Offering a limited number of level, private, grassy, campsites as a home base for your coastal Virginia adventures. All sites are direct waterfront. Pit toilet, potable water, and outdoor shower available on site. 2 sites are unimproved and offer no water, electric, or sewer. 2 sites offer 30amp electric and potable water hook ups. A gravel boat ramp is adjacent to this property and is suitable for launching boats up to 28'. There are multiple sites on the property that are suitable for launching canoes, kayaks, and other small boats. You may berth your boat at our private dock. A full service marina is located 1 mile away, via either water or land. Situated in a quiet and peaceful rural setting, the Severn River is a boater's and sportsman's paradise offering excellent fishing for the angler. Diverse waters for both the powerboater and the sailor. Clean beaches and water for swimming and tubing. Miles of pristine shoreline for the kayaker to explore. And expansive wetlands for the waterfowl hunter. Or venture further into the Mobjack and Chesapeake Bay with easy access from this site. Conveniently located 15 minutes from Yorktown, VA. which offers many historic and modern attractions, including an excellent white sand swimming beach. 35 minutes from Williamsburg, Va. with it's many historic attractions and visitor amenities. 35 minutes from Busch Gardens and Water Country theme parks, and 1 hr from King's Dominion theme park. Be aware that this is a working waterfront, and as such you should expect very early activity and noise as commercial fisherman head out in pursuit of their days catch. Situated in an area of coastal salt marsh which can become "buggy" when the wind is still. Have insect repellent available. Host is a seasoned camper and regularly boondocks in a camper van.

This was an exceptional site. My Dogs and I had completed freedom and the Bay was fantastic. As an added bonus it was soft shell crab season and a local crabber using the dock and his family became friends with me and my dogs. They shared part of their catch and I gave them some of the camp stew I made over an open fire. This was a great site and I plan to return with my kayac next time.

Beautiful place to camp, fish, kayak! My dog had the best time swimming and running around the yard. The view was amazing and very peaceful. Huge sites with flat grassy spots to choose from. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and the land was very nicely maintained, with trash cans on site. There was a nice outhouse, outdoor shower, sink with hot/cold potable water. There are working fishermen/crabbers that were onsite EARLY on Saturday, but luckily the hosts told me ahead of time so I wasn’t surprised or caught off guard by hearing them. We can’t wait to come back.

What a great spot with a beautiful view! Rod was there to give us the lay of the land when he arrived- he was friendly and easy going. Though it’s not “private”, we felt unbothered by the coming and going at the dock. We were able to relax and look forward to another stay soon!

Watch my YouTube video of my stay. Search @1perspective123 Video available March 27, 2026 at 6 p.m. I reserved Site 3, but since I was the only one there, the host gave me my pick of any I wanted. I chose site 2. It had the most open space, while still being surrounded by forest. It has a picnic table and a fire pit for your convenience. There is also a porta-john on the property when you first drive in. There was a short walk path to get in some steps as well. I had a peaceful night. The road in is 2WD accessible. I drove my Toyota Camry right up to the site. Would recommend. Sites 2 and 3 are the most secluded. The host is very friendly. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I was having trouble finding a campground in the area, then I remembered to check Hipcamp—and I struck gold. I found Kyle’s RV spot, located in a quiet residential neighborhood with plenty of space and great accommodations. It has a private entry and exit, and it’s conveniently close to shopping and the freeway. Kyle was extremely helpful and a great host. A+ experience—definitely check him out. I’ll absolutely be back.

First hipcamp booking and it did not disappoint! I had a wonderful stay here this past weekend. Very kind host, stunning views and for this past weekend so quiet.
