I absolutely loved staying here!! Everyone that I met on the property was lovely and so helpful and kind. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this site to other people :)) the barn experience was cozy and relaxing and the rain shower outdoor experience was by far a favorite part of my vacation!!
What an awesome little spot! Had a great time with our stay and definitely enjoyed using the sauna and shower. Everything was very clean and nicely set up. Getting a little hello from the horses was great treat too!
The Bunky is a modest and very comfortable place for glamping! Hosts are kind, welcoming and attentive. The farm is quiet, beautiful, and home to three horses and two donkeys that guests are welcome to visit. The sleeping quarters are very private and the sauna and “rain shower” shower are both fabulous.
What an impeccable experience! You are in the middle of nature, the little bunky is built with so much love and detail, and the bed is just soooo comfortable!
Alison is adorable! Very helpful, and even when I forgot something there she made it work that I can get it before catching my flight out.
Can’t find anything negative, absolute recommendation for those who love to have a relaxed and close to nature experience - campfire place included, of course!
Alison was a warm soul, great conversationalist, and all around wonderful host! She was communicative, helpful and offered great advice about the surrounding area. The Bunky is cozy, the land is stunning, and the sauna/shower can’t be beat! Can’t wait to stay again!
Alison was very friendly and warmly welcomed us. She showed us how everything worked and is a great host! The experience was truly wonderful! The bed is sooo comfy and the rain shower is awesome! We plan to return!

Amazing location and friendly host. Alison was extremely helpful and even allowed us to leave some gear that we could not take back on our flight home. The bedroom and bathroom were inventive and beautiful. No issues with bugs, dirt, etc. The sauna was an amazing bonus.

The barn was quiet and clean. The outdoor shower was very nice and the water was hot. The sauna takes some time to warm up but was a nice addition to a cool night. It’s a great space if you need simple accommodations. I would definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

So fun! Really enjoyed the sauna!! Great cute place to stay! So nice to be around the horses and donkeys. The hosts sister brought one of the horses over for some pats! Lovely property and lots of space to explore! Look at weather before you go as the highs and lows can be very different so it can be cold at night (but the duvet provided was a nice touch and really helped!) there is no sink just something to be aware of. Really thankful for the amenities provided! (Shampoo/conditioner/body wash/makeup remover/more!) host was responsive and very helpful! Recommend maltby cafe for breakfast or lunch! Thank you
We had the most wonderful, peaceful stay here. I visited with my daughter, and we both absolutely loved it. Getting to see the beautiful horses on the property made the experience extra special. The environment is quiet, scenic, and relaxing. Everything was clean and comfortable. The sauna and rainfall shower were my favorite. Also it’s a plus to have the hot water kettle, get for our tea and hot chocolate. Very little packing was needed.

Our host was great at showing us around and then leaving us to have a relaxing evening. Such a peaceful atmosphere. The sauna and outdoor shower was amazing. Would recommend!
Welcoming host, provided all we needed for the night, wood for stove campfire, thick comforter, separate towels for showering and sauna, equipment to make coffee and bedroom slippers too. Had 3 horses and two donkeys and lots of swallows.
Really great and fun experience. Alison was super friendly and even gave us some delicious homemade cake! The sauna and outdoor shower were very fun and easy to use. The fire pit was wonderful. The horses, miniature donkey’s, and birds nesting nearby were all very cool to see, hear, and be around.

Staying at The Bunky at Lawnacres farm is a real treat. It’s a working farm with three beautiful horses and two donkeys which you can go visit or steer clear of at will. You are welcome to explore nearly 20 acres of meadow and field and clusters of trees. It’s quiet and peaceful. Be sure to try the Maltby Cafe for breakfast or lunch and the Pizza and Pasta (the name undersells it) restaurant next door for lunch or dinner. We have already been back since our first visit.
This is a unique and extraordinary experience in bucolic and peaceful surroundings that I would highly recommend. We loved it!! You’re not far from the towns of Snohomish and Monroe. The sauna is the icing on the cake.

Bunky Barn was a pleasant surprise! Alison was a kind and generous host who provided everything we needed to be comfortable in the barn. My partner and I rode our bikes there and felt very safe. The fire pit and sauna were a treat and a perfect way to relax after our journey from Seattle. The horses and the property made it feel like an adventure in nature with all the creature comforts in mind. Thanks for sharing your space with us!

We had an amazing stay at Alison’s barn! The renovated horse stall was such a creative place to sleep. We enjoyed the sauna and the outdoor shower. We felt so welcomed by Alison and enjoyed exploring around the farm! Highly recommend!
My stay at Alison’s was serene, peaceful, and exactly what I needed. I was looking for a place to decompress, find inspiration, and get some work done, and this exceeded my expectations.
As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by the smell of freshly cut grass, hay, and the farm. Two adorable miniature donkeys welcomed me, and I quickly found myself captivated by the beautiful horses grazing nearby. The setting felt calming and restorative from the moment I arrived.
The barn room was unique, private, and full of character. It was the perfect place to work and create. Sitting at the desk while watching horses graze just outside was such a special experience. The showers were wonderful, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.
I was a little concerned it might get chilly at night since part of one wall is screened to the outdoors, but the comforter was so thick and cozy that I slept soundly. It was also surprisingly quiet at night.
The only thing to note is that there is no sink in the room, though it wasn’t an issue for me as I simply washed my hands in the shower. There is also an outhouse around the corner. As someone who is a bit of a germaphobe, I would have preferred an indoor bathroom, but that was really my only minor drawback.
Overall, I loved this getaway and would absolutely stay here again. It’s a wonderful retreat for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy a unique farm experience.

My stay was wonderful and I would definitely come back again. It was peaceful, beautiful, and a very unique spot. The entire farm was welcoming, the bed was warm and cozy even in colder temps, the sauna was incredible and the animals were a delight. 10/10
Alison was an excellent host and the setting was so perfectly curated I felt as if I'd stumbled into a perfect movie scene. Everything was so well thought out. Will absolutely be returning as often as possible!
Allison was an amazing host and very hospitable. The bunk in the barn was a perfect relaxing getaway and is conveniently located near downtown areas and small shops.
The friendly horses and donkeys on the property made the stay extra special and brought plenty of smiles.
To top it off, the fire pit was amazing—so peaceful and relaxing.
I would rate this stay a 10 out of 10 and would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique farm-style getaway. An amazing experience overall.

Amazing and unique! Alison was so warm, thoughtful and helpful in all ways. What a wonderful place, with horses, donkeys, wild deer, bunnies barn swallows and more. That’s not even mentioning the lovely sauna and outdoor shower. If you like one of a kind stays with sweet animals and some stand out amenities this is your kinda place.
Absolutely amazing!! Such a special experience and would absolutely recommend to anyone. Beautiful grounds and neat experience with the horses.
