Family-friendly
Recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp is great for families and kids.
This small 25-acre ranch is just in the early stages of development. We are repairing fences and watering. I just added solar power. The property has a 1200 foot grass runway with an airplane hangar, so you could fly it if you have a STOHL airplane.
The irrigation pond/pond yard area is currently available for camping.
Many wineries and outdoor activities available in the area. Children can help feed or water the pigs and perhaps the chickens.
We offer 5 campsites as well as an in-ground greenhouse as listings.
Guests love staying with us: "The pond at Willow Barn Ranch was picturesque. Show us around the property. It's very quiet and peaceful, and you can tell you take good care of your land. Wide open spaces, but each site seems to have its own privacy Just outside of Yakima,

In Ground Greenhouse
Not prepped for guests
Great idea but the space needs work. I know it’s a greenhouse, but there was very little “cleaning” or “prep” done for guests. Spider webs and bugs (alive and dead) everywhere. Ripped cushions outside. Full trash in the bathroom. There was a light and a fan in the greenhouse that required electricity. There’s no electricity to the greenhouse. I didn’t make it back the second night (plans changed late in the day) and I left them know I might not make it back that night but I would be back before checkout (Noon) the next day to get the rest of my stuff. When I arrived at 11:30 my stuff had been moved and the bed already stripped. Though I’m glad to know the linens were changed, I feel like this was an unnecessary invasion of my privacy.

Unexpectedly charming campsite
Quiet, calm, and pretty little spot for a night. We didn’t have time to take advantage of much more than the picnic table and the spot to set up a tent, but Steven was so helpful and responsive whenever we had a question! The pond area is really pretty, with lights set up around and it was a perfect way to end our road trip before heading home.

An outstanding trip
What a beautiful area. We were the only campers there but we felt cozy and comfortable. There were games and a bar. It was well maintained and we had a wonderful time. Next time we go to float the Yakima, we will stay there with no hesitation
