The Cove is located between the two small towns of Quilcene and Brinnon, nestled along a scenic stretch of Highway 101 that hugs the shoreline of the great fjord, Hood Canal, at the eastern edge of the Olympic Mountains. Within minutes, you’ll find marinas, three major rivers, and beaches perfect for clamming and oyster harvesting. Bring your kayaks, boats, scuba equipment, and fishing gear for endless outdoor adventure. Enjoy local attractions such as the annual FjordFest in Brinnon, the Quilcene Saturday Market, Whitney Gardens & Nursery (a world-renowned rhododendron nursery), and the Quilcene History Museum. The ranger station in Quilcene also offers detailed maps and information about Olympic National Park, Olympic National Forest, and the many nearby hiking trails. Camp Parsons is just one mile from the park, making The Cove one of the closest and most convenient camping locations for parents visiting Boy Scouts at camp. Welcome!
