Our host was great at showing us around and then leaving us to have a relaxing evening. Such a peaceful atmosphere. The sauna and outdoor shower was amazing. Would recommend!

Welcoming host, provided all we needed for the night, wood for stove campfire, thick comforter, separate towels for showering and sauna, equipment to make coffee and bedroom slippers too. Had 3 horses and two donkeys and lots of swallows.

Really great and fun experience. Alison was super friendly and even gave us some delicious homemade cake! The sauna and outdoor shower were very fun and easy to use. The fire pit was wonderful. The horses, miniature donkey’s, and birds nesting nearby were all very cool to see, hear, and be around.
Would definitely recommend!

This is a unique and extraordinary experience in bucolic and peaceful surroundings that I would highly recommend. We loved it!! You’re not far from the towns of Snohomish and Monroe. The sauna is the icing on the cake.

Bunky Barn was a pleasant surprise! Alison was a kind and generous host who provided everything we needed to be comfortable in the barn. My partner and I rode our bikes there and felt very safe. The fire pit and sauna were a treat and a perfect way to relax after our journey from Seattle. The horses and the property made it feel like an adventure in nature with all the creature comforts in mind. Thanks for sharing your space with us!

We had an amazing stay at Alison’s barn! The renovated horse stall was such a creative place to sleep. We enjoyed the sauna and the outdoor shower. We felt so welcomed by Alison and enjoyed exploring around the farm! Highly recommend!

My stay at Alison’s was serene, peaceful, and exactly what I needed. I was looking for a place to decompress, find inspiration, and get some work done, and this exceeded my expectations.
As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by the smell of freshly cut grass, hay, and the farm. Two adorable miniature donkeys welcomed me, and I quickly found myself captivated by the beautiful horses grazing nearby. The setting felt calming and restorative from the moment I arrived.
The barn room was unique, private, and full of character. It was the perfect place to work and create. Sitting at the desk while watching horses graze just outside was such a special experience. The showers were wonderful, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.
I was a little concerned it might get chilly at night since part of one wall is screened to the outdoors, but the comforter was so thick and cozy that I slept soundly. It was also surprisingly quiet at night.
The only thing to note is that there is no sink in the room, though it wasn’t an issue for me as I simply washed my hands in the shower. There is also an outhouse around the corner. As someone who is a bit of a germaphobe, I would have preferred an indoor bathroom, but that was really my only minor drawback.
Overall, I loved this getaway and would absolutely stay here again. It’s a wonderful retreat for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy a unique farm experience.

My stay was wonderful and I would definitely come back again. It was peaceful, beautiful, and a very unique spot. The entire farm was welcoming, the bed was warm and cozy even in colder temps, the sauna was incredible and the animals were a delight. 10/10

Allison was an amazing host and very hospitable. The bunk in the barn was a perfect relaxing getaway and is conveniently located near downtown areas and small shops.
The friendly horses and donkeys on the property made the stay extra special and brought plenty of smiles.
To top it off, the fire pit was amazing—so peaceful and relaxing.
I would rate this stay a 10 out of 10 and would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique farm-style getaway. An amazing experience overall.

Amazing and unique! Alison was so warm, thoughtful and helpful in all ways. What a wonderful place, with horses, donkeys, wild deer, bunnies barn swallows and more. That’s not even mentioning the lovely sauna and outdoor shower. If you like one of a kind stays with sweet animals and some stand out amenities this is your kinda place.

Dont know where to start on how amazing my stay on Alison’s property was! She was very quick with responding and helped me quickly with adjusting my accommodation, when I arrived she made everything clear on where everything around the property was. Enjoyed the quietness and trots of the horses around the barn was a spectacular experience. Sauna was amazing and coming back late from a night hike, showering under the starts was magical. 100% enjoyed every bit of Alison’s barn and definitely recommend and will be visiting again :))

We absolutely loved our stay at Alison's farm!! How creative the design of the Bunky and farm layout is! Sauna and outdoor shower were fantastic as well! We were so welcomed by the humans, animals, and natural landscape of the farm that is was hard to leave! Alison and the team practice the beautiful philosophy of consent with the animals (only touching when the animals would like to interact). How wonderful to experience this harmony between humans and animals. We would absolutely recommend this stay to all fellow animal/nature adventurers!

My partner and I needed a last minute stay to get out of the city. Alison was so kind on letting us stay here. This place is magical, the nature, the animals it was amazing. I needed a quiet place to work on a creative project for a weekend and this was perfect. The hosts met me, answered all my questions and made sure I what I needed (water, an electric kettle, an aero press and instructions for the sauna. She even lent me contact solution.) The bed is super comfortable and kept me warm even when temps dipped into the 30s Was fun to hear the donkeys and horse pals wake up in the morning but it was quiet at night. And the hot shower and sauna were dreamy. I kept thinking that this would be such an ideal stop on a bike tour. Def recommend

A serene, unique and comfortable place with amazing sauna, star-gazing from the shower made it perfect. Feels almost like a hotel with the comfy bed, actual roof and private shower-though it is open air (with door and window screens) but plenty of warm bedding if you stay in the colder months. Waking up to horses outside the window is very special. Really amazing hosts, I’ll definitely stay again!

Such a special spot! Beautiful location, easy to get to, and very peaceful. Alison is so lovely and gave us time to walk around and learn about her program. The bed is SO comfortable, I slept incredibly well. Special opportunity to half camp half vacation in a lovely spot, hope to stay again :)

We had such a relaxing time at the Barn. We got to meet the animals on the property and learn more about what they do which I was very appreciative of! The sauna was great, everything was clean, and the bed was comfy. I would definitely stay again.

Interesting experience. I shared a barn with two donkeys, and there was many other animals on the property. The host will introduce you to the animals if you ask and explained how to best interact with them. Birds are constantly singing and it’s quite peaceful. It is a bit exposed as the owner work in and around the barn to tend to the animals, but it is very quiet at night and feels pretty private. 4/5 stars because the bed wasn’t totally clean and the Wi-Fi was not good. If you’re looking for a comfortable but immersive farm type of experience, this is nice place.

Alison's place was absolutely serene! As someone who grew up on a farm, it was beautifully nostalgic to be in the barn and around the horses, and as someone who now resides mostly in a city, I appreciated how clean it was, all the thoughtful attention put into making guests comfortable (towels provided, toiletries, USB plugs, native plants book, down comforter, solid wood bed-frame), and the wonderful amenities. Having the barn, sauna, shower, and yoga platform basically all to myself was like having my own private little yoga retreat. Easy to get there from the city with little to no traffic. I would definitely stay here again!!!
