Awesome family car-camping spot!
Cute private campground with some great amenities! Simona and Sean's place was clean and quiet, and our kiddos loved the hammocks and big tent. We didn't get a chance to tour the farm but the distant sounds of the goats and dogs were great. Nice picnic table, clean port-o-potty, grill, and convenient solar lighting make it a great car-camping spot. Highly recommend for families!

The space was cute and comfortable. The A Frame yurt was everything we hoped when we first saw the pictures.
The firepit and outside lights just added to the feel, and getting to meet the animals was a great bonus!

This was our first time camping with our young kids (4 and 1), as well as our first Hipcamp experience, and it was really wonderful. The campsite is clean, spacious, and private, and it was convenient to have the tent already set up and a grill on site. With very little ambient light around, the stargazing at night was fantastic. Simona gave us a lovely tour with the animals afterwards, which our kids loved and it was fascinating to hear about life on the farm.

Perfect group car camping
Everything was perfect. The tent fit all 5 of us easily, and one chose to sleep in the hammock! The grill worked beautifully and we really appreciated the chairs and fire pit as well (they sell firewood too!) Getting to meet the dogs and other animals they have is always a joy. We were here last year as well and I hope to return again.

The best getaway!
Excellent, peaceful stay. The hosts are kind, available and also gave us plenty of space and privacy.
The a-frame is so awesome; adorable, functional, clean and simple. Everything we hoped for.
Being on a farm is a delight as well; i’d highly recommend asking for a tour. The duck eggs and goat milk lotion are great little perks to bring a little cash for if they’re available.

Perfect Stay at the Overlook
We were very fortunate to find and book The Overlook. Sean and Simona were excellent hosts. We appreciated everything being ready for us and the fact that Sean and Simona were flexible when we arrived later than anticipated. The location was very peaceful and the A frame was very comfortable and well constructed! We also loved the farm tour and being able to feed the baby goats!

Is my second trip to camp forever Young, and I love it even more than the first time! Sean and Simona are incredible house, they have truly thought of everything. The A-frame cabin is so incredibly cozy, we were perfectly warm even though temperatures dropped at night, the bed is really comfortable. And everything is set up to be very self-sufficient. The property itself is gorgeous, the animals are so funny and charming, and I absolutely loved everything about this stay. I will absolutely be back.

Cozy Car Camp!
Sean was great, meeting us when we arrived and settled in. And as we left, we got to meet their dogs, goats, and sheep! The site itself was cozy, clean, and accessible for our day adventures. If the weather had cooperated, we would definitely have taken advantage of the hammocks on-site!

The Overlook was a wonderful place to stay for the night! We had a lovely time and the room was plenty warm on a cold night with a sleeping bag and blankets.

Sean and Simona are wonderful, thoughtful hosts! The A frame is beautifully built with touches that add comfort and style. It was comforting that they were so close, yet had enough privacy to feel like I was on my own in the woods.

I took my very first solo trip and decided to stay at the Overlook and I am so glad I did! Sean and Simona were the most welcoming hosts and I always felt well cared for. The A-frame is hand crafted and one of a kind. Even in December I made use of the large patio window and sat on the porch to read at night. The cabin was cozy at night and I slept so peacefully! I loved touring the farm and getting to know my inspirational hosts. All around a 10/10 stay. Very thankful for Simona and Sean’s hospitality!

The Magic is in the simplicity
I have followed Camp Forever Young’s Instagram journey for quite some time. When a trip took me to Seattle, I seized the opportunity to spend the night at the camp. Even though the weather was not ideal (I’m the one who picked November to visit the PNW), my stay was. Sean and Simona are friendly hosts and the A-frame cabin was perfect…the bedding, the view, and especially the propane heater. When there were breaks in the rain, I popped up the side door to enjoy the forest surroundings. The solar lights helped light the path to the bathroom after dark, something I was a little concerned about as a solo traveler. I was also happy I had cell service for that reason, even though I wanted to pretend I didn’t in this idyllic setting. The Overlook is like something out of a woodland fairy tale and everything you could want in a simple camping getaway.

We really enjoyed our escape to the overlook and will definitely come back again. Sean was so kind, welcoming, gave us privacy while touching base to make sure we had what we needed. Quiet, peaceful and enjoyed the sound of the giggling geese while drinking our morning coffee.

Very welcoming spot! Sean was an awesome host. Provided a great spot for our van with fire pit, picnic table, BBQ, and hammock. Sean even gave us a farm tour in the AM! Very cool spot, we’ll be back!

Book this site 10/10!!
Sean’s property is an absolute gem, the camp site is situated on top of a hill with a view of tall evergreens and if you get lucky you can see some mountain tops in the distance! This site went above and beyond, the fire ring, picnic table & hammocks were a delight and the provided chairs and propane bbq cut our set up time in half. Having a camper van, the garbage bin on-site was a huge bonus 🙏🏽! It was so awesome to meet Sean and take a tour to see all the animals! For city folk escaping the stress and bustle of their everyday this was *exactly* what we were looking for: to rest, recharge and be immersed amongst a perfect PNW fall nature-scape. Thanks for the hospitality and sharing your property with us, we can’t wait for our next stay!

Cozy and Charming all around.
This was an absolutely amazing experience all around. My wife and I were looking forward to a cozy getaway without the kids after dealing with all the stressors of a death in the family. We actually live fairly close, and I must admit, from behind the computer it felt a little silly booking a getaway so close to home... We are so glad we did though and we are both looking forward to doing it again! Even the quiet, curvy drive in was nice! Upon our arrival we were greeted by camp hosts Sean and Simona, who both quickly proved to be infectiously gracious, charming, and kind-hearted human beings. They had offered us a tour of the farm, which we accepted and they even let us feed their animals after showing us where we could gather wild huckleberries for them. Unbelievably friendly and charming hosts! (I also got the impression that if you pulled in to camp feeling tired, or antisocial [as I often do!] that they aren't the kind of people that would be remotely offended or bothersome if you just wanted to get to camp.).
The aptly named "Overlook", is situated on a hill that looks over the homestead and out at the mountains and trees. It is a fairly simple, but ridiculously charming little off-grid shelter that was built and oriented in an awesome location. Love the mosquito netting over the bed so you can comfortably sleep with the side of the cabin opened up! We had also rented a propane fireplace for the reasonable price of $15, which was an awesome amenity to have available as there's currently a burn ban in effect, and having a drink around an empty firepit is just kind of a drag... In the morning we woke to natural light flooding into the A-frame, and a stellar view to wake up to. We had our morning coffee on the porch in the provided Adirondack chairs and even though we were close to home, we felt like we were on vacation. Absolutely fantastic experience all around. Sean and Simona had told us this camp/homestead was their dream, and with as charming and passionate as they are, it's no surprise our experience was what it was. Nice, charming people do nice charming work, as it turns out!
