I loved tent camping here! The land is beautiful, the creek is fun to explore, and Jerrett is a wonderful host. Would recommend to anybody.

Lovely LDW Escape w/ Kiddos

The whole experience at Jerrett's exceeded all expectations! We were there 3 nights. He greeted us upon arrival, showed me and my 2 young kiddos around, and supplied us with a wheelbarrow to help me transport things from the car to our site (about a 3 min easy walk). The sites are big and well maintained. Fire pits and pre-cut firewood (he accepts donations for the wood) are ready when you arrive. The port-o-potty was freshly clean. We were there on Labor Day Weekend and couldn't believe that the place wasn't fully booked - we lucked out. Snails, chipmunks, fun down at the watering hole (be prepared for a hike down and back up, there's ropes to assist your grip). It was so peaceful! For being SO close to the outside busy world, you really feel secluded in the woods here. Our kids had THE best time!

We had a great time tent camping here! It was very quiet and lots of room at our site. The dogs were able to be off leash, which they loved, and overall we had a wonderful experience.

Jerrett’s property is wonderful, so cool and fun to explore and tons to discover! Definitely more of a dispersed camping experience, which is good because you get to pick whatever spot that is available you like. It’s only drawbacks are no available shower or potable water, but there is a spring on the property you can boil the water from and between the creek and spring you can rinse off if you need/want. The bathroom was just a porta potty but it was kept very clean so no complaints there. The real star of the show is the gorgeous nature of the area, the land is a beautiful old growth WA forest, with tons of unique species to discover and a true woodsy camping experience. Jerrett is also super friendly and we loved chatting with him as he is super knowledgeable about the area and a very pleasant person. Overall I would highly recommend this camp, it was our favorite out of 4 on our trip!

Curley Creek canyon was great! We loved staying with a group of 7 and a dog and we all talked about how we'd love to come back again. Only regret is that we had so much fun exploring the surrounding area we didn't spend as much time at the campsite as we would have wished.

Little piece of Heaven

Jarrett has a little piece of heaven here!! Very rustic but that’s what is so amazing about this property. I was fortunate to have it to myself for 1 nights. Hard to believe it’s so close to Seattle. You feel completely free in nature with the comfort of a porta potty for that after coffee relief. I will return. Do all the things!!

Nature at its Finest!

Amazing place. So great that we booked a second night because we couldn’t get enough of the authentic experience in nature. It was exactly what we were looking for! You’re surrounded by trees and the only sounds are wildlife. Jarret was very kind and accommodating, he made us feel welcomed and showed us where everything was. The campsites were well maintained, large, and private.

We had the best time camping at this site! We were able to fit 4 tents and a canopy comfortably. The location is in a great spot and the site has a trail down to a creek which was super cool to see and get your feet wet. Our camp Host Jerrett was amazing greeted up as soon as we got there and showed us around. Could not have asked for a better host! All of my friends would recommend this spot and would love to come back. Thank you Jerrett for making our first Hipcamp trip wonderful!

Our family had a great time at this site! The trails were fun for our kids & dog to explore and our 4 year old really enjoyed the hammock. We had to be careful with some steep areas but that is just because of the age of our little ones. Jerrett was very hospitable!

Good place to get away from the city chaos. I was fortunate to have the whole place for myself and experienced true private camping as I went on a weekday. Jerrett was nice and helpful, he showed the place around and very responsive on text before the visit. There are two spots right next to car parking. The other two are little deep, less than a minute walk. With the wheelbarrow, it wasn’t an issue taking all the gear to the campsite. Would def visit again

What a beautiful, convenient but secluded spot! Incredible, giant trees, and several perfectly kept campsites. We did the steep little hike down to the creek and had fun with the kids. This was a perfect weekend spot for us.

Tucked Away Slice of Wild Magic

This was a beautiful spot on some beautiful wilderness. The site is very lovingly cared for and maintained by the owner, with fantastic personal touches around the land. Little wooden statues, unique stump and log carved outdoor furniture, and winding stone and gravel work are spread throughout the main site, making it feel like you're walking into a secret magic valley. There's plenty of nice trails across the property that take you down to the creek and into other interesting parts of the forest. The creek itself has a small kayak tied up and a few floaties that kids can use in the shallow water to play without having to worry. The campsites themselves are spacious and well maintained and spread apart; each site felt very private and personable. The host is causal and friendly and gave good vibes from the moment we pulled up to the site. A great place to stay that's not too far into the wilderness, but still feels wild and mysterious.

we loved camping here! the sites are mostly secluded and have their own short trails that lead to them. jerrett was so kind and helpful during our stay, he was there to greet us when we pulled in and gave us a tour of the property. there is a hot tub, pinecone golfing and a few trails that lead to the creek where he has a kayak guests can use and to peaceful and private area with clean naturally filtered running water! the whole site was very clean including the porta potty, we would totally recommend this site for families, solo campers and couples like us!

This was exactly what we needed. ✨ Curley Creek Canyon is such a peaceful and beautiful place to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with nature. Waking up to the sound of birds singing each morning was pure magic. Jerrett was an amazing host; so kind, welcoming, and always making sure we had everything we needed. We left feeling refreshed, recharged, and grateful. Can’t wait to come back!

Magical forest retreat

This place is absolutely magical. Quiet, private, deep forest therapy. The cedar hot tub was divine - we had the whole place to ourselves and Jerrett went out of his way to get the hot tub all heated up for us to use. The stream is a quick hike downhill and then you have a tiny private beach and access to a Kayak to paddle around. We spent hours lounging by the water in the sunshine. We will absolutely be returning!

Lovely Site and Great Host

Jerrett is the exactly what you’d want out of a host. He was on site to greet us and give a tour. There were many amenities and we loved chatting about the history of the area. He was always willing to give a helping hand. 🔋
