.
A couple of notes about our site: there was a large dropoff to the river as noted in the listing, so probably no kids at our specific site. This site is also quite far from the bathrooms if that is important to you! It was no problem at all for us.
We will definitely be coming back to stay!

Erica's place was so lovely - the site was on the farm, near wonderful fences other animals - goats, chickens, horses and great, friendly donkey. Lots of great hiking, breweries, wineries and more close by. The spot was quiet with great views and nice places to sit under the trees. I would highly recommend camping here.

Such a neat place! Loved all the animals and twinkling lights. The stars were amazing. The wind was blowing these small trees and the leaves sounded like rain all night. It was a great place to practice some night photography. Everything is super close to the car - the porta potty, the sink, and the table. Glad I brought my tennis shoes because there is a good bit of crab grass. Would definitely come back! :)

Loved our stay at Cedar + Fern! The porta potties were the cleanest I’ve seen all weekend & that was a relief. The camp ground was clean & very serene. Loved the trail leading down to the river. Saw sooo many banana slugs! They have many things to offer at their farm stand & you can rent out propane tanks which is great for whenever the weather gets cold. Communication with the host was perfect & once you get comfortable & unpacked, they request you go to the info center which provides so much other useful info about the property & things you can do. Easy to set up and great big piece of land. Arrived late at night and signed were hard to read but helpful there were lots of signs. Also grass road in is extremely bumpy, but he campsite is amazing

Byronville is where it’s at!! Very well kept campsites and a gorgeous river to hang out at. It’s far enough out there to feel totally alone, while being close enough to town to feel safe. This was my second stay this summer and will definitely be back:)

We stayed at Willow Creek Retreat for one night enroute from Montana to Victoria BC - 26 foot class C. For us, this was a very enjoyable experience. Quiet and peaceful, shade trees and grass meadows. Only 5 RV sites, 3 with 30 amp power, 2 without power. Besides the super views, there are interesting animals - horses (gentle & tame), wild turkeys and cows. Yes, this is a farm - you need to open ranch gate to enter and close it behind you. We thought it was wonderful!
