We are a working farm, scenic setting with a 200 year old farm house, quiet and peaceful, nestled at the foot of the Blue Ridge mountains. Close to historic sites, such as Monticello, Montpelier, and the Manassas Civil War Battlefield. Luray Caverns and Sky Line Drive can be found 30 to 40 miles west. We are one hour southwest of D.C. and one hour northeast of Charlottesville. During your stay you can sample from one of the many wineries/breweries in the area. If your traveling with your horse, we have indoor stalls and turnout available.

We unfortunately had to cancel last minute but leading up to it, Jim was extremely responsive, helpful, flexible and understanding. We will definitely try to stay here if we’re passing through!

Great experience on the farm

Camping on Jim’s farm was a pleasure. Our site had electric and water which were huge bonuses considering the heat of the weekend. Great location for the outdoor adventures we had planned for the weekend! We especially loved the family dog that liked to visit and hand out.

Awesome friendly stay

It was a super nice farmland! There was a pool we didn’t use but looked nice. We camped up on the horse flat area and it was pretty even. We did hear a bobcat at one point in the night! Seems like the dogs and other animals kept it away. Definitely a great one night quick stay!!

a bit of trouble getting level, nut that pool! nice place for an overnight. Dogs were a little annoying.
