2 e-bikes and 1 mountain bike, all of which are contingent upon availability. A signed waiver is required. Minimum age is 16 years old or at the discretion of the host. They cost $25/hr. per person.
Experienced horse riders can book horse rides for $50/hr. per person. Inexperienced riders must be led using a lead rope. Signed waivers and provided helmets are required.
Our in-ground, unheated swimming pool is open mid-April to end October. $60/hr.

All hail William Smallwood. Not only did he serve in the Revolutionary War, but he left behind the ideal escape from beltway chaos. Just 40 minutes outside DC, Smallwood State Park is a 628 acre paradise with a marina, boat launching ramps, a picnic area, camping area, pavilions, a recycled tire playground and nature trails. If you’re down for a little history (and maybe a little mystery) Cedarville State Forest will definitely dazzle. The 3,510 acre forest was once the winter camping ground of the Piscataway Tribe because of the mild climate and abundance of game. Legend claims that there is a Native American burial ground within the forest... but it has yet to be found. Spooky! Equestrian, family and youth group campsites are available for your overnight stay. 19.5 miles of horseback riding, hiking and mountain biking trails weave through the forest. They pass a number of historical features, including the loblolly pine plantations that were planted by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930's, by a charcoal kiln, and through farm areas whose springs and streams were used to make moonshine!

From the flat land at the bottom to the top of the mountain, this is a place where you can find a spot to sit and think, draw, paint, nap, or identify over 30 medicinal plants in their natural habitats (absolutely NO harvesting of medicinals or wildflowers!). Listen to the many birds, spot the wildflowers.
Some areas are accessible by wheelchair, while others are not, but all areas offer something to sustain your spirit.
If you feel the need to explore the area, you are within walking distance of NotaViva Farm Brewery and Winery, 15 dirt road minutes from the new Sweet Run State Park one direction and Breaux Vineyard in the other direction. Every year in the spring there are 4-6 Thoroughbred foals born that eventually will become racehorses. They live on the farm until they are 2 years old and then they go off to begin their racing career.

Rodney and Tara were very welcoming and gave us great directions to their place. Their farm is relatively close to Fredericksburg and the surrounding area. Our 32’ Class A fit just right but I would not go any bigger than that by the woodshed. He has a very nice wooden deck set out with lights, which is a great place to set up your chairs for the evening and listen to all the wildlife in the forest. We really enjoyed the night sky and being surrounded by nature.

Rodney was very kind and offered a better spot than we had originally planned for (bonus!). My family and I were headed to ObX in our Rv from Pittsburgh and wanted a planned over night rest stop to break up the trip. This location was absolutely what we wanted. A safe and secluded parking spot off the the beaten path to spend the night. Excellent amenities and great communication from the host. It is also close to the town of Harpers Ferry, WV, where can visit a Civil War Museum and enjoy the city's 19th-century architecture. Perfect getaway weekend for those living in the DC metro area.

We really enjoyed camping at Notaviva! We had a nice view of their pond and main building (which is really cool!). Communication with the host was great and they are very easy to deal with. Even offered us free firewood!
The location is great too. Not only can you walk to a winery / brewery, but super close to Harper's Ferry and Charles Town.
