Camp was very clean and organized, made it very easy to clean up with the included garbage bags. Restroom was very clean and tidy. Trail was a lot of fun to walk along. Nice flat ground for setting up the tent. Thank you Michelle for hosting and keeping the site nice!

Medley Woods - Great for Groups!
Medley Woods is a great campsite and very private. The host provided plenty of drinking water, and an outhouse. We had 6 people and two vehicles but it could have easily fit more people. It got very hot during the summer day but the host provided a pop up canopy for shade. There are a few trails nearby to walk around in the woods. Overall I'd probably consider camping here again.

Medley Woods - Great for Groups!
Michelle's spot is absolutely perfect for those looking for a quiet, comfortable spot. There's nobody around for what seems like miles, and the camping area is fantastic. Very private and secluded. There were even some amenities we weren't expecting, which was a nice and thoughtful touch. I would totally recommend this place, and look forward to camping here again soon!

Secluded Place to Stargaze!

Medley Woods - Great for Groups!
Such a great, wide open area to stargaze by the fire while totally secluded and surrounded on all sides by woods, it felt like we were the only people (and dog!) on earth... exactly what we were looking for. The outhouse and other amenities were very clean and the property was well maintained and easy to access.

Medley Woods - Great for Groups!
Fantastic, private, giant campsite with nice combination of open space and wooded areas to explore. Outhouse, shade structure, and picnic tables are great to have! Our group had a wonderful stay! The wasps are intense just about everywhere in this neck of the woods this time of year - we bought an extra wasp trap and it helped.

Communication and consideration for this campsite & our reservation were both excellent. The spot is well-organized and tidy. That we got a spot in the height of camping season not long before we camped there was a blessing. We love the idea of a composting toilet. In practice, it requires some patience. Maybe we did it wrong. The Toandos Peninsula is wonderful place and you could do much worse.

Medley Woods - Great for Groups!
This site is amazing! Came back for the second time and will be back again! Michelle was super responsive the first time we came regarding some updates that would be worth it and immediately got on it! It was delightful to see the little improvements! There are a lot of wasps around right now which was a bit of a nuisance but they went away once it got colder. Will be back here again soon!

Wonderful private campsite! My dog loved exploring the property and the trail. So much space! Quiet, almost no noise from neighbors. Beautiful nights - all the stars, and we had a full moon. Lots of bees at the end of July just to be aware. We look forward to returning with friends!

Very peaceful and scenic spot! The amenities were awesome to have - fire pit, outhouse, shaded awning - and in good condition! Our pup loved roaming around and sniffing all the smells. Overall great stay! There must be a wasp nest somewhere nearby because they were very active and prevalent around the campsite. Not aggressive but something to note if you’re not comfortable around bees/wasps.

Michelle's property was great! What a beautiful and secluded spot with both woods and meadows. The trails throughout were great for a wander, and the extra water and outhouse set-up was fantastic. Definitely recommend for your next group camping trip!

All the reviews are spot on. Beautiful and secluded, lots of amenities that you wouldn’t expect, the shade structure was great for shade, no fire because of burn ban but it was a perfect set up for it, the bell tent was super convenient. It was just the two of us, but we’ll be back with a group!

Amazing spot! Tons of space and. We had four cars and fit everyone no problem. great to have the toilet available as well. Lots of bird life and the flowers were beautiful.

This site is gorgeous and huge!! We had one van and two other cars and there was still so much space! The yurt was amazing! It was a bit rainy during our stay so it saved the tent folks from having to deal with setting it up! It slept 4 people and a dog very comfortably! This spot is SILENT. You can hear all the wildlife and rarely you hear some round noise or nearby gun shots (probably a range or some hunters)
100% will be coming back here again!

40 acres is huge! We felt so far away. The unique landscape provide for a wild auditory experience of varying randomness. It is on a spit of land surrounded by a low spot of wetland. The frogs, birds, bats, and midnight branch cracking were fun to listen to. The dirt road is windy and tight. 2wd for sure, but I don't think large trailer. Hey ghly recommend. The price felt high, but the family loved the whole experience and made it worth it. As it says, good for groups. Go split the cost with a friend's family.

Medley Woods - Great for Groups!
We booked last minute and were grateful that Michelle was accommodating. Camp site was wonderful. Fire pit and a couple picnic tables. There is service at the campsite even though it goes in and out on the drive there. We loved staying here as a stopover between hikes in Olympic NF! So secluded and quiet. My dog LOVED running around and exploring. Nice to have the bathroom and it was well maintained. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved camping on Michelle’s land. The peace and quiet we got during our stay was unbeatable. We got the chance to explore and walk around her land with our dogs. The restroom was clean and was a nice amenity to have. We’d definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved staying on Michelle's property! Directions were very clear, it was very private and beautiful. The composting toilet and provided drinking water was very much appreciated and worked wonderfully. The fireplace and tent was great as well. Our dogs loved running around freely. Thanks, Michelle, we'd love to come back sometime!

Michelle’s land was everything we were looking for. We wanted privacy (we’re introverts), a clean bathroom, and space for our dogs to be able to run off leash without disturbing other campers. We got all those things and more!
The clearing for tents/trailers was well maintained, and there were multiple places to place tents if you wanted to have a group. Maybe 3 tents max?
There was a burn ban so we couldn’t have a fire, but the fire pit was incredibly well maintained and central to the camping area.
Our dogs slept for an entire day when we got back! There were so many things to sniff and explore for them, and plenty of blackberries for us to pick!
There was only one real downside and that was water.
Michelle was lovely and had lots of water for us when we got there, but it was a little tough for us to not be next to more of a water source. Especially because the main site does not have too much shade, I would bring twice as much water as you think you need if it’s going to be hot during your stay.
My only other suggestion is to look up how to use a composting toilet and to make sure you sit far enough back on the seat. If you know, you know.
We will definitely be back when the weather cools down more!

Medley Woods - Great for Groups!
Michelle's land at Medley Woods was my first Hipcamp and it was an awesome experience. The outhouse is great, having the water and portable sink was clutch. There are actually two picnic tables in the space, which weren't on the listing but added to the great experience. Definitely worth it and lots of soft ground space for tents and plenty of explore space and freedom to roam with dogs.

Medley Woods - Great for Groups!
What a refreshing getaway! My husband, myself, and our two dogs just spent time on Michelle's expansive property. We enjoyed the bright open campsite, as well as exploring the loop trail that led to more forested areas. We also loved watching the nighthawks swoop in the sky. Other highlights- great stargazing, lots of wild blackberries, and an exceptionally clean outhouse! We also really appreciated the shade structure that was provided. Definitely would like to return and plan to stay longer next time.

Wonderful space, nicely secluded. The road is a bit adventurous but probably just fine for most cars. If you have a larger vehicle and it has been raining recently, stop at or before the picnic tables—do not drive past them or you may get stuck in mud like we did! That said the space is still wonderful and the host was very kind that we used some scrap (from the outhouse building) to unstick ourselves.

Large private space with some nice amenities in the out house. The road is a bit rough, but didn't have any problems driving it in the pouring rain in our van. There's a fire pit, a couple picnic tables and a wood bench. Would be a great place for a small group to camp.

We had such a great stay at Medley Woods. The dogs loved roaming the property and the setup was everything we needed. We appreciated the small touches with games and supplies in the outhouse. It is super private and the stars at night are out of this world! Michelle was fantastic and we'll absolutely be going back. Highly recommend!
