⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it! The campsite is beautiful — right by the river with peaceful sounds of the water and plenty of space to relax. It truly feels like a getaway in nature. It’s also very dog-friendly! We brought our 5 pups, and they were in heaven exploring and playing by the water. It’s the perfect spot if you want your dogs to enjoy the adventure too. The setup is definitely more on the “true camping” side, which we actually loved. The bathroom is a simple tent with a bucket system, and the shower uses propane to heat the water. It works well, but I recommend bringing shower shoes and being ready to rough it just a bit. Trevor, our host, was super nice and helpful — he made sure we had everything we needed and checked in to make sure our stay was going smoothly. If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic escape where you can unplug, relax, and enjoy nature (and bring your pups along!), this place is amazing. We’d absolutely come back!

It was a beautiful campsite and the grounds were open with space between all sites which was nice. The river was so beautiful to wade into! There were bugs (duh, you’re camping next to water!). Trevor was super friendly and helpful and answered any questions quickly. The shower was a good touch (definitely roughing it but again, you’re camping!). River 3 had a fire pit set up and ready to go with some chairs. All in all, very happy with the stay

I loved the experience at the Farm. I great way to get away from the noise and just a great way to relax. Trevor was great and always open for any questions we might have had. This spot is a spot we will be coming back too. The land was very well maintained and clean.

The river passing by Trevor’s property was an amazing experience, so peaceful. The property is certainly loved - and it shows. Beautifully maintained sites with plenty of room to stretch out. Close to main road but in the middle of nowhere! Inviting chairs and fire pit, with cooking area, greeted me at River One. Trevor was the best Host, so welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Will definitely stay again at The Farm!

nothing can possibly capture the joy of a husband observing his stressed out wife in peace. "I'm so relaxed" is a rare treat for city folk and I fell in love with the north fork. when we got home, my wife was looking for property. The campsite is steps from the river. my wife and daughter relaxed in inflatable tubes that I tied to a tree. I used my waiters and caught a 13 inch largemouth and 2 panfish I didn’t recognize. couldn’t recommend this place more. I loved it and I can’t wait to go back.

We had an awesome night of tent/ hammock camping here with our toddler and baby. Trevor was very kind and accommodating of our last min plans. Beautiful spacious site and easy river access. Definitely recommend taking his advice and call when you’re close instead of relying on GPS. Would love to camp here again!

This is a wonderful place, and Trevor is an excellent host. The Farm is very quiet and gives direct access to the river. The area is perfectly maintained and clean. The hot shower is an absolute plus, especially when temperatures are high and after a long hike. Trevor is the perfect host: welcomed us when we arrived, explained everything and remained very discrete during our stay. The Farm is highly recommended- we wish Trevor all the best developing the business!

Great family getaway!

We had an amazing weekend trip to Trevor’s place and highly recommend it! It is truly a hidden gem. We originally booked site 3 but as we were the only party there, ended up setting up camp at site 1. Playing in the river was the highlight of our visit- our dog and kids had a blast wading, and we watched fly fisherman catching fish. We went to Muse Vineyard across the river for wine flights and food- a must visit! Nearby Seven Turns State Park had an awesome park for the kids. The farm is very convenient to town for making a quick run for supplies or restaurants. Trevor was a friendly and helpful host. The property was well maintained and a pleasure to spend time at, and we really appreciated being able to let our dog roam off leash. We will definitely be back to explore nearby MTB trails and swim again!

River Front Farm Fiesta

We had an amazing time. Trevor was super accessible to answer any questions, our kids loved running around the big space and floating down the river. We walked over to the local winery, hiked across a suspension bridge and enjoyed s'mores by the fire. It was a perfect getaway!

Trevor was super nice and helpful. The space was great. The kids loved to tube up and down the super clean and clear river. Bring a truck so you can tote the tubes. We travelled with a group of 25+ and there was plenty of space. We played a mini-baseball game, went hiking, etc. We'll definitely be back.

Trevor was a great host, and we had an amazing time at this beautiful property by a serene river. The camping spot was fantastic, complete with a campfire. Tubing was a blast, offering the perfect way to cool off and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The scenery was gorgeous and peaceful. Additionally, there’s a winery nearby. I highly recommend this spot for a day of fun, nature, and relaxation! We highly recommend for anyone.

Firstly, the GPS directions provided did not lead us to the correct location, which caused some confusion and inconvenience. Secondly, we found that the property was not suitable for camping—it felt more like a typical backyard rather than a campsite. Additionally, due to the presence of mosquitoes and flies, we had to leave the spot earlier than planned and return home. We wanted to bring this to your attention, and we hope this feedback is helpful for future improvements.

We really enjoyed our stay at Trevor’s little hide away. It felt private and remote, but only minutes from Woodstock. It was a blanket of bluebells by the river, and sitting there by the campfire in the morning drinking our tea and coffee felt like bliss. Trevor was great host, very responsive, and we would (will) absolutely come back.

Trevors property is 100% secluded, quiet, and well kept. Many sites to choose from, river front, field, etc. If youre from VA, or just traveling through like I was, definitely stay here, you wont regret it. Thanks for the hospitality Trevor.

Great spot and had it all to ourselves. Trevor was great and checked in via text if we needed anything. River was too high for frolicking but we just had a ton of rain, so that happens. Winery was a short walk over the bridge. Only heard crickets all night.

Great spot on the Shenandoah!

Trevor was a great host and we truly enjoyed our time at his family's property. The three river campsites are located within several dozen footsteps from the river's edge. My friend and I really enjoyed walking up to the swinging bridge and floating back to the property on a very shallow, lazy section of the Shenandoah. The town of Woodstock is within a mile or two and offers a few good food stops if you don't travel with a kitchen and food. Muse Vineyard is about a half-mile walk. Quiet, beautiful, easy access to food, right next to a river, and some great hikes within a short drive. Trevor's place is a great base camp.
