Nestled in the pine, fir, hemlock, and cedar trees in southeast Port Orchard, located only a 7 minute drive from the Southworth Ferry, and less than a 10 minute walk from Banner Forest Park (famous for its hiking and biking trails!) you’ll find White Moth Lodge; a quonset style glamping cabin located on more than 5 acres of forest, nestled in a small valley completely surrounded by trees. This enchanting glamping site has a cozy furnished 12x12 Quonset hut, a stone fire-pit with a lounging area, an extra 6 foot camping pad for an additional tent ( bring friends or kids!) and a 4 burner Webber grill in our outdoor grilling kitchenette- complete with running water and a provided filter. The site has a private outhouse bathroom with maintained composting toilet. Parking is available at the site or just down the lane at the barn. A Jackery 1000 battery power station, capable of running lights, small appliances, and charging phones or devices is provided for the duration of your stay. Wireless Internet is provided with an in-cabin router. Nearby attractions include launches for boating, beaches, shopping areas, and plenty of parks to hike and enjoy! Peace and quiet in the forest awaits! The cabin sleeps 2 but the additional pad can facilitate a 6x6 tent (you’ll have to bring your own) and two extra guests!Our relaxing and private glamping cabin awaits you just down the road from the Southworth ferry terminal- only a half hour foot ferry from downtown Seattle! Perfect for both first time outdoors adventures and those that crave a woodsy retreat without all the work of a hike-in and set up! The cabin has running water, power provided by a Jackery 1000, a composting toilet, wireless internet, weber 3 grill with propane provided, ice filled cooler, and an attached extra 6 foot camping pad for friends or kids to set up a tent and join in the fun! By request additional available activities on-site include- For no additional charge- Astronomy in the meadow (telescope provided!) Or for one or two people at $150 per two hour session (with all materials provided) you can choose between -Introduction to Blacksmithing -Introduction to Linocut Printmaking Be sure to contact the owners to schedule classes ahead of your stay!

This place exceeded my expectations! Such a wonderful space that was created! Everything was so well thought out and the bed was so comfy! Quiet, clean, beautiful. If you’re looking for a glamping site, this is it. Book it now!

Such a great spot! The cabin is cozy, clean and quiet. You can tell that care and consideration was given - you'll have most of the things you need to enjoy a few days in the trees. We brought a teen with us, and the tent pad was perfect. The location is outstanding as well- you're close to several day hikes.

This was a lovely site with every detail thought of. Of particular note was the excellent fire pit, the working grill, the chairs, the running water and basic supplies for making meals, and of course, the well appointed Quonset hut. We had a great time. It was what we were looking for!

Absolutely amazing spot! Quiet, beautiful, and a setup with every detail truly thought through. It also felt the perfect balance of glamping; you’re keenly aware of being in the middle of a forest but with the creature comforts of home.

Wonderful! The site was beautiful. The bed was super-comfortable. The hosts thought of everything in terms of supplies provided. (including smores!) Jenn was helpful and highly responsive to texts. I loved being out there in the woods. I had planned to use this as a base from which to take a couple of day trips, but it was so relaxing and pretty that I ended up just staying there.
