The recreational draw to this area is hard to beat in VA, and this property has it all for an amazing outdoor weekend! The ranch comprises 40 acres of lowland acreage designated for the camp, including a 5-acre lake.
The Cedar Grove sites 1, 2, and 3 are along the banks of Passage Creek located within a sparse, groomed Cedar grove. They are all a short walk (or drive) to the lake and beach amenities. Each site has varying access to the creek, so check out the site details. These sites are extra large and can accommodate multiple family groups, as well as, travel trailers of all sizes up to off-road motorcoaches in site 1. There are no hookups, so just boondocking. Pack it in, Pack it out. Generators are allowed but please be aware of the other sites and direct the noise away.
The Lakeside Mountain Stream site is very secluded, nestled between the mountains and the lake. It overlooks our 5-acre lake with mountain views in the background. It's on the opposite side of the lake from the Cedar Sites. This site has its own dock and is just a short walk down a mowed trail to a beautiful section of Passage Creek. An additional seasonal mountain stream can cascade behind the site and run under it to feed the lake when the conditions are right. It's a delicate site, so the accommodations and group size is strictly limited.

Locally, the North end of Fort Valley offers many great hiking trails, trout fishing, rock climbing, horseback riding, and the Elizabeth Furnace day-use park. Taskers Gap OHV/ATV park is a short drive south, and the valley is sandwiched between both forks of the Shenandoah River for those looking to paddle.

We have a level site to enjoy. Our farm is bordered on 3 sides by water. The campsite is located on Peters Mill Creek. The back of our property is bordered by passage creek. Cool off in the summer with a dip in the cool clean waters or relax and read a book with the sounds of nature. You can enjoy the cows, horses and goats who love the attention! However we ask you let us know before trying to pet or interact with the animals because we do have a Livestock Guardian Dog inside the fence with them and she is very protective of her herd. In the spring and summer we offer for sale fresh eggs and organic produce to our guest. Our property is located in the heart of Fort Valley. We have miles of hiking trails all around. There are 2 horse back riding camps in the area to offer a beautiful view of our area on horseback. The activities are endless. Several excellent wineries are within a short diving distance. There is a fire ring at each site and we provide a free bundle of wood to each guest with more bundles available for $4 each. A porta potty is also located on the property for our guest. Please read the rules and recomendations posted at the site when you arrive. There is no lifeguard on duty, so you swim at your own risk. Although the creek is pretty shallow most of the time, we ask that if you have children, they are supervised at all times, especially around the water. Downtown Strasburg also has tons of antique shops, Box Office Brewery, The Pancake Underground, Old Dominion Doggery, Burger Shoppe, Ice Cream Depot, and the Strasburg Museum, which is great for anyone who loves trains or history.
We are a short drive to Woodstock and Front Royal as well. Or take in a movie at The Family Drive in Theatre, just 14 miles away.

Neighboring Muse vineyards, the state park and a 3 min drive to town. It's the perfect getaway and also an excellent hub to loads of fun nearby. Late August to mid September is when the PawPaw's are ripe and readily falling from the trees, booking during these times grants you access to the one of nature's best kept secrets, the Paw Paw fruit. You won't find them in stores but you can graze for them here. They make a delicious second breakfast

This is a beautiful 44 acre land with a water stream running through it making it a serene and relaxing hidden gem. The camp site is on a 12 acre open field with complete privacy from the main road with Sheep living on the property. There are two small mountain ridges that are great for hiking while being able to enjoy the scenic panoramic views. There is also a 9 acres of land across the main camp site that is surrounded by water on 3 sides, which is excellent for fishing.
We are located just a few miles from the West Virginia boarder.
TIPS:
-PLEASE KEEP ALL FOOD IN THE CAR when going to sleep or when you are away from the site.
- The area has wild animals (snakes, bears, coyotes, etc.) so make sure you stay safe and keep your food in a secure place. *pro-tip: animals are typically more scared of you, however be cautious and watch your step.

We do not allow RVs or trailers on our main farm due to our narrow mountain driveway. Wisteria Camp has a private driveway, it can accommodate small RV/Trailers. Camper vans are welcome at the main farm!
Our farm store includes our Animal Welfare Approved products such as Eggs, Chicken, Beef, Pork, Lamb and Dairy, as well as produce, jams, coffee and other items from our local community. We offer camping essentials, local art, bike rentals, farm experiences and tours.
The property has miles of trails along mountain spring-fed streams, a small pond and access to three private acres on the Robinson River, a stocked Trout stream, just 2 miles down the road. Our property is centrally located to White Oak Canyon (20 minutes) and Old Rag Mountain (10 minutes) trailheads in the Shenandoah National Park as well as many vineyards and breweries.

There is a fire ring at each site and we provide a free bundle of wood to each guest with more bundles available for $4 each. A porta potty is also located on the property for our guest. Please read the rules and recomendations posted at the site when you arrive. There is no lifeguard on duty, so you swim at your own risk. Although the creek is pretty shallow most of the time, we ask that if you have children, they are supervised at all times, especially around the water. Located just 4 miles from Strasburg, Virginia, we are within striking distance of a variety of hiking and outdoor adventures, including the Strasburg River Walk (5 miles away), Signal Knob Trail (13 miles away), Elizabeth Furnace Recreational Area (13 miles away), Tuscarora Trail Eagle Rock Trail (19 miles away), Shenandoah River State Park (24 miles away), Overlook Trail (25 miles away), and Camp Roosevelt Recreation Area (27 miles away).
Downtown Strasburg also has tons of antique shops, Box Office Brewery, The Pancake Underground, Old Dominion Doggery, Burger Shoppe, Ice Cream Depot, and the Strasburg Museum, which is great for anyone who loves trains or history.
We are a short drive to Woodstock and Front Royal as well. Or take in a movie at The Family Drive in Theatre, just 14 miles away.

This is a beautiful 44 acre land with a water stream running through it making it a serene and relaxing hidden gem. The camp site is on a 12 acre open field with complete privacy from the main road with Sheep living on the property. There are two small mountain ridges that are great for hiking while being able to enjoy the scenic panoramic views. There is also a 9 acres of land across the main camp site that is surrounded by water on 3 sides, which is excellent for fishing.
We are located just a few miles from the West Virginia boarder.
TIPS:

We had a great time here and would absolutely come back. The property is spacious with lots of spots to set up, which makes it especially great for a group trip where everyone wants a bit of room to spread out.
If you’re planning to camp by the creek, 4-wheel drive is a must. The terrain is no joke, but totally worth it once you’re settled.
There are large piles of wood for use, just bring an axe or proper saw for firewood, they came in very handy for us to get pieces down to size for our jack stove.
Electric hookups were clutch during our stay. It was overcast the whole time, so our solar panels were basically useless. If your device can’t sit directly on a ledge near the outlet, bring an extension cord. You’ll thank yourself later.
Temps dropped down to 11 degrees, and we were impressed that the pump water didn’t freeze at all and tasted great. Big win for cold-weather camping.
One heads-up on site selection: the spot by the firepit and picnic table is convenient, but it’s close to the road, so keep that in mind if you’re looking for something more tucked away.
There’s no cell service for Verizon down by the creek, so plan accordingly. If you need connectivity, Starlink is the move.
Overall, a solid stay with beautiful surroundings and wildlife, and plenty of flexibility depending on how you like to camp. Just come prepared and you’ll have an awesome experience.

Jennifer and her partner were warm, friendly, responsive, and kind. Our honeymoon was made absolutely poetic by waking to a snow covered ground and a gingerly cared for goose egg wrapped in the warm wool of Josie. The map provided was detailed and offered many a good adventure. The eggs we gifted to our new landlord who enjoyed, and we are still sipping the camp roasted coffee with memories of sweetness dancing us to peace in this crazy world. Levi is a wonderful host!!! He has a beautiful land and property that suited our needs of getting some quiet time in nature. Tons of walking trails to discover, friendly fishermen, but Levi's hospitality is really what made this trip. He helped us figure out our camper, went out of his way to help us fix our truck, and gave us a tour of his farm! I can't say enough good things about Levi, his family, dogs, property, and the people we met on this trip. 10/10 we will be coming back

Host Levi was incredibly nice and welcoming. He stopped by later in the afternoon to check in and see if we needed anything, which was really appreciated.
I loved the campsite—it was clean and had plenty of room for our tent. You can park directly at your site, making unloading and loading camping gear extremely easy.
I didn’t do any fishing during my stay, but fishing is available if that’s something you’re interested in. Just a small heads-up—fishermen may walk past your campsite.
What I loved most about this place was the sound of the creek. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing, especially after a long day.
I would absolutely come back to Levi’s campsite again.

This is the perfect combo of spacious camping spots, easy access from the highway, and just enough amenities to make this a truly enjoyable experience. Combo lock access behind a gate means late arrivals can just cruise right in and feel nice and private once you’re set up. The bathroom facilities are a great touch to level up what would otherwise be primitive camping. Jen was responsive and accommodating.

Beautiful camping spot! Tent camping is right next to the river so you have lovely water sounds all night long. The campsites are also in the woods and heavily shaded so it’s much cooler than the open campground where the RVs park. The only negatives are you have to walk up a steep hill to the bathrooms and there isn’t any parking next to your campsite so you have to walk your gear in and out from the parking lot (which is close). You can rent a golf cart but they are $$. We camped in spot #2 which was great. #1 is right next to the river rafting access so it’s not very private. Campsite #6 is furthest in the woods and most private but a little further walk with your gear.
There is so much to do on property that you don’t have to leave. The pool is super fun with waterslides. Bring your own river tube and float down the river around the property. My son loved the bike park. My daughter had fun on the playground. We had a great 4 day weekend!

The campground is nestled into the foot of the hill and just up from the river. It’s a beautiful location, especially in the Fall with its brilliant reds and rusty oranges. The camping sites themselves however are a bit close and despite being surrounded by great nature on trails and all around, you’re a bit close to your neighbors and it can feel like suburban camping. Still, it’s close to
Shenandoah and the bathrooms are great! :)
