Perfect Riverside Getaway

Riverside, your private Camp Lot
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Deborah’s Riverside Hipcamp! The location was easy to get to, and the site itself was level and mostly grass. The camping area was huge, so there was plenty of room to spread out, but we chose to set up right along the riverbank. A flight of stairs takes you down, and you’re literally right at the water’s edge.
We rented the canoe and spent a few hours enjoying the Shenandoah River—and we were even lucky enough to catch a few fish! 🎣
The fire pit was perfect, and there was a concrete table that could be used as a prep area. There’s also a large concrete cooking station, which we didn’t use, but it would be fantastic for a larger group.
The site felt very private. You can see a few other structures through the woods, but otherwise, it felt secluded and peaceful.
One thing to be aware of is that there is limited to no cell service in the area. My phone showed SOS almost the entire weekend. Occasionally, a signal would come through and I’d get a few messages, but don’t count on having reliable service—which, honestly, was part of what made it such a nice getaway!
The hosts were very friendly, and we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely look forward to returning to this location!

Riverside, your private Camp Lot
We stayed on Sarah's land in our RV with our Jeep and it was wonderful! It is a great space to camp, relax, have a fire, fish, etc. We were looking for a quiet space to unwind and act as our base for our daily adventures and Sarah's land was the perfect fit for that. Our only complaint was the mosquitoes, especially by the water, but that is to be expected when out in nature. We would definitely visit again!
Another fabulous camping adventure! Riverside Camp was gorgeous. Well maintained and clean. You have neighbors but can still make camp feel cozy and super secluded. The view can NOT be beat. We tent camped for 3 nights and would happily return. We floated, camp-fired, bird watched, sat quietly, napped, star gazed (GREAT stars. Super dark!), and just enjoyed the breeze. River shoes are mandatory. Don't even try it without them. The hosts were communicative but hands off, until we needed them. Then they were super responsive and saved the day! Would love to return in the future!

Incredible property on the river. 100% recommend a stay here! Easy to get to (although on an unpaved road it’s not bad at all) and beautifully maintained grass. The river was perfect this time of year so make sure to get in!
Hosts were very kind and responsive as well.
Would stay here again in a heartbeat
Deborah was super responsive and worked to make sure we understood how to access from river or land. Recommended!
