Hand-built by our family, this cozy in-hill cabin located in the lower area of our property is something right out of a Tolkien novel. Very LGBTQ+ And BIPOC friendly. This one room Hobbit Hole has everything in it's 7.5x15.5' (cozy): Comfy convertible bed/couch complete with linens, a small table with 2 chairs for playing games and eating, puzzles, games, snacks, hot water kettle, coffee maker, bluetooth speaker, electric fireplace, books, sketchpad with colored pencils, and more! A rustic wooden floor (with some paint splatters) and a braided rug give you a feeling of comfort and home. On site we have a private portable bathroom complete with hand-washing station, and an outside combination fire pit and charcoal barbecue with a grill top and s’mores sticks provided so you can cook over a wood fire or coals! And an outdoor table and chairs that are super comfortable! The house itself is heated, insulated, and has working electricity/outlets for computer or phone charger. Clean bedding and pillows provided, washed in fragrance-free detergent between each guest. We provide a full water jug with spigot, hot water kettle, teapot, assorted teas and 2 mugs. Private area of the yard with plenty of room to relax. We have a disc golf goal and discs to use as well. Firewood is available for purchase onsite for $10/milk crate full. This comes with a kindling kit. Territorial views of the tree line and sunset views to die for! We are located near Meigs Park as well as a 10-minute walk from Manitou beach and an easy bike ride to the ferry that goes to Seattle! 2 miles from the Grand Forest and 3 miles from Battle Point park. We are exactly 3 miles from the ferry terminal in a convenient mid-island location. NEED TO KNOW (managing expectations):A note on the bathroom: the hobbit hole is small and will not fit a bathroom or plumbing. Your nearby private portable restroom is cleaned thoroughly between each guest and serviced (pumped out) weekly. We consider our listing to be “glamping”. Also our property borders a local 2 lane highway and you can expect road noise mostly during the day and evening. While it is a private setting you can expect to hear the road. Weekends and evenings it is quieter, and when the door is closed it is quiet. The Hobbit House is suitable for 2 guests or 2 adults and a small child that can share the bed. The bed is a queen size, and we can't allow sleeping on the floor as the door opens inwards and is a safety concern. However, additional guests are welcome to bring a tent and camp outside, for $20/tent, up to 6 additional guests or 2 tents, whichever is smaller. The Perch is in the back of the property which is about a third of an acre of forest. This is a quiet and unique location, perfect if you're wine tasting in Woodinville, attending a concert at Chateau Ste. Michelle, enjoying a date night, or simply looking for a special place to relax while visiting friends or family. There is a small refrigerator, microwave, a sink with a water dispenser, porto potty outside, sitting room with a screen for Netflix's, wifi, board games, queen mattress, AC and heat. Traizen Haven is in Woodinville, WA and offers a place to connect with animals and nature to rest and revive. We ask for a $60 per night fee. For concert season...You can easily uber (6-8min) to the Chateau venue from our driveway and back, as parking can be an issue. You can bike there (15-20min) or walk (40-50min) but it is a steep hill on the return with narrow shoulder to walk on 2 lane road. There are a great many restaurants and spas nearby if you would like recommendations let us know. Please note that we do allow pets but they MUST be leashed at all time to protect our farm animals. If you have an all day activity and need references for pet daycare or sitters let us know. No smoking or fireworks of any kind is permitted on our property at any time. Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am.

Jana was very attentive when I first arrived. Easy, clear area access. Nice view of the tree farm. Minimal road noise noticed. Plenty of room on flat parking area. Very convenient!

This hammock is set up close to a drop. It's above the creek that flows through so you can relax and just listen to the water below.

AYH Ranch is an absolute gem: a big open field with many different tenting spots, clean toilets, warm showers, a communal fire pit with wood, an adjacent natural preserve and close to town. Jerrett was a gem, and his campsites are just as groovy as he is. We are so fortunate to have had a weekend out at his very PNW property with our puppy before camping season really hits - had the whole place to ourselves! We will be visiting again. ❤️ The sounds of the water, the starry sky, easy access to a coffee stop, and thoughtful amenities Jerrett placed around the sites made our stay peaceful and something we are looking forward to, again. Everything was considered for us beforehand. I am thankful for those nights in the trees and I’m looking forward to visiting again. I will remind all campers to pay for the wood you burn ❤️ and perhaps bring some of your own bundles, too, just in case of late evenings - it’s easy to want to stay up with a campfire crackling in a beautiful place like this.

Great location to explore the area including Port Hadlock, Port Townsend, Discovery Bay, Sequim, Dungeoness Spit as we searched for a retirement location. The site is nestled among other homes but we hardly saw anyone and definitely didn’t hear anyone. We had 3 dogs with us and it was nice to not have other dogs barking and agitating them. We were able to relax and enjoy the view. The site was well kept and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

It’s a nice secluded camping site, the kids loved feeding the goats and I personally enjoyed sleeping with the frog croaks from the pond nearby. Would definitely stay here again. Has a fire pit and a propane grill in case of burn ban.
