Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. The parking lot is behind trees, approx 50 ft from the main road which has regular daily traffic and noise driving by at the top of the site. It quiets down after work in the evenings. Dogs bark because they are dogs, but when you go deep into the forest you can barely hear the road or the dogs. The parking area can only be located there, in order to maintain the ecology of Ames Creek.
The entrance is down through either of two driveways from the main road, on a horseshoe loop drive-through, to the L-shaped parking lot. Tent camping is 4 to 6 total soft pads in the forest near the parking sites. Note: Ames Creek does dry up in mid-summer.
For large RVs maneuvering skills are required to park on the level 23 ft long parking pads in the parking area down the hill from the road. It is a U-shaped drive-through, flat at the bottom of the small driveway hill.

Everyone who sees it remarks that this forest is beautiful. It has a main trail and many small pathways between ferns and hillocks. In an effort to preserve and protect this wild habitat, we have already planted 200 + Western Red Cedars, Douglas Firs, salal, snowberry, native current, and other native vegetation.
This is a great private spot for an RV or similar vehicles and 2 tent circles.
A firepit, and porta-potty next to each pad, another firepit in one of the 2 tent circles for each RV parking pad site.
A completely natural untouched Pacific moss rainforest about 30 miles inland on the foothills of the Mount Baker–Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington State. Some areas it is likely no one has ever walked on.
Bring mosquito repellent. Be aware of kids and dogs near road entrances, as well as near the creek in the winter.
It is located near major fun sites, it is a wilderness playground!
Ames Creek dries up mid-July and returns in Sept/Oct. There are a lot of little paths crisscrossing the creek, likely raccoon and deer trails.
We are happy to have your dogs visit - they will love it!
Please remember to bring an extension cord to access power.

We primarily rent motorcycles out of the shop using the Twisted Road or the Riders-Share platform. For those wishing to park their RV and explore the PNW on two wheels this is THE spot! If motorcycles aren't your thing, you're still more than welcome to use our space. There is 50amps of power and municipal water for you to hookup to. There is a porta-potty on site during the summer months.

Totally positive experience with our host and his property. Clean, excellent water and electric, covered in case of rain, centrally located with easy access to ferry, downtown and Mount Rainier. Quiet neighborhood surrounded by park, beach and stores. We had a broken appliance in our camper that needed a quick replacement part via mail order and Patrick graciously let us take delivery at the site. Highly recommended!

Perfect spot to crash after a concert at Remlinger! We had a great stay here. Host was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Portas were the cleanest I’ve seen! Also have a bonfire area and a snack stand that would’ve been awesome if we had stayed longer. Would stay here again!

This was our first time staying at The Glen and we LOVED it. We will definitely be back. Friendly, helpful staff with very clean, well maintained facilities. During our stay they had a limited supply of fresh cinnamon rolls in the morning from a local place and they were the perfect way to start our day. The indoor hot tub, showers, and bathrooms were all super clean and well stocked. The back in RV sites offer full hook ups and ours was by the creek which was lovely to listen to during the day. The grounds were surprisingly quiet, even though it was almost full. Everyone was very respectful and friendly. They have a wonderful trail along the creek through the forest, which we really enjoyed. On Saturday night they played the classic Willy Wonka movie on the lawn and had popcorn for everyone. Overall, this was a memorable stay and we cannot wait to go back.

Peaceful location easy access to Remlinger farm. The shuttle was perfect. And Tera had the amenities set up extra nice cute area near the porta potties wash station with lights for night. A live fire pit and lanterns lit welcoming us back from the concert. Would definitely stat again.

Jana and Pablo made us feel completely at home. Enjoyed a walk to the neighboring farm to pick up some local produce, and we really appreciated the wonderful landscape of flowers, and Christmas Trees as far as the eye could see. Would definitely stay again the next time we are in the area- Thanks!
